Hey, Happy Hour listeners. I hope you

0:02

enjoyed these throwback episodes of Happy

0:04

Hour. We'll be back with new episodes

0:06

very soon.

0:09

Hey guys, I'm Rachel. And I'm Allie. And

0:11

welcome to Bachelor Happy Hour. Yay.

0:13

Thank you guys so much for tuning into our first couple

0:16

of podcasts last week. I mean, we really

0:18

did have a great time talking to

0:20

Peter and Demi, and we hope you guys had a chance

0:22

to listen to our special emergency

0:24

podcast. We had to record it last minute because we

0:27

wanted to get get you breaking news and

0:29

that was with Jed and we posted it on Friday.

0:32

So if you haven't listened to that yet, check it out. Jed

0:34

was really honest with us

0:37

and it definitely gave me new perspective

0:39

to the story. I'll just say that. And

0:41

I just want to thank you guys for listening

0:44

and tuning into what Jed had to say.

0:46

I know it was, it was pretty split 50 50 on

0:49

people's opinions regarding Jed, but thanks

0:51

to you guys for subscribing and downloading the

0:53

episode. Bachelor Happy Hour was actually number

0:56

one podcast almost all

0:58

weekend. And that's pretty amazing because we just

1:00

started this whole thing. I know. And like we

1:02

definitely have a lot of kinks that we need to work out. We

1:05

do. We're just trying to figure it all out. So

1:08

bear with us, but we really appreciate

1:10

you guys listening. And we have a great

1:11

podcast today. I mean, we're really excited

1:13

because we are talking to the one and only

1:16

Hannah. It's funny. That's right. Like

1:19

I have been dying to talk to her about so

1:21

many things. And I know, Rachel,

1:24

you know this too. She's really close to Demi, who

1:26

is going through a huge journey in paradise

1:29

right now. And I'd love to hear what

1:31

Hannah has to say about everything. No, I'm

1:33

curious too. I love their friendship. And

1:36

I know both of us being past leads and having

1:38

been on The Bachelor too, we know what it's like to develop

1:40

those close friendships as

1:41

you're going through this entire journey. And

1:43

in regards to Demi, we found out this week that

1:46

she's been dating a woman prior to coming on

1:48

the show. And I feel like as a franchise, we're entering

1:50

some new territory here. And I'm wondering

1:52

what this all means for the Bachelor franchise. And

1:54

I guess my question is, will this change the future

1:56

of the show? I mean, I hope it does for the

1:59

better, you know, I think I think it's great. So

2:01

we're gonna get into all of that. Plus we're gonna talk to Hannah

2:03

about her life after the show and find

2:06

out what is next for her. It's funny because

2:08

we started this podcast at the right time.

2:10

I mean, right in the middle of the finale, this was an epic

2:13

finale, uncharted territory, and

2:15

now Paradise is looking like it's going to be the

2:17

exact same thing. Yeah, yeah. It looks

2:19

really good. I don't know about you, but watching

2:21

the past couple of nights, I feel like I was sweating while

2:24

watching so much was going on. Yeah. But

2:27

first, we have to talk about that Jed interview the other day.

2:30

I really wanna know your take on

2:32

it, Rachel. And that's coming up in just a minute right after

2:34

this.

2:38

Think You Know Diamonds? Probably not

2:40

as much as you think. More than a billion

2:42

years old, the natural diamond is still

2:44

very much a part of the present. Our

2:46

engagement ring, the gift from a partner,

2:49

or the jewelry we buy to celebrate a win

2:52

sparks a lot of joy. But did you know

2:54

that stone is connected to more than 10 million

2:56

people around the world From Canada to

2:58

Africa to Australia, the impact of

3:01

the natural diamond industry is huge, providing

3:03

healthcare, building schools, and roads

3:05

to remote communities worldwide. Your

3:07

natural diamond saves threatened species like

3:09

the African elephant from extinction

3:11

and protects more land than Paris,

3:14

London, and New York City combined. Each

3:16

natural diamond promises a more sparkling

3:18

future for generations to come. Discover

3:20

3:23

3:25

you. When

3:27

you think of Italy, you can't help

3:29

but think of the fashion, the culture,

3:31

the food, the storied history, and

3:33

of course, the shopping. There is a new

3:36

Italian lingerie brand who recently partnered

3:38

up with Jennifer Lopez that is made with gorgeous

3:41

fabrics, colorful silks, and

3:43

delicate lace. I've recently got a beautiful

3:45

matching lingerie set and the softest

3:48

silk pajamas that I feel like I'm wrapped

3:50

in a cloud when they're on me. But the name can

3:52

be a bit challenging to pronounce. Inter-

3:55

inter- Missy, inter-Missippi,

3:57

it's difficult,

3:59

but it's actually- into Missimi, the

4:01

art of Italian lingerie.

4:08

Alright, hey guys. So Jed sat down with

4:10

us last Friday for his first in-depth interview

4:13

since after the final rose and we got a

4:15

lot of feedback from you guys, the

4:17

listeners, on what you thought of the interview.

4:20

Yeah, I mean, I have to say, and paying attention

4:22

to what people were saying on social media and just in

4:25

the reviews. It seems like people were fairly

4:27

split in regards to their response

4:30

of Jed's interview. And so we got

4:32

some feedback. And so we want to read back from some

4:34

of the listeners who wanted to comment

4:36

on that interview. And at got a run 44

4:39

from Instagram said, quote,

4:41

listen, I'm a 64 year old

4:43

Nana here and I'm with you. Grace to

4:45

Jed, I'd die if my 20s were

4:48

plastered on media sites. We've all made

4:50

big

4:50

mistakes. That's right.

4:53

I agree. my 20s were not on

4:55

the show. It's funny, I listened back

4:57

to that interview that we did and

5:00

I agree with the split reviews. I agree that

5:02

maybe we could, like Rachel you

5:04

were pretty lawyer-esque on him, which I love about

5:06

you, but I agree I could have been harder on him at

5:09

places. So I mean, we hear you guys were listening

5:11

and we appreciate all of your

5:13

feedback. So then

5:16

another person wrote, and it's at GA4AU,

5:20

wrote, I am in no way trying

5:22

to be a bully, but I listened to your podcast and

5:24

I felt like Jed was still lying to y'all

5:27

about things. I don't think he

5:29

is authentic at all. I think people

5:31

would respect him more if he would just

5:34

be completely transparent. I just didn't

5:36

get that vibe at all.

