The last thing we need to do at a time when we feel like we're in fear or pain is isolating. When we can begin to truly, genuinely connect with others, we can unite with one another and feel connected in a world that's out of control. Why? Because when things feel out of control, whether it's in personal life, school, work, or in society, people tend to isolate and acquire unhealthy coping skills. This is why I am creating my online BE U community, providing tools to help women stay connected with other like-minded women who are going through similar experiences. Online doesn't mean it's any less of a connection because technology now allows us to assess our mentors and world-class teachers with world-class methods and share information with one another that we didn't get to before, building friendships that matter.
