We go over to the book of Galatian.
0:29
Praige God. Thank
0:32
you, Lord Jesus.
0:36
Now this is the apostle Paul, the
0:39
spirit of God speaking
0:41
through the apostle Paul to
0:44
the Galatian. And to
0:46
you and to me. A
0:50
gentile is just
0:52
simply someone without God.
0:55
Well, we're not gentiles. No,
0:59
we are not. So
1:07
the apostle, this great apostle is
1:09
teaching all through this. Paul
1:12
and apostle, not a man, neither a
1:14
man, but by Jesus Christ, God, the father
1:16
who raised him from the dead, and all
1:19
the brother in which are with me
1:21
in the churches of Galatia, grace be to
1:23
you and Pete. Now listen to that. Grace.
1:26
Grace. Grace
1:31
is to the gentiles. Shalom
1:35
is to the Jew. That's right.
1:40
That's worth an amen. I
1:44
said that's worth a name, man. Maybe
1:51
I need to go back singing. I don't know.
1:56
Verse twelve, I never I never received
1:59
it of man Neither was I taught it,
2:01
but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
2:06
So he begins to teach concerning
2:14
Abraham and the faith of Abraham
2:22
So comes over especially
2:25
in this third chapter
2:28
Food escalations who have been which to you
2:30
that you should not obey the truth. Before
2:33
whose eyes Jesus Christ have been evidently
2:35
set forth and crucified among you.
2:38
There's only what I learned of you receive
2:40
you of read the spirit by
2:42
the works of the law or
2:44
by the hearing of faith, by
2:50
the laws of faith. We've
2:52
already understood that now. Yeah.
2:55
Are you foolish having begun in the spirit?
2:58
Are you now made perfect by the flesh?
3:00
Have you suffered so many things in vain?
3:02
If it yet, it'd be yet in vain.
3:05
He therefore has ministered to
3:10
you the spirit and work with miracles
3:12
among you by
3:15
the works of the law, or
3:18
by the hearing of faith. Even
3:23
as even as Abraham believed God
3:25
and it was accounted to him for righteousness, know
3:28
you, therefore, that they which are of faith,
3:30
ashamed, or the children of Abraham. The
3:35
scripture foreseeing that God would justify
3:37
the heathen through faith preached before
3:40
the gospel under Abraham saying.
3:42
In thee shall all nations be blessed.
3:46
So then they which are of be
3:48
of faith or blessed with faithful Abraham.
3:52
For as many as are of the works of the law
3:54
under the curse, for it is written, cursed
3:56
as everyone that continues not in all things
3:58
which are written in the book of the law to do them.
4:01
But that no man is justified by the law
4:03
on the side of God, it is evident for the burial
4:05
of the faith. Now here it was, we we saw
4:07
that over there in the book of Hebrew. The
4:10
law is not of faith, but
4:12
the man that does them shall live in them.
4:15
Christ has redeemed us from the curse
4:17
of the law. Being made a curse for
4:19
us, for it is written, cursed as everyone that
4:21
hangs on a tree. That's deuteronomy twenty
4:23
one twenty three. That
4:26
the blessing of Abraham might come
4:28
on the gentiles through Jesus Christ,
4:32
that we might receive the promise
4:34
of the spirit through faith, brethren,
4:36
I speak after the manner of men, though it
4:38
be but a man's covenant, yet
4:41
if it be confirmed, no man disernodes
4:43
it are ads there too. Now
4:45
to Abraham and his seed were
4:47
the promises made, he say of not
4:50
and the seeds as of many but
4:52
as of one to thy seed which
4:54
is Christ. This
4:58
I say that the covenant that was confirmed
5:00
before of god in Christ, the
5:02
law, which was four hundred and thirty years
5:05
after, cannot discern that
5:07
it should make the promise of none effect
5:10
for if their inheritance be of the law
5:12
has no moral promise. But
5:14
God gave it to Abraham by a promise.
5:17
Wherefore then serves the law. It was
5:19
added because of transgressions till
5:22
the seed should come to whom
5:24
the promise was made and it was ordained
5:27
by angels in the hand of a mediator.
