In this interview recorded in May 2020, Dr. Sheri Slezak shares with Dr. Rena Malik her experience of becoming a Plastic Surgeon and changing surgical education. They discuss dealing with impostor syndrome, getting involved in organizations, and negotiating for promotion and raises.  They also focus on the stressors of the COVID-19 pandemic for surgeons and students and how they threaten to widen the gender gap in medicine.
