everyone and welcome to Bigfoot Collectors Club
1:31
The show where we talk to amazing

1:38
I'm your host Michael McMillan With me tonight
1:40
and only with me tonight is your other host Bryce Johnson
1:43
Super producer Riley Bray is off
1:46
in the rock and roll cosmos
1:48
right now He's on tour with Tomy I
1:52
think
1:53
they might be done by the time you guys
1:55
hear this But if you live on the west coast Go
1:58
to name Tomi
2:00
on Instagram and just make sure that
2:03
they aren't playing somewhere near you right now
2:05
because you do not want to miss that
2:07
show. It's fantastic. Tomi's,
2:10
Pam from Tomi's Rad, Riley's
2:12
Rad, Bands Rad, you got to go.
2:15
Uh, greed. He's just nodding
2:17
and saying, okay, great. Hi, Brant,
2:19
how are you? I'm great, man.
2:23
I can't say enough cool things about that, Tomi,
2:25
man. I'm going with you guys down there last
2:28
the time at the, was it Whiskey a Go-Go
2:30
on Sunset? No, we were down at the Troubadour.
2:34
The Troubadour, okay, great. I hadn't been
2:37
out like that in a long time. They were so
2:39
fantastic. I'm
2:42
going to try and describe their sound. It was like this
2:44
sort of, I described it like a Cheryl
2:46
Crow but with a punkier vibe and everything
2:49
was so catchy and such
2:52
a rad sound coming out
2:54
of those three. I loved it. Great.
2:57
All right. Well, I want to get to our guests because we have
2:59
such an amazing guest. Our club scouts are going to be
3:01
so excited. If they don't know this guy
3:03
already, they're going to be very, very excited to know
3:06
him now. But real quick,
3:08
why don't we check in with the club scouts who've been following
3:10
the show on their favorite podcast app and dropping us
3:12
five star reviews on Amazon
3:15
this month. Remember Riley asked us to get some
3:17
Amazon reviews. Bryce, who
3:20
is our five star club scout of the
3:22
week? Yeah,
3:23
well this comes from Amy L who gives
3:25
it five out of five stars.
3:27
Cracks me up.
3:28
This podcast is fantastic.
3:31
I look forward to it each week and I'm a Patreon
3:33
supporter doing my part to help keep
3:35
these three hilarious guys on the air.
3:38
The episodes are engaging. The guests are interesting
3:40
and often super funny. I love Riley's
3:43
music too. It's perfect for when I'm working
3:45
in my studio and need to focus. I
3:47
recommend the BCC highly.
3:50
Thanks Amy. Thank you
3:53
Amy L. We love you. And
3:57
hey, you're our only five star Amazon
3:59
reviews. So the rest of you club scouts get over
4:01
there to Amazon music and drop us a review.
4:04
Why don't you? Nice. Excellent.
4:07
Otherwise you're just going to be reading the same one all month
4:09
long. Well, Michael will do it too. I've
4:11
seen him do it. Yep. All right. Well,
4:14
let's get to it. Our guest this week is an actor
4:16
and host of the podcast. Hi, Strangeness. Club
4:19
scouts of all timelines, please welcome
4:21
Steve Berg to the program. Hi,
4:24
Steve. Hi, friend. How are you
4:26
doing? Thanks for having me. Very happy to be
4:28
here. And you know what? We are friends
4:31
because Steve, whether
4:33
you like it or not, after tonight, you
4:35
will be my friends because I've
4:37
been listening to Hi, Strangeness and I've
4:40
developed a parasocial relationship with you.
4:43
And now we're buddies.
4:45
You're going to have to accept it or not.
4:48
Oh, accepted. Accepted. You
4:50
know, gladly. I've been listening. You
4:53
all show for a long time. So I mean, it
4:55
is weird when you listen to other people's podcasts and then you
4:57
meet them. You're like, but I already know you. I guess
4:59
I don't. But you know, I'm saying like I've taken
5:02
you guys on many walks and, you know,
5:04
working in my garden. So, uh, oh,
5:06
thank you. Oh, wow. I love
5:08
it. I love that we've been in your garden. Now you, you
5:10
are in the Midwest, correct?
5:13
I am. I lived in L.A. for 20 years.
5:16
And during the pandemic, uh, I
5:18
kind of freaked out because my parents were here by
5:20
themselves and, uh, they're older. They're
5:22
like 80. So I was like, dude, I
5:24
should just buy a house in Omaha because they're basically free.
5:27
And, uh, they moved back here. And so
5:29
I just kind of go back and forth between
5:31
Omaha and L.A. I love it. And
5:34
you're, you're in good big
5:36
sky country. I grew up in Kansas
5:38
just south of you by a few hours. Where
5:40
in Kansas? Uh, Olathe, Kansas. So
5:42
just in the suburbs of near Overland Park
5:45
outside of Kansas City. I have many friends that
5:47
went there. I went to the University of Kansas. I'm a Jayhawk.
