The city of Alameda is pulling the plug on an unusual experiment on the USS Hornet, citing public health concerns.  

As of today, motorists will be dealing with some delays on Highway 17.

The life of the late Cecil Williams was celebrated at San Francisco’s Glide Memorial Church, where an estimated 1,000 people filled the sanctuary and an outdoor viewing area.
