[2:35] - Jill has been following Samson on social media for years and has wanted to ask him to be on the Be You Podcast for a long time.

[7:02] - Samson feels like a very safe space to those around him. It’s a gift, but Samson also believes it is due to the work he has done for complete self-acceptance.

[12:40] - It is a process of perpetual renewal.

[14:06] - Samson describes his childhood. It was full of love, but there was another side that forced him to internalize beliefs about himself.

[17:43] - As early as a year and a half old, Samson believed that he was too much.

[19:41] - Samson discovered personal development and began his journey.

[22:50] - Depth is generally feared.

[27:28] - Samson describes his first experience of plant medicine.

[31:24] - In this experience, he couldn’t protect the mask he was wearing.

[34:38] - The “in-between” is what mattered for Samson.

[37:15] - So much is hidden if you only stay with what is familiar.

[38:48] - Breath transcends it all. It is the one thing we all have in common.

[41:19] - There are multiple ways that we avoid the present moment. But when we breathe, we reconnect with reality.

[44:26] - The breath is a remote control for the nervous system.

[47:09] - These sessions are great, but what are you doing between them?

[51:25] - Our intuition is so powerful because it has access to information that our brain doesn’t have.

[56:15] - Samson tells a story about a time when the memory of something that happened 25 years ago popped up and what happened to his body.

[60:08] - Emotions give us data.

[62:50] - What is the difference between a line in the water, a line in the sand, and a line in a rock?

[64:24] - We are hindering the body’s ability to process emotions.

[67:48] - We fear certain emotions because we think that if we feel it, we are it.

[72:16] - There is a lot of lingo in the coaching and personal development community.
