It was a time of shadows, fear, and pretending to fit in. It wasn't easy, but eventually I found the courage to step out of the darkness, breaking down the closet door to embrace my identity. I faced bullying, lost friends who wouldn't accept me, and felt alone. Yet, in that darkness, I found chosen family and friends who embraced me for who I am.
