Let's talk culture clash – or more like culture dance. New Zealand and Italy, two beautiful places with totally different vibes.

1. Pace of Life: In NZ, we’re pretty laid-back, but Italy takes it to another level. Italians truly know how to savor life. Long lunches, slow sips of coffee, and an unhurried stroll through the piazzas. It’s a reminder to slow down and appreciate the little moments.

Narrative Changed in My Mind:

Speaking of family Sundays, this really shifted something in my mind. I used to see family gatherings as just another obligation. But in Italy, they’re cherished moments to connect and build stronger bonds. It’s about creating a narrative of togetherness and love, not just routine. I’m bringing that back home – more long dinners, more shared stories, more love.