5:31
Jesus was the seed to whom it was
5:33
promised. That's
5:35
what started in the seventeenth chapter
5:38
of Genesis. And Jesus
5:40
was the seed of that promise.
5:48
All of that was to get him in here
5:54
and go. From
5:57
Babylon to
6:00
the Kingdom, Hallelujah,
6:03
changed systems. Wherefore
6:13
the law was our school master to bring
6:16
us to Christ that
6:19
we might be justified by
6:21
faith But after that faith
6:24
is come, we are no longer under a
6:26
school master for you are
6:28
all the children of God by
6:30
faith in Jesus Christ. For
6:32
as many as you have been baptized into
6:35
Christ, have put on Christ.
6:37
There is therefore neither June
6:39
or Greek, there is neither bond or free, there's
6:41
neither mail a female for you are
6:43
all one in Christ Jesus.
6:48
And if you be in Christ,
6:50
then are you Abraham seed and
6:52
heirs according to
6:54
them. Oh,
7:05
glory to God. Faith
7:13
is a spiritual force and it's not
7:15
minimal. This powerful,
7:17
powerful thing. And
7:21
it's good. So
7:27
the first principle
7:31
of this law, fundamentally,
7:34
put it in your heart,
7:37
then say it with
7:39
your mouth. Mark
7:42
eleven twenty three, Romans
7:45
ten ten, second
7:47
Corinthians four thirteen, Luke
7:50
six forty three to forty five, Matthew
7:53
twelve thirty five to thirty seven, Mark
7:55
five twenty five to thirty four, Matthew
7:58
twenty one, Hebrews
8:04
ten twenty three, find
8:07
the problems. Now
8:14
let's go back over the chapter of Hebrews.
8:17
I wanna show you something else. And
8:22
Hollywood got this all wrong.
8:31
Verse eleven through faith. Also,
8:33
Sarah herself received strength to conceive
8:36
seed and was delivered of a child
8:38
when she was past age because
8:40
she judged him faithful who
8:42
had Therefore,
8:49
spring their even of
8:52
one, him as good as dead.
8:55
So many is the stars of the sky
8:57
and multitude and as the
8:59
sand which is by the seashore innumerable.
9:02
These all died in faith. Not
9:05
having received the promise and having sent them
9:08
afar off and being persecuted
9:10
them and so forth. And
9:14
verse fifteen, and truly, they had been mindful
9:16
of that country from whence they came out.
9:18
They might have had opportunity to have
9:21
returned. Now
9:23
that reminds me of that dedication of
9:26
this new land in
9:30
what is now Virginia Beach. By
9:33
this little group of men led
9:36
by Chaplin Hunt from
9:38
England. And
9:44
they made the cross out
9:46
of the timbers of that ship. We're
9:50
not going back. We're
9:53
here to stay. All
9:55
of them knew they'd never see their families again.
9:58
But it was worth it. Well,
10:00
I'm very glad that they did. And
10:09
that's the way they were about this. Now
10:11
notice this. By
10:17
faith Abraham when he was tried
10:20
offered up Isaac and
10:22
he that received the promise offered
10:24
up his only begotten son.
10:27
Now we see some powerful
10:30
revelation here. Now
10:36
here is God in covenant. Knowing
10:45
what Abraham did not know. And
10:49
he entered into a blood covenant
10:51
with him. In the
10:53
fifteenth chapter of
10:55
Genesis, it was the blood of animals.
10:58
But if you continue reading in
11:01
the seventeenth, God told
11:03
him you will now circumcyze
11:08
them in as a
11:10
sign of this covenant. So
11:13
now here's the blood
11:15
of a man. In a blood
11:17
covenant, not animals.
11:20
The whole idea was from God and
11:23
it still is in the sacrifice of of
11:25
animals. The whole idea was don't kill
11:27
a man for his sin. I mean, take for me
11:29
an animal. I'm not I'm
11:32
not interested in death here. But
11:37
now as a covenant partner, and
11:40
they're in this together. So
11:47
if his covenant partner
11:50
was willing to offer up his
11:53
only begotten son, then
11:55
that bound God as
11:57
his covenant partner, he could
12:00
not refuse when Jesus
12:02
one day would say if there's any way
12:04
to let this cup pass from me
12:06
and God just said it, you know.
