RATING
Rate my podcast? More like Rathe my podcast, am I right? Arsenal Pass is the best Flesh and Blood podcast out there. Hayden and Brendan are a freight train from hell giving you all the Flesh and Blood info you can handle. They caused the Session Blood to flee to Legend Story Studios, they write Tall Timmy's jokes, script Tariq Patel's plays, and give Matt Rogers the dets on what the meta is up to when he's getting ready to choose a deck for the season. Can not recommend this podcast enough for those looking to improve their Flesh and Blood game play. And until next time, see you in the next review.
Been listening to them since mid uprising when i started playing the game. they have been extremely helpful in understanding new and old concepts in the ever expanding world of Rathe.
Amazing content! Hayden shower stories are the best and we need more of those!
I don't play FaB, but I enjoy listening to Brendan and Hayden's banter, and I love hearing Hayden say "shackle up," "sonata," and "skeleta" in his Australian accent. Definitely a pleasant listening experience
Kieran and Karol (Session Blood) were number one, but they lost their edge and turned in their wings. Brendan and Hayden were number two, but now they are number one and are getting their dream shot - to make Arsenal Pass the top gun of Flesh and Blood podcasts! This duo of Brendan and Hayden couldn't more clearly express the metaphor of dwarfs standing on the shoulders of giants to see further. The diminutive Brendan Patrick is given a massive platform on the shoulders of a titan of the game, in Calling and National Champion Hayden Dale, to prognosticate and pontificate on the intricacies of Flesh and Blood. This provides the community with some profound insights and detailed analysis to allow the listeners to grow their understanding of all aspects of the game. They also throw in some great banter and entertaining stories.Having had a busy and stressful start to the year I haven't been able to play nearly as much Flesh and Blood as I would like, but these two have kept me thoroughly in touch with the ins and outs of the developing meta game and further inspired my passion for the game.My only complaints about the podcast are in relation to Hayden's multiple failed promises to dye his hair and Brendan's disappointing lack of Flesh and Blood tattoos. In spite of this, Arsenal Pass are the best!
Having players of Brendan Patrick and Hayden Dale caliber keeping an eye on the meta and telling us how Ranger will still suck and how to do Basic Math is honestly the best content out there on Youtube
The very best and worst of the takes come together to create one of the top flesh and blood podcasts out there. Consistent, informative, and genuine, these two have been around since the elder days. You might even call them boomers, puzzled at their use of terms like "second cycle" and stories of drone of brutality. Excellent player perspective on an excellent game.
Always great content, love what you're doing keep it up from 100th episode and beyond
My favorite Flesh and Blood podcast, well informed players that not only have good insights into the game but be very entertaining while doing so. Cheers to 100 episodes and 100 more to go!
My weekly dose of dozing off during work hours. Nothing better than listening to this comedic duo of mildly accomplished fab players while resting my eyes on a tuesday afternoon. Tbh they are the best voices in the fab comunity who keep coming up with interesting topics and new perspectives even if the meta seems solved in a week or two. Rated A for Arsenal Pass.
I really enjoy the Arsenal Pass podcast. Thanks for the great content.
As a fellow enthusiast of games involving skin and bodily fluids, I find the expertise that Brendan and Hayden offer to be extremely valuable - especially when Brendan joins Hayden in talking about paper card games and not digital ones! When Brendan is locked in to this game about meat and red liquid, his enthusiasm and insight are unrivaled - unsurprising, really, since everything is bigger in Texas. On top of that, Hayden's accent and international flavor adds a bit of culture to the podcast, which really keeps the podcast from being dragged down under.
These two dudes are awesome! Every time I listen to an episode I know I'll learn something that will benefit me in the very next game I play or it keeps me up to date with the latest news about FaB. And Command and Cookout is my favorite naming of any podcast sections!!!
an absolute must listen for anyone who wants to improve their flesh and blood plays
Review #2: 5 MORE Star-A-Roonies > "Seeing as my first 5-star review was already featured on the pod and nearly made the hosts wet their Depends as they sunset into their Golden Years, I have to "up-the-ante" with a SECOND 5-star review since they've NOW decided to bribe their audience for reviews with a giveaway. So, actually since this is my second review this should take my rating to 10-stars! Now you know this podcast MUST be awesome! Here I'm dishing out more of my thoughts about this Kitchen Nightmares of a podcast. And like Gordon Ramsay, I've come to roast our fine hosts until they regret having asked for input at all! Brendan, funny you mention you want to cosplay an old Bilbo Baggins, because just like a hobbit, you barely come up to Hayden's knees IRL. And just like Bilbo with the One Ring, it might be time to leave the difficult tasks of winning pro-events to someone else and just board that boat to the Undying Lands. You can reminisce there with soon to be Living Legend Chane about the good ole' days when you knew how to pilot his deck.As for Hayden wishing he could cosplay as Flake. If I were you, I'd also wish I was a more entertaining content creator with more personality. And it's funny they say you aren't affected by jet-lag. My theory? You're actually Dracula... you kind of do look like an Australian Luke Evans, just with MUCH bushier eyebrows. And just like him in that movie, your performance at ProTour was a huge flop. Everyone share your #HaydenDaleConspiracy as to what your theory is. But in all seriousness, these guys are some of the best and most innovative players out there and genuinely good guys. I hope to actually have the courage to say more than "Good luck in the next round..." to one of them at the next event I see them at. Keep up the good work team! Your loving #ArsenalArmy will keep supporting you all the way! (that's pronounced Arse-Anal Army) Peace!Review #1: 5 Stars ***** > "Arsenal Pass is the titular source for everything Flesh and Blood related. The hosts' have the charm and banter of an elderly couple sun setting into their Golden Years together with meta defining decks in hand. The Australian Nationals winning Hayden Dale is a wealth spring of knowledge about the game while the charismatic other Super-Saiyan-looking guy keeps Hayden's Icarus level ego from flying too close to the sun and keeps the podcast grounded firmly. Don't pass up your chance to gain new perspectives on this wonderful game and maybe learn that the true goal of Flesh & Blood is not about winning Worlds or Callings, but instead is about the friends (and rivals) we make along the way. #weloveyoubrendan"
Craving Heuristics? They've got you covered. Smooth velvety tones and seamless transitions? Yep, got that too. Continuously underrating Prism in Classic Constructed? You bet your bottom dollar. The Arsenal Pass Podcast is a smorgasbord of delectable Flesh & Blood tidbits ranging from competitive wisdom to event preparation with a smattering of Brendan Patrick bad beat stories.THE Podcast to listen to if you are serious about levelling up in Flesh & Blood.5/5 Would dye my hair peroxide blonde again.
Very good Podcast!Quality content, good voices to listen to without falling to sleep.Just a joy to listen to. If i see a new podcast i click at instant speed.
The best Flesh and Blood content around. Informative, opinionated, well organised, and Brendan is there too. Watch it in video form if you can, Brendan pondering the nature of the universe as he stares into the void just off camera is mesmerising, but maybe that's just that his marathon runner's body. But real talk; they've helped my gameplay, got me active, and brought joy to my weekends. Give it listen, and I think you'll agree.
