Simon Sinek was right. People buy your product when they believe WHY you do what you do. I so damn believe Steve Jobs's design philosophy and I have been a cult follower ever since I got a hold of an iPhone 3gs. It was inspiring, interesting, and so stimulating. I simply loved every product he put out because I know what he's trying to achieve and why in such a way. Naysayers can say whatever they want about Apple products but it will take something more than amazing to make me shift. And I think that says a lot about how this marketing genius has made me feel -- more than the status, it made me believe that we "the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes ... the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo." have a place and that we can change the world despite and in spite. We can be who we are and we don't need to line up according to how things are "supposed to be". That empowerment alone deserves my loyalty. Reading this humongous book just made me understand the inner workings of his mind. I am not a genius but I can relate in so many ways, at so many levels. We are probably outrageous and live out in the same out-of-this-world dimension.

This book is definitely one of my favorites-- one I reread when I need creativity and power.