5:49
Oh my God. I knew we were going to like
5:51
each other. Bryce, you can just sign
5:54
out if you want to. Come back for high streams
5:56
now. I'm close too. I got some family out
5:58
there in Sioux City, which is really. really close to Omaha.
6:01
When I go back there, you fly into Omaha. Sure, that's
6:03
really close. Yeah, that's true. You
6:05
know, one of my, there's a great UFO case from
6:07
the 1800s from Sioux City. Oh,
6:10
well it's here. Would you remember off the top of your
6:12
head? Do you know, it's, now I can't remember
6:14
the guy's name, but anyways, he was a farmer, he was
6:16
on this field, and he sees this like,
6:18
kind of like flying airship above him, and they
6:20
shoot, the airship shoots down a like
6:23
rope with a hook. Oh yes. Hook,
6:25
hook, you know that one, you know, somebody in the trouser. Yeah,
6:27
yeah. Didn't it get stuck in a church
6:30
or something like that? They say like part of like
6:32
the, I think part
6:35
of the, at the end of the rope, there might have been like an
6:37
anchor or something, and didn't it get like lodged
6:39
into such a crazy
6:42
story? Buddy, it is, and
6:44
I'm trying to locate that damn anchor, and if I find
6:46
it, I'll fly you guys out for an expedition.
6:48
That's wild. I got to tell everyone listening.
6:51
So Steve's the real, he's the real,
6:53
real deal. You are clearly
6:56
having listened to now five,
6:58
six episodes of the show, I'm getting caught up. You
7:00
are clearly well versed
7:03
in high strangeness. You've, I
7:05
know from your show that you've been into this for a very
7:07
long time. So let's get in
7:10
right to it. Let's jump right in.
7:12
Yeah. Steve, what is your personal paranormal
7:15
history? How did you get into this stuff?
7:17
And have you ever had a, an
7:21
experience that you can't explain? Okay.
7:25
Well, gosh, great questions. So I kind of got
7:27
into it, but really young, my mom
7:29
was a school teacher, so she took me to get a library
7:31
card and I came
7:33
back with like a Billy Meyer picture book of like host
7:35
UFO photos. But Billy
7:38
Meyer stuff, it's really beautiful, you know, like
7:40
the sunsets and the Swiss, they're gorgeous
7:42
looking. Tell everyone we've not done an episode
7:44
yet on Billy Meyer. I can't believe it. It's
7:47
been six years and we still haven't, but
7:50
let everyone at home know about
7:52
Billy Meyer. Well he, so
7:54
he was this, you know, contactee
7:56
allegedly. I think that like he
7:59
started putting out photos. in the stories in the late 60s
8:01
but he would he had
8:03
these magnificent photos of these like
8:05
you know metal hunks of metal
8:08
flying saucer classic like 50s
8:10
style the flying saucers that we all
8:12
love you know yeah we call
8:14
them classic saucers we're CS
8:16
a real yeah yeah I'm
8:19
old-school give me a sauce I'm a saucer guy
8:22
but you so he was having all these experiences
8:24
and like you know full-on contact the experiences
8:27
I remember there was a book that he had where he
8:29
shows you see half of
8:32
the UFO occupant in like a horrible
8:35
cheesy costume holding like a ray gun so you
8:38
know obviously I think people caught on pretty quick
8:41
that this guy was taking people for
8:43
a ride you know I'm saying but uh I
8:46
still had this affinity like because sometimes
8:48
I look at hoaxers as like performance art so
8:52
long story short I
8:55
checked out that book anyway and then it's
8:58
just kind of from there and out through my childhood
9:00
I was you know and probably like a lot
9:02
of you guys you know like check reading every ghost
9:04
book you found in your grade school or Bigfoot
9:07
book or UFO book and it just never
9:09
stopped I just kept on going and going and
9:11
by time I was like in middle
9:14
school I was going to UFO conferences by myself
9:16
and I love it you know
9:18
I was like really like sure
9:21
about it like there at the time yeah
9:24
I was you know total weirdo
9:26
man but I love like a secret life I was like a jock
9:29
so like football yeah guys right
9:31
off the buffet mama buff drink beer and
9:34
then I would sneak out to a UFO conference like
9:37
in shame you know like how old my
9:39
secret how old were you when
9:41
you joined move on well
9:43
I tried to when I was like in high school
9:46
but then they gave me a bunch of flex I was there
9:48
like why do you want to join move on I was like well I just want to be an
9:50
investigator dog you know like right hook
9:52
me up with some kind of like Geiger counter and send
9:54
me off I'm Richie you know
9:57
yeah like why do you care like don't you
9:59
be members like come
10:02
on yeah yeah honestly I was kind of like
10:04
fuck it dude so like you know they they
10:07
they kind of gave me some flack I think about being a teenager
10:10
whatever now it's like I'm out later you know I'll
10:12
need you guys but you know then like college
10:15
