BOSS NOTES: Sleep is important. The mindfulness around sleep has been put on the back burner, but no longer.

This 10 part series is should bring value, when mindful action is taken!

Start your day off with a good night sleep pattern to allow yourself to create the best life ever.

Being proactive: Don’t wait until the body has broken down before you awake to the reality of the neglect.

Improve the quality of life:

Dr. Matthew Walker can answer some of these questions and he has a ton of information FREE to you.  

Be aware of what you’re doing before and after sleep.

TOOLS:  Be aware of your sleep habits.

Create a better sleep pattern by creating a cohesive environment, and temperature.

Ditch the phone. 1 hour before bed and 1 hour after you wake up.

Reduce the screen time. Not because it’s taking over your life, but there are ways to use technology.

Light in the room. Can trigger your brain to stay awake. Natural light: darkness to sleep and the light to wake up.

Circadian rhythm also knows as your sleep/wake cycle is interrupted when the snooze button is launched. Alarm clocks are helpful, but they don’t have to be a fire truck blasting through your bedroom to wake you up. The lack of sleep could be what’s holding you back.

Be intentional by not pressing snooze.

Realize what your intentions are. What do you want to get out of the day? Be intentional about sleep.

Reward yourself with the small victories. If pressing snooze is an issue, have a No snooze rule and hold yourself accountable with an accountability partner.

Your life is more valuable than what you are observing! Ditch social media first thing in the morning.

Don’t play with fire and wake up suddenly in bad health.