5:39

I have to agree. I didn't either,

5:41

but we could talk about that later. I know, I guess

5:43

the thing is like, it was hard like Rachel, because

5:45

that was an emergency podcast, you called in,

5:47

but like, I have to say, there is something a

5:49

little bit different about sitting across from somebody

5:51

and looking them in the eye. and you

5:53

just get a different vibe. Like I feel like

5:56

when I listened back to it, I was like, oh, he doesn't sound

5:58

sincere, but when I was sitting in front of...

6:00

him and looking at him he did

6:02

i don't i it's hot it's hard to say it's

6:04

hard to know you're you're right alley it is hard and

6:06

i think what people don't understand as we're stuck

6:08

in a place of were try to ask the tough questions

6:11

but at the same time we're being professional middle

6:13

be can't just rain ham are

6:15

going on him we have to conduct this as an interview

6:17

and i know i felt like i was stuck in a place of being

6:20

wanting to be ruthless but then trying to

6:22

be professional at the same time okay one

6:24

more on yet emailed us at happy

6:26

hour at bats are nation dot com and you

6:28

guys can do the same if you have any questions

6:31

any comments please make sure

6:32

you email us at happy hour at bachelor

6:35

nation dot com but on your said

6:37

i just wanted to thank you all are

6:40

to thank you for a great interview with jet you

6:42

really clear the air with him and i and

6:44

i love that you ask real questions that challenge

6:47

to him i love your interview style and

6:49

how real you are keep up the good work

6:52

think he yeah we appreciate

6:54

that we do have read it and like

6:56

and like we've been saying you know of

6:59

past couple minutes we get that there was different opinions

7:01

that the are some people thought we were

7:03

too easy adam some people or really the

7:05

people that i was too easy on who's here's the

7:07

and c o m but you know

7:10

i hope that people understood in this is one

7:12

thing where i saw few comments the people thought maybe

7:14

we weren't you know being

7:16

fair to hand i want you guys

7:18

you know that in that interview and

7:20

just in life and hopefully hearsay and

7:22

his podcast we have nothing but the utmost respect

7:24

for hannah i'm just giving jed

7:27

some grace doesn't mean that we're not saying that

7:29

we were not you know on t

7:31

hanna's team it's all about hannah in that

7:33

situation as we're just trying to give get a platform

7:36

to tell his side

7:37

and i don't think that there's anything wrong with that

7:39

you know it just because we're giving someone off an

7:41

opportunity to tell their side of the story

7:43

or to ask tough questions doesn't mean that we

7:45

agree with them it just simply means

7:48

we're conducting an interview because

7:50

that is what we do on

7:51

pot on a podcast yeah you ask questions

7:53

and relevant you know to what's going

7:56

on and boucher nation and as much as you don't

7:58

want to admit it jet was

8:00

relevant at the time. Mm-hmm. Well,

8:02

also, it's like, I don't know, Rachel, when I listened

8:04

back to it, I remember at one point where he was talking

8:06

about the doc. And the

8:08

first time we asked him about it, he said that he was

8:10

just talking like BS. And then

8:12

the second time we asked him about it, he told us about the

8:15

meditation thing, right? If you

8:17

guys don't know what we're talking about, go back and listen to that

8:19

podcast. But I was like, oh, like

8:21

when I listened back to it, I was like, I wish that I called him on

8:23

that. Like, I wish that I said, hey, wait a second.

8:25

You just said you were talking BS. So it's

8:27

funny. You look back and you can even critique yourself.

8:29

Like

8:30

we're just having fun. We're just girls with some wine

8:32

and some microphones trying to, you

8:34

know, have a little bit of fun, get some answers

8:36

for you guys. And, you know, sometimes we're gonna

8:38

miss things, but hopefully not always. Hopefully we'll

8:40

really get into it well. I, it's funny

8:43

you mentioned the doc reference because I totally

8:45

Googled that and I couldn't find anything

8:47

in regards to what he was talking about at

8:49

all. Maybe he made it up. I

8:51

don't know, but I wonder, Ali,

8:53

because you know, you said you've had time to listen

8:56

to the interview that we had and you were able

8:58

to reflect on it. How do you feel

9:00

like coming into the interview with Jed,

9:02

did you feel any different coming out

9:04

of that interview? Did your thoughts on Jed

9:06

change in any way?

9:08

I mean, yeah, I think I

9:10

felt for him after

9:12

the interview, more so than I did going in.

9:14

I mean, I always kind of felt for him a little bit just

9:17

because as I explained in that podcast, I

9:20

feel like I was in his shoes in a way. But

9:23

yeah, I mean, I think having a sit down conversation

9:25

with anybody that feels remorseful, you're

9:27

gonna feel a little bit better about them coming out

9:29

of it. How did you feel?

9:31

I felt like I didn't believe

9:33

Jed coming into the interview and

9:36

after the interview,

9:38

I didn't believe him even more.

9:41

Oh, no! I

9:43

was really trying to be professional

9:46

in that interview because there were so many things

9:48

that I felt like I could pick apart in what he was saying.

9:51

But at the same time, I still stand by the

9:53

grace aspect of the interview. and I

9:55

do stand by not

9:57

kicking somebody while they're so down

9:59

and I do... appreciate that we were able to have that

10:02

important conversation about mental health

10:04

and the attacking people on social

10:06

media.

10:07

Yeah. But, and I do believe that in that

10:09

world on this journey, he loved

10:12

Hannah. I do believe that. But

10:14

I do wish that, remember we were asking him

10:16

about the comments of him liking and he gave

10:18

that pitiful explanation. Oh, come on. I

10:21

totally done that before. Ali, he

10:23

did it more than once. Oh, he did. I

10:25

didn't know. Yes. I went back and

10:27

I looked and I'm like, okay, once, get it. not

10:31

so much. So there were certain holes in his story. Oh,

10:33

if he did it more than once, then yeah, then that's probably

10:36

not true. But overall, I'm happy

10:38

with the way that we conducted the

10:39

interview as a whole. And I think

10:42

that we

10:42

were respectful and professional.

10:45

And that's how you should be sitting in our

10:47

seats because we know what it's like to be picked

10:50

on and to be praised. Totally. And I like

10:52

that you brought up the mental health aspect because I feel like that's

10:54

a good segue into Bachelor in Paradise. Cause

10:57

lots went on and as angry as I am

10:59

right now after

11:02

watching, you know, four hours of the show, by

11:04

the way, four hours every week. So there's going to be a lot to talk about.