12:09
We have to go through with this. So
12:13
that with Isaac was the type.
12:17
Now in the the movies that I've seen,
12:27
He stopped at the bottom of the mountain,
12:31
and he told the young man that was with him.
12:35
The lad and I are going up younger
12:37
to make the sacrifice and we will return.
12:44
We will return. And
12:46
now you see it here. By
12:50
faith, Abraham, when he was tried to offer
12:52
it up Isaac, and he that received
12:54
the promise offered up his only begotten
12:57
son of whom it was said
12:59
in in Isaac Excel your seed be
13:01
accounting that God was
13:03
able to raise him up even
13:06
from the dead from whence also
13:08
he received him in a
13:10
figure. He saw this
13:12
in the spirit. Yes. He did.
13:15
And he fully intended to see
13:17
him razed up from those
13:19
ashes. And
13:21
he raised the knife. Well,
13:25
that's all God warning. Yeah. And
13:28
the angel. Stepped
13:30
in. Stay
13:32
your head. And
13:35
there was a ram caught
13:37
in a thicket. Oh,
13:43
yes. Don't you love it? There
13:46
he was all the time. The
13:49
sacrifice was there. I've
13:51
often wondered. Whose
13:55
RAM was that? That
14:00
belonged to somebody. I
14:02
had one man say, well, I believe God
14:04
created it for that moment. Well,
14:07
that's a stretch. Because
14:10
the ram was tangled. He
14:13
was already there. Amen.
14:19
Oh, really god. Oh, yeah. So
14:26
god made covenant with a man.
14:29
Based on one thing he would
14:32
teach his children, entered
14:36
into covenant with him, In
14:42
order to make
14:44
a stand, that
14:46
would come in that day
14:48
and time when his
14:51
only begotten for son. Would
14:55
be put on the altar. And
15:01
Jesus accepted it. Nevertheless,
15:08
not my will be done but yours. Well,
15:11
now people have tried to pray that, and
15:14
and tried to tack it on every prayer.
15:17
That doesn't go on every prayer. That's
15:21
a that that is a prayer of total
15:23
digit dedication. Nevertheless,
15:28
your will be done. Yeah. You
15:31
could come to a place where
15:34
you settle it with God. There
15:37
never has been a time since I was called a preach
15:39
that I ever thought of what. I
15:42
don't know. I have another people to have it, but
15:44
you need to settle it once and for all.
15:48
Yeah. Settle it. I don't I don't pray about
15:50
that. About what I'm not I'm
15:52
called a priest. That day in that
15:54
that funny looking mental living room, settled
15:56
that between joy and me. I
15:58
mean, that was done. I'm just a preacher.
16:00
That's that's it. And
16:05
I used to be a pilot
16:07
that preached. Well, God
16:09
changed that. He
16:14
said, when when are you gonna change your
16:16
mind? Well,
16:20
I want to be a pilot ever since I knew what
16:22
an airplane was. But
16:25
I had to make the change. And
16:28
then I became became a preacher that
16:30
flies. I
16:33
like that better. I
16:36
had to learn the fundamentals of
16:39
flying. And
16:43
in World War two, I
16:45
mean, it had a lot of a lot of young men
16:47
that just came in from the country that didn't
16:49
know anything. And you talked about starting
16:52
at fundamentals. Gentlemen,
16:54
this is an airplane. Really?
17:00
That's the way they started. And this is a
17:02
propeller. Well,
17:05
they had to do that to get
17:07
their attention on something that sounded
17:09
so simple because five minutes
17:11
later, they're talking about things you never heard
17:13
of before. This
17:16
is a this this is an airplane.
17:18
This is a propeller. This is the
17:21
leading edge. This is the aileron.
