Addiction is often not recognized by family and friends. The true cause of addiction is found in the fact that people close to the person do not wish to recognize or admit the dangers luring the person into a negative spiral. Most people know and see what is going on but deny the situation, ignore the signs, and even stimulate the addiction. We all can become addicted. But only a few develop a real addiction. How is that possible?