11:07

But after watching everything with Blake, I

11:09

have to like dig down deep into

11:11

like my soul and

11:12

remember to give him

11:15

grace. I am very upset with him and

11:17

I'm going to say many things, but we have to remember again,

11:19

everybody out there when we're talking about Blake,

11:21

he is a real human being. He's obviously very

11:23

stressed about everything went down. So I

11:26

think I say we get into it, Rachel. Oh, let's

11:28

go. Okay. So

11:30

first, what do you think about the cast?

11:33

Okay, so I think

11:36

it's a little slim pickings

11:38

on

11:39

the side of the men. Oh man. I

11:41

just, I think that, and the men

11:44

have the power, you know, as we're

11:46

watching this week, they have the power to choose. I think because

11:48

it's slim pickings, they had to have the power. Yeah,

11:50

they did. I mean, the women are stunning,

11:53

the beautiful, and you can see it in the

11:56

way that the men are responding to them. as one by

11:58

one they continue to walk on the beach.

12:00

I do find interesting

12:02

that it's very clear. There's

12:04

like a hierarchy in Paradise. I feel

12:06

like more than other seasons, you've

12:09

got the king and the queens of Paradise, and

12:11

then other people just are getting no attention

12:14

whatsoever. And I feel like that there's a bigger

12:16

disparity in that this season than

12:18

in normal seasons. Yeah, well, I

12:20

mean, Blake is one of those kings of Paradise right

12:22

now. They keep referring to him as the Bachelor

12:25

of Paradise. I know. Because all the girls

12:27

are in him. So, I mean, let's... Oh, gosh, Blake. I

12:29

was so upset

12:31

watching the situation with Kaylin

12:34

and Christina and like, especially

12:36

when Kaylin like broke down in tears to him

12:39

and was just like,

12:40

I was your dirty secret and you were texting

12:42

other girls when we were in bed. Like it broke

12:44

my heart. I literally cried watching the episode

12:47

because I've been her and I know there are so

12:49

many other women out there who

12:51

have been in that situation, who have been made to feel

12:54

that way by a man. And I think Blake

12:56

showed remorse, But this is my problem

12:58

Rachel. Do you remember when he was like

13:00

sitting down doing the interview and he

13:02

was crying and He he

13:05

broke down sobbing and I felt for him in that

13:07

moment But I don't think he was crying because he genuinely

13:10

maybe he feels a little bit bad But when

13:12

he really broke down it was like my

13:14

family my reputation Like

13:16

I think he was crying because he knows no

13:19

more innocent Blake. Mm-hmm. Oh

13:22

Oh, Ali, I couldn't agree with you

13:24

more. Now I disagree

13:26

on Kaitlyn because this is what I, you

13:28

bring up a very

13:29

interesting point when you talk about tears.

13:32

Tears don't mean that somebody's remorseful.

13:35

A lot of times it could be embarrassed.

13:37

It could be that they got caught and they're

13:40

shamed. And I agree with you that that's

13:42

what we were seeing with Blake.

13:43

Now get ready for the beat button. Okay.

13:46

Because I'm going to have a few choice words here. Oh

13:48

man. I'm nervous. What the f*** was Blake

13:50

thinking? That was literally

13:53

my thought because

13:55

I

13:56

was such a fan of Blake. He

13:58

was my favorite from Becca's season. Me

14:00

too. My heart was

14:02

broken when he didn't, when she didn't

14:04

choose him and I've been rooting for him and

14:07

just a proponent of Blake ever since. Now

14:09

here comes Blake walking into Paradise thinking

14:12

he's the man. Obviously this, this

14:14

Bachelor of Paradise thing really got

14:16

to his head even before he walked on the beaches

14:18

of Paradise. Now I

14:21

don't, the reason I say what was Blake

14:23

thinking, how could

14:26

he not think that that dirt

14:29

that he, you know, all that drama

14:31

he created before wasn't going to follow him into

14:33

Paradise. Have you watched

14:35

any show on The Bachelor? And now you think

14:38

that you were just going to end it because you were,

14:40

quote, trying to do the right thing?

14:42

No, Blake, you were trying to,

14:45

as I think, can't remember who it came out with Christina

14:48

or if it came out with, um,

14:50

Kalyn, that he said, you

14:52

know, she felt like, I think it was Christina when she was talking

14:54

to Tayshia. And Christina said, you

14:57

know what, I feel like, or Tayshia said it sounds

14:59

like he was trying to kind

15:00

of tie up loose ends before he walked

15:03

into Paradise. Totally. Literally told

15:05

Christina about Kalen right before

15:07

coming on the show. Exactly. It's

15:09

like even he said, I think to one of the guys, maybe Willis,

15:11

he was like, oh, I guess I didn't tell her soon enough.

15:13

Well, yeah, if you didn't tell her and then waited till

15:16

a few days before coming on Paradise and then told

15:18

her, I'd say you didn't tell her soon enough. And

15:20

I think he's just being so naive and

15:22

dumb to think that you can have relations with

15:24

a woman and that no feelings are going

15:27

to be attached. I think for Blake it was,

15:29

hey, I'm out here, I'm fun, I'm trying to have a good

15:31

time. And Kaitlyn probably

15:34

tried to play it cool, but I have never

15:36

met a female who can be intimate

15:38

with a man and not have feelings attached.

15:41

So that is Blake's bad for not realizing

15:43

that. Well, especially because they dated for so long,

15:45

they FaceTime three times a day. I don't believe

15:48

that. Now here's, this is where we disagree. Okay,

15:50

so yeah, cause you said you weren't sure about Kaitlyn. Back

15:53

up there, where, what are you saying? I don't

15:56

a hundred percent believe Kaitlyn.

15:58

Cause here's my thing. You gotta...

16:00

not listen to what people say, you gotta watch

16:02

how they move. And I watched how

16:04

Kaitlyn moved this week throughout

16:06

Paradise. You know, she comes

16:08

in, she literally came in as Hurricane Kaitlyn,

16:11

right? She was intentional. I

16:13

do believe that she and Blake agreed, okay,

16:15

you know what? What happened before Paradise

16:18

stays out of it, but she came

16:21

immediately, guns a-blazing, ready

16:23

to tear stuff up and mess

16:26

Blake's life up, which I kind of believe

16:28

Blake when he was caught off guard

16:30

and didn't think that was that was fair of her

16:32

or Christina to do. I'm with you. I'm

16:35

with you. Like I do think that she

16:37

and Blake, Kaitlyn and Blake came to an understanding that

16:39

it was not going to be talked about here and then

16:42

she kind of blindsided him and talked about it here

16:44

but I don't think that was her plan. I

16:47

think she thought she could come in and be all cool. She

16:49

got there, saw him, realized she still

16:51

has crazy feelings for him and just

16:54

lost it. Let me tell you what Hurricane Kaitlyn

16:56

did. Hurricane Kaitlyn came

16:58

in and she said,

17:00

you know what, I just want

17:02

to lay it all out here. I just want to

17:04

tell him like it is. I just want this secret

17:06

to be out. Girl, then

17:08

why didn't you go up

17:10

to Blake and just confront him

17:13

and figure out how y'all wanted to navigate paradise

17:15

so you could clear the air? Instead,

17:18

she wanted to divulge their private

17:20

information to any ears that would listen

17:22

and any camera that would film her. She told

17:24

Unyeka. She told Wells, she

17:27

told Siggy. You're gonna remember what it's like

17:29

to be in the Bachelor world. She was

17:31

walking around the beach telling anybody

17:34

that would listen. And then I did not

17:36

like that she told Christina's

17:38

business.

