Ryan Straz is a survivor of the tragic 2018 Humboldt Broncos bus crash that shocked the hockey community, Canada, and the world. He is now part of the Team Alberta Para-Hockey team and has the goal of representing Team Canada at the 2026 Paralympic Games.

Ryan is also the founder of the Straz Strong Foundation where he aims to help others that suffer from physical and mental disabilities through adaptive sport, educational speaking and funding.
