Denae, Vanessa, and “The Shaft” sit down with Meg, a wife, mother of three little boys, and a pharmacist. She has been health care for a decade and is passionate about patient and medication safety, as well as creating safe systems. She describes herself as more of a "naturally minded" pharmacist...so interesting, right?

She is the Director of Safety and Quality for the Washington State Hospital Association and works with care providers in hospitals across Washington, Alaska, and Oregon to prevent harm from adverse drug events and blood clots, as well as appropriate use of antibiotics.

We talk with Meg about her journey in understanding this idea of whole health, as she believes we do not focus on preventative and whole health enough! We discuss the widespread use (sometimes overuse) of medications and how likely most could be on less medication through lifestyle change. And YES, we talk all things antibiotics!