17:38

Now, granted, I'm biased, okay? Christina's

17:41

my girl. But don't you think it was Christina's

17:43

business to tell that she slept with Blake? That

17:45

wasn't Caitlin's business to tell. Caitlin said, oh,

17:48

I slept with him. And oh, by the way, the

17:50

night before, so did this girl. rather

17:52

than this could have been like a a women

17:54

empowerment moment where once

17:57

you saw Christina come you guys could

17:59

have confronted him. gather you could have teamed

18:01

up and confront of blake rather than

18:03

you were kind of talking shit about

18:05

christina an blake

18:08

instead of confronting the people who were involved

18:10

and then you say you felt so bad

18:12

for taisho yet you never

18:14

went to taser to tell her but

18:17

i don't understand and what didn't want

18:19

to be the one to paint ages opinion

18:21

like i just don't think that we can be so

18:23

mad at kayla like kalan in my opinion

18:26

is the victim here ah

18:27

i'm a i'm hour i

18:30

i think that there are a victim of a guy that

18:32

messed with them played with their hearts play you a

18:34

both christina and and i don't think she was trying

18:37

to been to say something negative about cuisine

18:39

issues very clear that he that blake

18:41

mess with both of them and how that was

18:43

wrong but don't you think that wouldn't you be of said

18:46

emily it was coming but wouldn't you

18:48

that is that make it any better wouldn't you be upset

18:50

if someone told people that about

18:52

your relations

18:53

with another man yeah i

18:55

guess out your teammate without your permission aim

18:57

at it was you mad you the name it was

18:59

and i'm not excusing blake let me just be clear

19:02

i think we're blake did is wrong and i think blake

19:04

was stupid to think that that wouldn't follow him into

19:06

paradise he knew christina

19:08

was coming he probably had an idea

19:10

the kalan was coming and then let's not even

19:12

talk about that he was talking to hannah g before

19:15

as well so blake is

19:17

wrong and how he and his whole situation

19:19

but i don't think aliens hands

19:22

are clean in this

19:23

sheikh she is being

19:25

vengeful she's upset with the way

19:27

the blake treat treated her and rightfully so

19:30

i just regular to a girl thrown under

19:32

the bus because he screwed you

19:34

over a castle is how i feel well

19:36

let's say let's stay on the kalan train

19:39

k because we got we have four

19:41

hours of bachelor in paradise to watch this week

19:43

the anti week kalan

19:46

spent the majority of her time

19:48

talking stuff about blake

19:51

right rather than getting to know other people

19:53

which kind of back fired because

19:55

up here we are it's a night a role ceremony

19:58

and all of a sudden She's

20:00

spent so much time talking about Blake and that

20:02

drama that it's like, who's gonna give you a rose?

20:04

Because it's definitely not been- And she kissed Cam. Ew.

20:08

Exactly. Now, let's go back to what I was saying about

20:10

unclean hands and being

20:12

manipulative. Now, was that not the

20:14

most manipulative move for her to kiss-

20:17

How everybody does that in Paradise? That's

20:19

one of my problems with Paradise is we see

20:21

people going in and trying to get kisses and it's

20:23

gross. I never thought I would say this,

20:25

but poor Cam. Cam's like, I've been

20:28

waiting. I've been wanting to come meet

20:30

Kalen. This has been, you know, I'm so excited

20:32

for this. And Kalen is just playing him like

20:34

a fiddle, talking about, who are

20:37

you? Who are you? I bet next

20:39

week Kalen doesn't pay,

20:41

give two seconds of attention to

20:43

Cam. I'm with you. Talk

20:45

about just trying to like pity Rosa, since

20:48

that was a narrative that surrounded Cam. It

20:50

was really sad and it was manipulative. And I'm telling

20:52

you, you gotta watch- What about JPJ and Amiga?

20:55

You're telling me that wasn't also the same

20:57

situation? They're bras. They're

21:01

just friends. I mean, they're

21:03

nothing romantic. Watching that kiss, I was cringing.

21:06

I was just like, oh, this is

21:08

also that situation. So I don't think we can blame Kaitlyn

21:10

for that because I think everybody does that on Paradise

21:13

when they realize

21:14

they're in jeopardy. We see these desperate

21:17

attempts at getting roses and

21:19

I feel like she will not be the first and she

21:21

will not be the last to do it. But yes,

21:23

I agree, that was not great. Okay, let's switch

21:25

gears really quick, because another thing that

21:28

I just think is so worth talking about,

21:30

and really, we briefly mentioned

21:32

it earlier in the podcast, but it's just

21:34

Demi. Demi being

21:37

open and honest about her relationship with a

21:39

woman before coming on the show,

21:41

and about who she chooses to love. I feel like this

21:43

is so huge for Bachelor

21:46

Nation, not only Bachelor Nation, but just our culture

21:48

in general. Bachelor is so ingrained in our culture,

21:51

So I feel like it's

21:53

so great that this storyline

21:56

is coming out on the show. Yeah,

21:58

what I like about it is it's reflective of

22:00

real life. A lot of times, the Bachelor franchise

22:03

gets knocked because what

22:05

we see on TV doesn't reflect

22:08

real life. And it is very real for

22:10

someone to have a relationship

22:13

with the same sex. And so I love

22:15

that we're going to see Demi

22:18

explore this uncharted territory that we've never

22:20

seen in the Bachelor franchise. And

22:22

I think that it also takes a really strong person

22:24

to be the first to do it. And so

22:27

that's why I'm glad it's going to be Demi.

22:29

Because Demi, even though she's one of the

22:32

youngest people, she represents herself

22:34

so well. She's so well spoken. She

22:36

knows who she is and she is very aware.

22:40

And sadly, we don't see a lot of that in Bachelor franchise.

