Curtis Beach, a decathlete - started his running career at 6 years old, when he would sneak under his grandparents barbed-wire fence to race after the horse they kept on the ranch. With a lot of grit and tenacity to one day catch the horse. He kept at it, running for hours which turned in to months and than years.
Eventually Curtis turned his running talents into racing - winning High School State Championships and Junior National Championships. Which led to a full scholarships at Duke University and become a all-star in the decathlon event.
Curtis won 2 NCAA championships in the Decathlon in college. He has 7 All-American titles is now training in Phoenix, Arizona for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