17:23
The anteron. What's
17:27
that? Well, you only
17:29
you only got around the one end of the wing,
17:31
now you're in already into something you
17:33
never heard of before. Unless
17:35
he'd already learned how to fly us.
17:38
And then you're using all kinds of strange
17:40
names. You got an aileron, an
17:43
empanage, Do you know
17:45
an airplane had an elevator? Well,
17:48
yeah, it had to go up and down. It's
17:53
called the horizontals that the elevator
17:56
is tied to the horizontal stabilizer. The
18:00
vertical stabilizer, the rudder
18:02
is tied to that. So
18:06
when you when you pull back on the
18:08
stick and the
18:11
houses get smaller, You
18:14
know it's working. And
18:17
you push down this way and the houses get
18:20
bigger. Now,
18:22
you're catching all. It's
18:26
that simple. And
18:29
I was so eager at the time I
18:31
I knew a lot of that just but reading
18:34
after it and so forth, but I didn't know the
18:36
correct terminology. And sure enough
18:38
the day I soloed. They came up with something
18:40
I'd never heard before in the life. August
18:45
of nineteen sixty one. And
18:50
Meacham field in Fort Worth, which there was
18:52
no DFW, so Mexam was
18:54
the the Fort Worth Municipal
18:57
Airport, and Dallas Love was
18:59
over there in Dallas. But
19:02
a soloed at four o'clock in the afternoon. A
19:06
soloed I trained early in
19:08
the morning because the air was not rough
19:11
and get hot. But
19:13
then, I don't remember why I'm so old in
19:15
that afternoon, so long ago. But
19:18
now all the traffic is there.
19:22
Well, I had just been doing my little
19:24
thing in a little session one fifty,
19:27
5523 echo. And
19:31
so, and normally, I'd
19:33
turn left, I'd take on, and turn them
19:35
down, then 5523 echo,
19:38
touch, and go. And
19:40
so then I'd come around and touch and take
19:43
all of you. And this day, I
19:45
did that. Man,
19:47
I want that guy to my airplane so bad.
19:50
Just get out of here. Just just go
19:52
away. So I did
19:54
nothing. And I took off.
19:57
And turned based and turned down
19:59
when I said, sergeant 5523
20:02
echo, down when, touch, and go.
20:05
Roger that two three echo, you're number
20:07
eight, and the better father of DC three just outside
20:10
the outer marker. What?
20:17
Now, the outer marker is part
20:19
of the instrument landing system.
20:22
I never heard of it. The
20:25
outer marker is when you're coming in there
20:27
and you and you come across that marker
20:30
and that's when you start downhill.
20:34
I never heard of it. Hello.
20:38
They got something painted on a barn
20:40
out here or something out. I
20:43
said, sir, this is my first solo.
20:45
Oh, okay. Can you
20:48
hold your head? Can
20:51
you hold you out too? Yes, sir.
20:54
Well, just to continue straight ahead
20:56
And I'll tell you when to turn based. So
21:00
I'm just motor and long nurse. He
21:02
said two three echo, you see that DC
21:04
three just off your left wing on final.
21:09
Yes, sir. He
21:13
said wait until he passes under your
21:15
wing and then turn base. And
21:17
I thought, well, that's
21:19
cool. Because I couldn't
21:22
hit him now if I just die at him.
21:26
Talk about fundamentals network. But
21:30
you know, that
21:32
little two sheets Sessna
21:35
one fifty flies
21:37
exactly like a seven forty seven.
21:43
Same principle. So
21:48
I had to learn one step at
21:50
a time. I finally learned
21:52
what an outer marker was and
21:54
how to use it. And
21:57
a little bit at a time,
22:00
and finally had an instrument rating
22:02
and and, you know, all the whole thing.
22:06
That's way I started in faith. I
22:09
didn't know anything about it. Now
22:13
watched Earl Roberts and
22:15
I listened to Kenneth Hayden. And
22:19
had the privilege of having them both
22:21
in the same room. Amazing.