22:42

And so Demi is the right person

22:45

to

22:45

be able to

22:46

do this and to stand on this platform.

22:48

And so I'm so excited to see her journey

22:51

and to see where it takes us. Absolutely.

22:54

Like in the teaser at one point, I can't

22:56

remember exactly when it was, but we see that she

22:59

does end up with, or not end up with, but she

23:01

at some point is with a woman in paradise.

23:04

So we're going to see her journey

23:07

and you know, she was seeing Derek and then at some

23:09

point she's seeing a woman. So I think it's

23:11

really cool that we're going to see both sides of

23:13

it and I agree. I think Demi's the perfect person

23:16

to

23:16

do this because she is so

23:18

well spoken. Like I love how when

23:21

Annalise was talking about confronting Kay,

23:23

Demi was just like, why did you do

23:25

that? Like, and she's just, I love how

23:28

just straightforward she is, it's no BS

23:30

with her, it's right to the point. And I think she is going

23:32

to just

23:34

show herself, really make herself

23:36

proud this season because she's doing an incredible

23:39

thing for so many young men

23:41

and women, not even young, young, old,

23:44

man, woman, whoever you are, she's

23:47

going to not only help people,

23:49

but I think she's going to save lives telling her

23:51

story. Absolutely. And I think that, you

23:53

know, we only got a tease of what's

23:55

to come in regards to Demi's journey

23:57

in paradise. And so I want to see.

24:00

if

24:00

we can get some more inside scoop.

24:02

So I'm so excited that we actually get to

24:04

talk to her best friend about this entire

24:06

situation because from what we can see, Hannah

24:09

came to paradise. She got to talk to Demi and I'm sure

24:11

she knows a little bit more than what has been shown

24:13

too. So maybe we can poke her a bit and

24:15

find out more about what's going on with Demi. And

24:17

we're gonna talk to Hannah in a bit. She'll be on

24:20

the phone with us, but right after this.

26:36

We are so excited to have Hannah

26:38

with us on the phone. Hannah, welcome to

26:40

the podcast. Hey,

26:43

I'm excited to be here. We

26:45

are so excited to have you. Now we've been

26:47

talking about you before we've had you on the

26:49

podcast. So it's nice to actually have this sit down

26:51

and interview you and don't worry, it's been all positive

26:54

things cause we're fans over here. My ears

26:56

have been burning. We got to. But

27:00

one of the things we were talking about before you jumped on

27:02

the phone, obviously Paradise

27:04

that started this week and there's a

27:06

lot to get into when it comes to that.

27:08

But one of the big conversations is Demi

27:11

and we know that that's your best friend. So

27:13

tell us about your friendship with Demi because I think one

27:15

of the beautiful things that comes out of this entire Bachelor

27:17

franchise are the friendships that you develop

27:20

that kind of surprise you along the way.

27:22

Oh yeah, I will definitely

27:24

say that my friendship with Demi surprised

27:27

me a lot because the

27:30

first night I met Demi, she

27:34

scared me to say the least. I was like,

27:37

why? Oh my gosh, she was just so over the top. I

27:42

mean, that first night at Colton,

27:44

when we

27:47

met each other all at the first night,

27:50

Colton season and I was like, okay, I'm

27:52

staying away from that girl, which is

27:55

so funny. She's like my best friend. And

27:57

I was like, I

27:57

I don't have that. not

28:00

really feeling this thing, but I was terrified

28:02

the first few days I did not talk to anybody,

28:05

which is now

28:07

crazy because I was then the crazy

28:09

girl on that show. But um

28:11

I don't remember exactly

28:13

how we started talking. I think we

28:16

went on a group date

28:20

together and then we just like fell

28:23

in love with each other. Like okay we're gonna be best

28:25

friends. We're gonna take over the world. I think

28:28

I started like kind of letting my personality

28:30

out a little bit more and then we

28:33

just buddyed up from there and I was like, okay, this

28:35

girl is so cool,

28:38

so funny. And it's not, I thought

28:40

she was kind of like putting on a show. And I think a lot of

28:42

people think that like,

28:44

because she has this, this bold

28:47

personality and she just says whatever

28:49

she's thinking, people think it's just for her to get

28:51

attention.

28:53

But it's not. It is. That

28:55

is her. how she is all

28:57

the time. And I thought

28:59

the same thing until I was with her all

29:02

the time and realized that that's just

29:04

who she is. And I will give her credit

29:07

to even helping me

29:09

along my journey of just

29:11

being able to kind of

29:13

break the mold that I tried to put

29:16

myself in of just always trying

29:18

to say the right thing and, you know,

29:20

not say anything at all. If I don't, you

29:22

you know, have anything to say

29:24

that I'm scared people might,

29:27

you know, not

29:30

agree with, but being a friend, having

29:32

a friend like Demi kind of allows you

29:34

to feel confident to just say

29:37

whatever you're feeling. And

29:40

yeah, she's just so

29:42

awesome, so supportive. We

29:46

just have a really

29:48

good time together. And I'm just really blessed

29:51

by her support and love and that

29:53

I'm able to give that back to her. And I

29:57

know that we'll be friends forever. I love

29:59

it. you

30:00

said like, you know, you guys fell in love with each

30:02

other, like friendships at the beginning. Cause

30:04

I always say that when people are like, the bachelor and bachelor

30:06

doesn't result in love, like that often. I'm

30:08

like, no, there are so many like relationships,

30:11

the loves of my life are my girlfriends that

30:13

like I met from the show. So I love that you said that. Cause

30:15

he always has love coming out of the show. Demi

30:18

and I would, would joke

30:20

as we watched the show on Colton season, they'd be

30:22

like, actually the best love

30:24

story that's come out of the show is us. That's

30:28

what we used to say too. Yeah,

30:30

I feel like it's me and you,

30:32

Demi. And

30:34

I love that people love our friendship because we

30:36

are just so supportive of each other. And

30:38

if anybody's trolling her, I've got

30:41

her back. If anybody's beaming to

30:43

me, she's got mine. As it

30:45

should be. Yeah.

30:47

She's the best. So we

30:49

see Demi on Bachelor of Paradise

30:51

come chat with you and open up

30:53

to you about her sexuality, Which

30:57

was that the first time that she had talked to you about

30:59

it? No, we,

31:01

we had talked about

31:03

it before, after

31:07

this Colton season. But

31:10

I always knew that she

31:13

was very open to

31:16

many different types of relationships.

