Dr. Nick Trubee is a husband and father of 3 and a former university professor of exercise physiology who left the world of academia to personally train and coach clients via his online coaching platform, Trubee Health. Nick has spent the last 15 years helping an entire spectrum of people, from average Joes to competitive athletes, connect the dots between their everyday lives and the valuable time spent in the movement space.

Dr. Lyndsey Roesch is a wife, mom of three, certified life coach, and physician. 

Lyndsey has spent the last four years slowing down, creating space and looking inward to cultivate a life of joy, growth and adventure. She currently spends her time raising babies, exploring new hobbies and taking care of patients as a hospitalist.

[9:40] - Sometimes the answer isn’t where you think it is.

[15:02] - This new year has a new focus. We’re dedicating this podcast to our health.

[19:50] - Nick and Lyndsey share how they have always had the same overall goal but how the work towards it looks different, especially after having children.

[82:47] - Certain supplements have a negative stigma. But they’re necessary.

[84:44] - Allow things to be data points without attaching any meaning to them.

[88:21] - Stop using the words “workout” and “exercise” and start using “movement.”

[95:23] - Follow the golden thread. Give yourself an opportunity to explore things that keep coming up.

[99:00] - Jill shares an unusual experience of following “the golden thread” by listening to her intuition.

[103:50] - We are always drawn to the things that are comfortable. Discomfort is often associated with the negative.

[107:52] - Understand that everything is a choice.
