If you don’t understand Isaiah’s calling his ministry this guy can drive you crazy. He is the prophet speaking to Judah, 740 before the birth of Jesus, nearly 3000 years ago from today. He is speaking to the two southern tribes, Judah and Benjamin, there 10 tribes to the north and 2 tribes to the south. He was also known as the “Evangelical” prophet, why? Because he spoke more about the messiahship of Jesus Christ than any other OT prophet!In his deliveries, he spoke as God’s oracle of coming judgment to the people, and then he would speak of a coming age, still coming in the future. If we don’t understand this it can be confusing, the Bible doesn’t become clear to us until we read all of it. The OT has the New contained and the New has the OT explained. This is why as Christians we need to be reading our OT, we will never understand the New completely until you read the Old. The title of the message is “The God Who Holds The Future (part 2). The Bible makes it very clear that God is the creator of all that there is BUT we live in a fallen world.
