Chinese history and folk stories EP13: Confucius Tours the Surrounding Countries

Confucius tours the surrounding countries with his students in hopes that a King would employ his philosophy in ruling. He had little luck and returned to his home country. He focused on teaching and had taught over 3,000 students. Later in his life he published the Spring and Autumn Annals, the first history literature of its kind. His students collected his teachings in an anthology which became the Analects widely known today.
