Laura Wilkinson -  is a  three-time Olympian and gold medalist.  She began diving at the age of 15 after a growth spurt hindered her gymnastics career. Upon making the switch to diving, she was told by a teacher she was too old to start a new sport. Nine months later, she was kicked off her high school team for being a “waste of space.” The next year, she won her firstnational title, made the U.S. NationalTeam and took bronze at her firstWorld Cup.

Overall, Laura has won 19 U.S. Diving NationalTitles, a gold medal at the Goodwill Games, a gold medal in the 2000 Olympics and gold at theWorld Cup andWorld Championships.
