A podcast about podcasts. Yes, they interview podcasters, but also people who are doing other things in the podcast space as well. If you are interested in podcasting beyond just hosting one this is definitely for you. But if you are just interested in hosting one, this is for you too.
This podcast is pretty amazing! Zach and Rock manage to cover so much that is helpful to podcasters. They do a great job covering the ins and outs of remote recording and also covering latest trends in podcasting. Their guests are leaders from the podcasting industry and listening to them really opens up new ideas and possibilities for me as a fairly new podcaster. Lately they've been dropping some amazing shows in their feeds. I always look forward to see who's going to be featured next!I started my show Art Heals All Wounds because I wanted to explore how art can be used as a way to heal, solve problems, and increase well-being. The guests on the show are creating work about everything from grief to global warming. I'm really glad that I found Squadcast.fm to help me record without worrying about getting good quality audio and I'm always happy to listen to the information in Between Two Mics: The Remote Recording Podcast!
As a new podcaster starting out I am so glad I found the podcast Between Two Mics. Every time I tune in - there is something to learn and to help me grow my podcast. Thanks Guys!
"Tardigrades to Save Planet Earth"If there is a term you don't know about, the foreign sound of that word might be enough of a hook for you to select a podcast on...tardigrades? Of course, anything that is touted to, possibly, save Planet Earth would be of particular interest these days, so a good podcast title works, too, to draw you in.This podcast does make a point of defining the subject and then calling in experts to elaborate about the item in question. Discovered in the 18th century, tardigrades may be in the same league as cockroaches in their evident indestructibility. The podcast spurs scientific curiosity. It feeds the spirit of imagination and investigation of the smallest organisms such that they might offer lessons in biology and design, new means to help rescue a planet in danger. This podcast host also explains the professional interconnections that led to guest invites so it is useful to other podcasters to understand that process.
As a podcast creator and host, I find "Between Two Mics" really informative, with useful tips that I can apply right away. Just today I was listening to an episode while walking my dog, and kept stopping to write notes to myself in my phone! My podcast--"The Experience Podcast" (which I record using Squadcast!)--asks the question, "What is it really like to ... ?" I interview people about unique, interesting, intriguing experiences that most of us have never done (such as climbing Mt. Everest, or attending the Academy Awards, or being in a religious cult). At the end of each episode I do "take-aways" from the conversations. I've found that even though the experiences vary widely, there is so much we all can relate to and learn from one another. Stories are at once unique and universal.
A great podcast to learn about podcasting! Really love the Community Interviews and learning about the amazing people that are using Squadcast.
For every soul plagued by the idea that you've already lived your life, you've already successfully raised your children, you've already received your education and educated others...and there isn't much left for you to do, this podcast is for you!Your host, Wendy Maguire, chats with guests each week who are embracing their second wind. People who have taken on their second half of life fully charged and ready for a new adventure. Join Wendy each week as she talks with ordinary people doing extraordinary things while embracing the latter part of their life.Go ahead and breathe in Your Second Wind!
Enjoy listening to episodes from the crew behind Squadcast. Squadcast has cut my workflow down a huge amount and listening to all their episodes I'm getting a few ideas that I have now added to my "to do" list for my own podcast - Behind the Sport which is based around interviewing motorsport people from all levels. It started as some interviews on a website, which turned into its own website followed by the addition of an actual podcast during COVID. We tried all sorts of technology for the remote recordings and finally settled after almost 2 years of "trialing" various options on Squadcast. Can't rate it highly enough.
Loving your podcast!! Sounds great 😉 I don't know how I could do that I do without Squadcast! Lush Life is all about cocktails and to make a good cocktail you need good ingredients! Squadcast rocks and is one of the best ingredients out there for making a great podcast!
I'm appreciative of professional podcasters taking a break and talking about it. It is helpful to hear about what other podcasters are doing behind the scenes. Sometimes its easy just to go dark and not explain oneself. This provides a great example.
I was inspired to listen to a an episode of Between Two Mics about Tardigrades and the environment! I've never heard about these creatures before, and was fascinated to learn about their impact on the world. This podcast show in general is very informative, and I use Squadcast for remote interviews. Our podcast, RHYTHM OF LIFE, is a long-format interview show touching in a variety of topics such as film, culture, politics and journalism. Some of our guests have included Ernie Hudson, Mavis Staples, Alex Kotlowitz and Rev. Jesse Jackson. We've also done an episode with Fred Hampton's attorney to discuss the slain Black Panther leader.
I loved this podcast! My favorite episode was the one about launching a Fintech startup. I also have a podcast called "HoopTalk" that I run with my friend Muhammad. We talk about the NBA and discuss recent news about different teams and players in the league!
Always great info on this podcast! The Starfleet Leadership Academy is an award-winning Leadership Development Podcast Told Through the Lens of Star Trek.Star Trek is full of great examples of leadership. Jeff Akin, a leader with over 20 years of executive management experience in both the public and private sectors, breaks down each episode of Star Trek, from The Original Series to Discovery, and beyond; pointing out examples of great leadership, management, lean/six-sigma, communication and more. If you enjoy Star Trek, or are even a little Trek-curious, and have an appetite for leadership development, this is the podcast for you.
I'm a big fan of Squadcast as a user of the software. But, I don't listen to the podcasts of every customer I'm a customer of. Between Two Mics is relevant to those to make and listen to podcasts. The hosts are fun to listen to and they bring on guests that have an impact on the medium I love.
Go Zach and Rock! Thanks for having these conversations!
SquadCast has always been an incredible resource for all things podcasting. So, naturally, their podcast delivers. Both Zach and Rock are super knowledgeable, and the show's guests add even more insight. My show Good People, Cool Things features conversations with entrepreneurs, musicians, and authors from all over the world. I use SquadCast to record and they make it super easy for both me and my guests. Check this show out and up your podcasting game!
I have listened to this episode "Community Interviews: Social Issues & Mental Health" and as a brand new podcaster, I got a few great tips on how to reach a wider audience and also, some comfort in knowing that having a niche podcast is actually a good thing! Mine is called Innov&Crea. I created it out of wanting to demystify what innovation (not just about the tech world!) and creativity (not just about the art world!) are. As an artist, Design Thinking and innovation mediator, I feel these 2 worlds don't learn enough from one another. With Innov&Crea, I celebrate creativity in innovation and put a spotlight on amazing work people are doing where innovation & creativity for the greater good that intersect :)
As a relatively new Squadcast user, Between Two Mics has been super helpful both in using the Squadcast app and in creating & growing my own podcast. I'm esp a fan of their feed drops, since these give me a chance to hear what other creators are up to while getting useful tips (ie. SEO, being a guest to grow yr show, etc).
This podcast is super helpful for podcasters like me! I co-host Millennial Movie Club, the podcast where you'll laugh and learn about the most nostalgic movies of the 80's/90's/00's! We reveal fascinating fun facts and drop jokes that'll have you squirting Yoohoo straight out your nose. Thanks for the tips to help make it happen!