31:19

And so it

31:21

wasn't really a surprise for

31:23

me when we

31:25

had that conversation that everyone saw

31:27

on the first episode of Bachelor in Paradise

31:30

because I knew that she had had relationships

31:34

in the past. And I

31:37

am supportive of whatever makes Demi happy.

31:40

And I want her to

31:42

have the best experience the

31:45

best experience on

31:47

Bachelor in Paradise, however that may

31:50

be, if that's with a guy, if that's with a girl,

31:52

I am just looking forward to Demi finding

31:55

somebody that she can see spending the rest of her

31:57

life with and whoever that is.

32:00

I just hope that we can get along because we're going

32:02

to be, have to be best friends too. So

32:06

yeah, so it wasn't really a surprise for

32:08

me. But it also,

32:11

I don't

32:13

know, like

32:15

it wasn't something like we just always talked about,

32:18

but I was surprised that she was

32:21

openly talking about it with everyone because it's not

32:23

like she was hiding it, but Right.

32:25

It was a big deal to bring it up. Exactly.

32:28

It was more of that. like it wasn't she

32:30

didn't have to bring it up for

32:32

the world to know. And so

32:34

I think that's what's so

32:36

amazing and courageous about Demi

32:39

is that she is taking

32:42

her personal life. That's really something

32:44

that a lot of people are that

32:47

resonates with a lot

32:49

of people and kind of bringing that to light and

32:52

that's so strong and so brave of her.

32:54

And I

32:55

think it's awesome. It's bringing a

32:58

conversation into

33:01

the Bachelor franchise that I feel like needed to happen

33:04

and showing different types of relationships. So

33:06

really proud of her in that way too. Well,

33:08

you answered my next question that I was going to ask

33:11

you about what do you think this means for the future of

33:13

the franchise just because the franchise gets knocked

33:15

for not being diverse on so many different levels.

33:17

Hashtag Mike for Bachelor. And I

33:19

think that Do

33:22

you think that with this what

33:24

Demi is doing that she's maybe setting,

33:27

you know, something

33:28

new, something new is bound to happen

33:30

in the bachelor franchise that maybe her

33:32

example will allow other people to come

33:34

out and maybe we'll see more type of relationships

33:38

that mirror this?

33:39

Yeah, absolutely. I mean, I'll even

33:41

and I'm not saying like, Oh, look

33:43

at me my season, but I think

33:46

it really shows where the direction

33:48

of just the franchise is going talking like

33:50

we're talking about sex openly. about

33:52

faith. We're talking about, and

33:55

this has been happening for a while, we've been moving the

33:58

needle in the right direction. for

34:00

a while, but it's really now. It's

34:02

like we're changing

34:04

the game now, truly

34:06

with Demi in her relationship.

34:09

And I think

34:11

watching this season

34:14

of Bachelor in Paradise unfold will

34:18

kind of show us where this franchise

34:20

is going. And I hope we continue to not

34:23

just fantasize

34:28

about what love is because love can be

34:30

messy. And it's not

34:32

just this cookie cutter thing of this

34:36

perfect fairy tale. I mean,

34:38

there is going to be drama,

34:41

but it's not always just like this

34:43

caddy drama. It's trying to figure out

34:46

what you want in life, who you love,

34:48

why you love them. And it

34:51

might be different than something that you've

34:53

ever had before. And

34:55

what conversations go into play

34:57

about trying to figure that out and let's

35:00

stop like going beating

35:02

it around the bush because it might be something

35:04

controversial. Like if this is gonna be real

35:06

life, true love stories,

35:08

then let's talk about real life

35:11

stuff. Yeah, and how you say love

35:13

is messy, I mean, one thing too, and I think

35:16

you said, you know, Demi's been there for you throughout your

35:18

journey as the bachelor, which is so beautiful, but

35:20

like you're gonna, unfortunately, we

35:22

live in a world where not everybody's gonna be nice.

35:25

and you're gonna have to be right back there for

35:27

her because she's gonna deal with a lot this season.

35:30

I think she is so brave and

35:32

I know she's not talking about her sexuality necessarily

35:35

to like to

35:38

do anything. She's doing it for herself, I would assume,

35:40

right? But she is going to change so many lives.

35:42

She's gonna help so many people but she's also

35:44

going to face so much

35:47

criticism which is awful but

35:49

she's gonna need you right there for her and through all

35:51

of that. Are you worried as her friend like

35:54

what she's about to face. Uh,

35:59

I know about the criticism can be. I mean,

36:01

you can look at my Instagram

36:03

or any social, there's 20,000 comments

36:09

of just pure, just

36:12

mean people just wanting to put

36:15

out some their opinions about something they don't

36:17

even know and they don't even know me and she's

36:19

gonna get, yeah, she's gonna get it too.

36:21

But for

36:24

me, I, first

36:26

of all, I didn't have time to look at that stuff. So

36:28

I guess they were just doing it for their own good, because I

36:30

really didn't have time. I was too busy doing

36:33

my own thing. But

36:36

I think

36:38

that she is such a strong woman that, yeah,

36:43

could it sting a little bit? Sure.

36:46

But she's going to be coming

36:48

out on top with this, and I'm going

36:50

to be there for her. And yes,

36:53

it's going to be over different topics.

36:56

in our relationships and what we're

36:58

going through on the show or this

37:01

franchise has been different. But I'm

37:03

glad that in a way there's

37:05

a silver lining to me having

37:08

been through a lot of criticism because

37:10

I can

37:12

truly relate to her and be there for her.

37:15

And sometimes you just need somebody to like,

37:18

you don't need people to say, I'm so sorry

37:21

and feel bad for you. You just need somebody to

37:23

just sit there with you and

37:25

freaking throw things at walls

37:28

or

37:29

make fun of the people who

37:31

think they know what they're talking about. It's not, you

37:33

don't need somebody

37:35

to make you feel,

37:37

oh, poor me. And I think that's how she is too.

37:40

We need to like rally around

37:42

like, we're doing the best thing for

37:44

ourselves. And I know she's doing the best thing for

37:47

her happiness and I'll be there through

37:50

it thick and thin. Hannah,

37:53

other than Demi, because I know you're watching

37:55

Paradise, who else? else

37:58

because some of your guys are a few.

38:00

Your guys actually are on paradise this week

38:02

when it's some of the first people to hit the beach Who

38:04

else are you excited to hopefully

38:07

see fine love in paradise? I'm

38:12

excited. Don't you dare say

38:14

JPJ?

38:20

Don't

38:22

know if JPJ knows what he's there to

38:24

find on the beach After watching

38:27

this week. Maybe some board shorts. Look,

38:32

I love when JPJ is

38:34

on my television screen. And he is... The

38:38

conversations that I had with him were

38:41

always so fascinating. I don't know

38:43

what planet he's from. He doesn't either.

