Hello Babble Babes!   I got a lead from Ancestry.com.  It fits with what Bill had relayed to me!   I was able to get a phone number and it took a text.  I described what I was doing for Bill.  This vet is pretty senior, so if he does get the messages, he may not be able to reply.   I’ll keep you posted.
