Our first episode focuses on all things Gold Alumni Association (GAA)*. We are joined by Jamie Black, the Chairman of the GAA, Mark Arscott, the Deputy Chairman of the GAA and Head of Military Talent at BT, Darren Knight, the HM Forces Liaison Manager at Pertemps and Neil ‘Jacko’ Jackson the Director of DRM to discuss how and why the association started, the work they do and their aims for the future. The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) encourages employers to support defence and inspire others to do the same. The scheme encompasses bronze, silver and gold awards for employer organisations that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to defence and the armed forces community, and align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant. *Please note the The Gold Alumni Association (GAA) is now the Gold Award Association (GAA).