38:46

So I don't think he'll find another alien

38:48

to love.

38:50

But

38:52

I don't know. I mean, of course, like

38:54

Mike and I had

38:56

a great relationship. And

38:58

so I want happiness for him.

39:00

And so I hope that he can find

39:02

somebody that he's- Rachel doesn't

39:04

want him to meet somebody and that's her in paradise.

39:07

Yeah, Hannah, let's talk about that. I

39:09

mean, seriously, cause everybody gets asked this

39:11

question about how you feel about your guys being

39:14

the bachelor. Like who, who do you

39:16

want to be the next bachelor?

39:19

Just say it. No, I- You won't

39:21

hurt anybody's feelings, just say it. No, because I don't

39:23

I I think that Peter or Mike

39:26

would be good great. I think maybe totally

39:28

different seasons

39:30

So it's a hundred percent Yeah,

39:33

this is my thought Rachel remember when we talked about

39:35

this at our first podcast Um, I

39:37

said that I wanted it to be Peter very

39:39

strongly because I didn't feel like

39:42

we knew Mike well enough Well, here's the thing

39:44

Mike's gonna be on paradise. No, we're

39:46

gonna get a chance to know my eye So

39:49

if Mike holds up, I

39:51

could see myself getting on the mic for Bachelor Train

39:53

if we get to know him better. I definitely

39:55

have opinions on that but I'll reserve

39:57

them while we have Hannah here

40:00

ask more questions of Hannah. So yeah, I

40:02

found it quite interesting that you didn't

40:04

mention Tyler as so you don't

40:06

think he would be a good bachelor. He's

40:09

not my pick. So I mean, I agree with you at

40:11

this point. You don't think Tyler would be a good bachelor. I

40:15

mean, I think he is. is,

40:20

I mean, I think

40:22

he likes to date around, so maybe he would be

40:25

a good bachelor. I

40:32

mean, I'm

40:34

trying not to go there, but you're kind of opening

40:36

the doors for us. I

40:40

mean, at this point, I mean, he is, he

40:42

has been on some dates. I'm sure you've heard about

40:45

them. I don't know if you care to even comment

40:47

on them or talk about them. But

40:49

I guess my question is like, and

40:52

again, if you don't want to go there, you don't have to. We want

40:54

to be completely respectful of you. But

40:57

you had a date with him, which

40:59

we all saw. Like, do you feel at all

41:01

a little bit hurt by like him going on

41:03

dates right after that? Um.

41:09

Let me think of how I want to answer

41:11

this. Yeah, think of it. I,

41:14

he

41:15

has every

41:17

right to do whatever he wants to

41:21

because we were,

41:26

you know, just hanging out,

41:28

seeing where it goes.

41:32

And I am completely fine with that.

41:35

And,

41:39

you know, I think. I think.

41:41

But just because he had the right doesn't mean it doesn't

41:44

hurt. Well, yeah. Kind of like the Blake situation,

41:46

he had the right to sleep with Kaylin and then sleep with

41:48

Christina the next day. They weren't, he wasn't in an exclusive

41:50

relationship, but that doesn't mean it's not hurtful. Yeah,

41:52

totally. I think

41:55

it's more of like private conversations. It

41:57

was a little... confusing,

42:01

but um, you know, he can

42:03

do whatever he wants to and I know that

42:06

I can too and I am

42:09

going to continue going

42:13

onward and upward and I

42:16

just, I just think that, you

42:18

know, I've made it very clear, which sometimes

42:20

like,

42:21

I have no shame of saying that I

42:23

have been very honest like yeah I have

42:25

feelings totally did totally

42:28

still have

42:29

still have feelings but at

42:32

the same time I

42:35

am not tied to any

42:37

man or tied to Tyler and

42:40

I'm not going to be and

42:42

everything that I said that I feel like I want

42:44

deserve and the type of

42:46

respect that I want from a man. I

42:49

still believe that and I

42:51

still am going to hold those

42:53

standards for any man in my life

42:56

and so I'm going to

42:58

wait on a man to give me that. Good

43:00

for you, Hannah. Okay, you guys, we have more

43:02

with Hannah coming up right after this.

44:23

I'm going to be on the show.

44:26

I'm going to be on the show. I'm going to be

44:28

on the

44:29

show. I'm going to be on the show. I'm going to

44:31

be on the show. I'm going to be on the show. Let me say something

44:33

real quick about time. Go ahead,

44:35

girl. Cause I got your

44:37

back

44:37

when it comes to this. Now, Ally and I have talked

44:40

about this

44:41

before. It's the lead who determines

44:43

how. Quote unquote cool. Somebody

44:45

is right. You're

44:48

the person to take them as far. You would have

44:50

sent Tyler home night one. So it is you

44:53

technically who got him to where he is. It

44:56

is you, Hannah, that got him the two

44:58

million followers that he has at the moment. And

45:00

I'm sorry. I think it's

45:02

a little bit disrespectful

45:05

that he,

45:06

listen, you're in the public eye, right? People freaking

45:08

know where you live at this point. You're learning

45:10

it the hard and fast way about

45:13

what it's like to be thrown in this

45:15

whole mess. So now people

45:17

know where you live. They've taken pictures of you guys

45:19

hanging out, Something you guys wanted to keep private

45:22

is now out here on Front Street. Tyler's

45:24

aware of that as well. Now he's going on a world

45:26

tour dating people in

45:28

public. Like, I guess I find it disrespectful. It's

45:31

kind of like, bruh, slow your role. You

45:33

preach, you're on Twitter, you know, talking

45:35

about Hannah's

45:36

the queen and preaching, you know, about

45:38

respect. But then you're being a little disrespectful

45:41

by dating her in such a public

45:43

or dating other people in such a public

45:46

way where you know it's going to get so much attention.

45:48

I think that's my beef with it.

45:51

I think that's my beef with it too. Yeah, girl.

45:53

Yeah, girl. You know, we talk about this. I

45:55

won't let you have to say the nasty stuff. I'll say

45:57

it for you. I'll say it for you, but I think that that.

46:00

that's

46:00

what really bothers me when

46:02

it comes to how he's handling this he's

46:04

fully aware he's fully aware of what's

46:06

going on and what yeah, and the thing is

46:09

I I think

46:11

it is

46:12

like I have no problem with

46:16

you know we we're not

46:19

dating dating at all we hung

46:21

out.

