Allergan is always exploring exciting new technologies. Primarily, they look for non-invasive techniques that allow patients to come in and go back to their normal lifestyle nearly immediately.
CoolTone is one of their products, and it’s an electromagnetic device that is cleared for strengthening, toning, and firming of the muscles of the abdomen, buttocks, and thighs. This device does not replace going to the gym, but it can definitely be an addition to your workout.
On today’s episode, Brad and I have an interesting talk about the new device that he and his team have worked on, called, “CoolTone”. He explains to us what it is, how it works, and the benefits of using it.
Brad Hauser has been Vice President, R&D and General Manager for CoolSculpting at Allergan since ZELTIQ was acquired in April 2017. He joined the CoolSculpting team in 2013, as Vice President of Product and Clinical Strategy, and later became Senior Vice President of Research and Development. Previous to ZELTIQ, he has held multiple roles in the aesthetic industry, including Executive Vice President of Commercial Operations for Cutera, Director of Research and Development at Medicis and Managing Director of Product and Clinical Marketing at Solta Medical. Mr. Hauser received his Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Stanford University.
