I was shot nine times. It was a miracle that I survived. I spent many days in the hospital recovering from my injuries. During that time, I had a lot of time to reflect on my life. I had been living in a state of denial, pretending like everything was okay. But now that I was faced with death, I realized that I needed to make some changes. One of the things that I realized was that I needed to get help for my mental health. I had been struggling with depression and anxiety for a long time and I hadn't been dealing with it. A Life coach was something that had always intimidated me, but I decided to give it a try.It was one of the best decisions that I ever made. The Life coach helped me to deal with my emotions and to see things in a different light. He showed me that it was okay to be vulnerable and that it was okay to ask for help. Most importantly, he helped me to see that my life was worth living. After all, I had survived being shot nine times. There was no reason why I couldn't continue to live my life and make a difference in the world. Now I'm a Certified life coach helping other people improve their mental health. In my podcast, I discuss different topics related to mental health and offer advice on how to improve your mental wellbeing. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, or another mental health issue, my podcast is here to help.By supporting The Balancing Changes With Herk Podcast you are helping provide services to people in need of guidance.