22:29
And there came a time that
22:32
there was able to a situation. Everybody
22:36
knows who Marcus Lam and
22:38
Dunn and
22:41
Joanie Lam. Southwest
22:44
believers convention. The
22:46
place is full of people and
22:49
the spirit of the Lord came on me at
22:51
the offering time And he
22:53
said, give this entire offering tonight
22:56
to Marcus and Joanie. So
23:02
I just announced it and
23:04
everybody went, what
23:06
are we gonna do? But
23:11
it started that television
23:13
network. Now
23:21
all of that All
23:23
of that has to do with fundamentals. But
23:27
you have to be obedient. Ready,
23:34
on call. Amen.
23:45
What we saw through the pandemic that
23:48
really, really ministered to me,
23:51
was we made a decision to call each
23:53
and every one of the people that we had in
23:55
our data base. So whether they were a partner
23:57
or a friend, we made a phone call
23:59
to them at the onset of the
24:01
pandemic to just pray a
24:03
blessing over them for protections. We prayed
24:05
so many one over them, couple other things.
24:08
And just really wanted to let them know we're here for
24:10
them. We're standing with them. And
24:12
what really ministered to me through that was
24:15
when we'd call our partners the
24:17
people that were really connected and had
24:19
had been feeding on the word through
24:22
the years, they were not in
24:24
fear. They were they were not concerned
24:26
and and they were speaking words of
24:28
faith and life back into back
24:31
into us and And, yeah,
24:34
it was just it was an encouraging and really minister
24:36
to me to see, wow, because
24:38
of their feeding on the word, They
24:41
they are living in victory. The Lord
24:43
continued to show himself faithful and and
24:45
strong on behalf of KCM Canada.
24:49
We're doing his work. And he's
24:51
able to you know, it's his work,
24:53
so he's going to fulfill the
24:55
resources needed to get it done. And
24:58
not only did we have
25:00
record breaking years, phone
25:02
calls and contributions, but
25:05
we are also able to grow our
25:08
largest growth in in the ministry's
25:11
history in Canada. We started
25:13
out with nineteen staff at beginning
25:16
of the pandemic. And today
25:18
we're at thirty people. And
25:21
and that's only through God when when many other
25:23
ministries across Canada
25:26
were pulling back and shutting down
25:28
and and really not knowing
25:30
if they were going to exist afterwards. We
25:33
experienced our largest growth. Although
25:35
we were continuing to minister, it was also
25:37
a time of planning for the future, and
25:39
it was a time for us to just reassess and
25:41
and realize how
25:43
we wanted to to press forward and
25:45
really take new ground for the kingdom in
25:47
Canada. And we've
25:50
really felt led to start KCBC
25:52
Canada. So a a international,
25:55
the first international satellite location
25:57
KCBC. And also,
25:59
we are converting our bookstore, which
26:02
was down on down on our ground floor of
26:04
our office. Into a social enterprise
26:07
cafe to offer
26:09
employment to men and women coming out of prison.
26:12
So it's really our prison ministry full
26:14
circle. So that when the men and women
26:16
get out, they can come receive mentorship,
26:19
job skills training, discipleship, and
26:22
that we can send them send them out into
26:24
the workforce to be successful.
26:30
God is a rewarder. He
26:34
is a rewarder. It's impossible
26:36
to please him without faith because he
26:38
can't get your intention. You not connecting

26:50
I'm Larry Warren. The Word of the Lord
26:53
came to Brother Copeland for twenty twenty
26:55
three. Put God's word first
26:57
and make it final authority. We
26:59
did this by putting God's word in our hearts,
27:02
through our eyes and ears, and speaking
27:04
it by faith with our mouths. And
27:06
as brother Copeland said today, always
27:09
be obedient, on call,
27:11
and ready to respond to his word with
27:13
faith. Now to help you learn
27:15
more, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland want to
27:17
sell this free teaching series into your
27:19
life, and it's called precious faith,
27:22
precious promises. You'll learn
27:24
how to build bold faith that
27:26
rises up and receives the promises
27:28
that belong to you. When you
27:30
commit whatever you do to the Lord, your
27:33
plans will succeed because
27:35
great is our lord and mighty
27:37
in power His understanding has
27:40
no limits. So request your
