Kamala being chosen as VP nominee for Joe Biden could give progressives time to regroup a clearly divided progressive wing of the Democratic party. Returning to their roots of organizing as these groups had done under Obama administration. Bernie's 2016 run was only as successful thanks to the root organizations, unions, and activist elements that came together around an economic platform. It later pivots over four years towards liberal social issues and less on economic messaging.