46:23

But we also have conversations

46:26

of

46:26

both like

46:28

knowing that there's still something there. And

46:31

when you have,

46:33

when you are in the public eye, you do have to just be

46:35

respectful of each other. And

46:40

yeah, I wish I would have got a little bit more than

46:42

two days,

46:45

but you know, it is okay. It

46:47

is okay. And you're gonna

46:49

be just fine. And I'm sure you're getting a lot

46:52

of attention from other people. And

46:54

I know you've been getting a lot of support

46:57

from other celebrities, just

47:00

fans of the show, about your nation. You've

47:02

turned a lot of people into fans when

47:04

it comes to this franchise because you've had such a successful

47:06

season. I'm just curious as

47:08

to who has been the person or celebrity

47:10

you've been most excited to hear from to

47:13

support you as you're going through all of this. Oh,

47:17

God, there's been a lot that would have

47:19

been, what have

47:21

been, I don't, I mean,

47:24

it's just crazy that like, these

47:26

people watch the show, first of all, and then

47:29

like fans of mine, but

47:30

Demi Lovato has been

47:33

like my girl, she has supported

47:36

me so much. Her mom is my

47:39

West Coast mom now. And so I would say, for

47:42

sure, Demi. I mean,

47:44

two Demis are better than one so I got

47:46

I got my two girls but I

47:49

would

47:51

I'm just really glad to have a lot

47:53

of women that are so

47:56

empowered

47:59

by. themselves to help me

48:01

in this time where I'm just taking

48:03

on this new

48:04

life and just I can learn

48:11

a lot from her and how she's handled

48:13

her ups and downs in life and just staying

48:16

still like an empowered young

48:19

female. So.

48:20

Speaking of taking things on, would you consider

48:22

taking on Dancing with the Stars? Oh,

48:26

yeah. That was... Yeah.

48:29

Yeah, I would love to do that. I think that'd

48:31

be so fun. And did

48:33

you do dance? Yeah, I feel like you're

48:35

a dancer. I danced. I danced, God, since

48:38

I was like two years old and then

48:41

through high school, I danced

48:44

all the time at a

48:46

dance studio. So definitely

48:49

have a few tricks up my sleeve

48:54

if I was to compete

48:56

for that Mira Ball trophy. But I

48:59

don't know, I think it would be a really good way for

49:01

me to

49:03

put my energy into something else right

49:05

now. And I'm

49:08

really, I can be competitive. And so

49:10

I know that I would like give it my all, but

49:12

we'll see.

49:13

How are you feeling just in general? Cause Hannah

49:15

you've gone through so much. Like obviously

49:18

we're all past bachelorette here. Like

49:20

we've all been there, but like I feel like you

49:22

have really gone through a lot, especially

49:24

with how things ended and everything. Like how

49:27

are you? Like how's your mental health? so

49:29

funny because sometimes

49:32

how I I handle stuff

49:34

it I don't know if it's healthy or not. But

49:36

there are days where I don't ever think I don't think

49:39

about it, I just like truck through and I'm like just

49:42

singing some was that but not thinking about

49:44

like anything I just just

49:47

love in life. And this is definitely

49:49

the way to do it. And

49:51

then there are days that I are

49:53

just moments that I'm like

49:55

Oh my gosh, what just

49:57

happened to me? What have I just

49:59

been- Did I just fight for wars?

50:03

Yes, you did. It's

50:06

been really hard. I'm not even going to pretend

50:08

like it hasn't been. There's

50:11

so many layers

50:13

to what's

50:14

been hard. There

50:17

are

50:19

days where I want to give myself

50:21

a pity party and then there are days where I'm like, I'm

50:24

such a

50:26

bad... I don't know if I can say... You

50:28

can say that. I'm such a

50:30

badass. There's some days that I'm like,

50:33

golly, you have grown

50:35

so much that you can handle this and

50:37

just keep on trucking.

50:40

And you're about to do so many incredible things. I'm

50:42

giving myself pep talks like, dang,

50:45

you just rocked that, you just killed that. But

50:48

then the next day I'm still like, oh my God,

50:50

that was terrible. I mean,

50:53

it's just like such a back and forth, but

50:55

I think I'm actually processing it the

50:57

best way because it's

50:59

okay to be upset, it's okay

51:02

to be mad, and it's okay to

51:04

be hopeful for the future, and I'm feeling all those

51:06

things, but I'm trying

51:08

to make sure that the hope is the thing that

51:12

outweighs the other stuff. Oh,

51:14

you're killing it, Hannah. I'm not even concerned

51:17

about you. Definitely continue to talk

51:19

to yourself because that's a sign of genius and

51:21

insanity, and I think

51:24

everybody should do it. I talk to myself all the time. Because

51:27

you have been so much, and Ali asked such a great

51:29

question

51:29

in regards to that, and just checking on you

51:31

and your mental health and how you're doing, what

51:34

advice would you give to future

51:36

bachelorettes? Because a

51:38

lot of people have talked about how relatable you

51:41

were, how they've been through something similar

51:43

to what you went through. And I

51:45

think that people will look to you

51:47

as to how they can navigate this

51:50

if they step in this role as bachelorettes. So what

51:52

advice would you give?

51:53

Forget

51:57

that you're on. a

52:00

TV show

52:01

and maybe that, yeah, I guess

52:03

that's hard. But I

52:05

was always

52:08

really concerned about,

52:12

okay, I'm looking for a husband. So

52:15

if I'm looking for a husband, it's my own

52:17

for the rest of my life with, I can't be

52:19

trying to put on a persona for

52:21

everybody else. So what

52:24

would I do if it was

52:26

just me with trying

52:29

to go on dates. And

52:32

the only way that I could do that was to shut everything

52:34

out

52:35

and to be my

52:37

real true self because

52:39

I didn't want at the end of the day to

52:43

have a man get down on

52:45

me and then the next day be

52:48

like, okay. So all that was really

52:50

just for

52:52

camera, but this is actually me. I

52:54

didn't want that to happen. So the whole time I just

52:57

stayed

52:58

completely treating myself, whether that was goofy,

53:02

embarrassing, a little bit of a bitch,

53:04

I didn't care. Like that's who I am. So

53:07

you either love that or you don't. And

53:09

if you don't, then you can get out.

53:11

And I think that's what you have to

53:13

do if you're the bachelorette, you're really taking it seriously

53:16

like I was and how you should be. It's

53:20

take advantage of the opportunity that

53:22

you have to really find somebody that wants

53:24

to be with you forever

53:26

and show them you. And

53:28

then hopefully you'll get somebody

53:30

true

53:31

and showing their real true

53:34

self in return.
