Ever since my daughter Emily was very young, I knew I wanted to take her on travels around the world. I started out slowly with a trip to Florida but Nicola and I took her on some pretty adventurous trips to China, Indonesia and other places. Now an adult, Emily and I discuss our travels together as well as her trip backpacking through Europe with her friend Amelia. It is very exciting for me that Emily wants to travel now and it gives us so much to talk about. Her experiences are likely helpful for young people wanting to do Europe on their own.