comes around and you start you know worrying
10:17
about girls and partying
10:19
and going to like guided by voices concerts
10:21
and so you forget about UFOs down at the bottleneck
10:25
dude yes I literally thought I got it
10:27
by voices at the bottleneck of course you did oh
10:29
man that's great the best and but yeah
10:35
then I moved to LA and when I came to LA
10:38
I got really excited because
10:40
in California they have everything
10:42
there's so many conferences I would we'd go to
10:45
this church in Studio City for
10:47
these like monthly you pars meetings
10:49
where they'd have like you know Nick Redford
10:52
and like you know more head come and speak
10:54
and I was like there'd be like 40 yeah
10:56
a Methodist Church like off
10:59
more park I wasn't on
11:01
this email list otherwise I would have been
11:03
there right I would go all the
11:05
time and I would you know truth
11:07
be told I was just like getting baked in my car
11:10
and just like rolling in there thinking like
11:12
a skunk and loving life yes
11:16
you know it's great how
11:18
was uh how was Nick Redfern
11:20
like we have not had him on the show I'd
11:22
love to get him on the show but there's there's
11:25
a little fear with some of these people where you're like
11:28
I'm a little afraid of me I don't want them to destroy
11:30
the illusion I know he was
11:32
so nice like really nice I even
11:34
got like a picture with him because like those people
11:37
even though like you know you work in LA and like
11:39
the film and TV business and stuff and you are like
11:41
even if you live in LA you're around a lot celebrities no
11:43
matter what but after a while
11:45
that sort of wears off but like paranormal
11:48
ufological like
11:51
I guess personalities like really get me starstruck
11:54
around Nick Redford oh god
11:56
I would like you know a
11:58
little Beatles girl You know like it was
12:01
amazing the most excited I ever went
12:03
was was when I saw Grant
12:06
Morrison talk at meltdown Back
12:08
before meltdown still existed and I was
12:10
like the most starstruck I've ever been
12:13
in my entire life Grant Morrison's awesome,
12:15
dude. I would be too. Yeah, they're the best
12:17
they're the coolest So
12:20
have you had any experience that
12:22
you can't explain or have you been on
12:24
the search of one of those? No,
12:27
I sadly I have not and I
12:29
have been one of those You know, I was
12:32
one of those kids one of those adults even now.
12:34
I'm always trying to put myself in a position to Find
12:38
like there I've been researching a lot of like weirdly.
12:40
There's a lot of kind of Bigfoot action in Eastern,
12:42
Nebraska Really? Yeah,
12:45
and like going back like a long
12:47
ways in like newspapers. I found like cases
12:49
from you know The late, you know
12:52
or late 1800s, which is wild But
12:56
I will go out to these places just to try
12:58
to feel the vibe of what
13:00
was happening And so I'm always kind of like
13:03
putting myself in positions I feel to
13:05
go to hot spots and try to experience stuff
13:08
and I mean, I'm not maybe that sincere about it I'm not like taking
13:10
Geiger counters or doing rituals or anything. But
13:12
you know, but yeah Trying
13:16
to man, you know like As
13:18
much as I possibly can you know because it would
13:21
be really cool to experience something
13:23
yet I don't need to just still
13:25
be interested in this stuff When
13:27
you when you go out to these destinations to check
13:30
them out like what you're not bringing
13:32
in equipment It sounds like but what are
13:34
you doing once you get out there? Usually
13:37
I'm really well first
13:39
off. I plan a very great lunch. So
13:48
I Cries
13:51
out there maybe a little potatoes now,
13:53
you know a nice, you know pretty soon They're gonna
13:55
be like have you seen the
13:57
picnic man of Every
14:01
now and then you'll catch him out there. He
14:03
calls out, he's like, I'm ready for
14:05
company. Like, you know,
14:09
I've got lunch for two. I've got lunch
14:11
for two over here. Yeah,
14:13
but what do I do? I
14:16
just honestly, what I do is I take like my GoPro
14:19
out there and I kind of summarize like what
14:21
happened or the account. My
14:24
big plan was to take a bunch of these videos and
14:26
then like edit them and release them. Like I can't
14:29
edit very well. Fair enough. So
14:31
I'm actually having someone do it for me because I've taken so
14:33
much footage, especially because
14:35
like, you know, it's been like a weird three years
14:37
with the pandemic and then these like back
14:40
to back strikes. Like
14:41
it's been, work has been funky, man. So
14:44
yeah. You know, for a lot of our listeners
14:46
who might not have heard your podcast,
14:48
I only heard it for the first time today and
14:51
you had the guest
14:53
Joshua Kuchin on who
14:55
wrote where the footprint ends and we talk about
14:58
him a lot. But oh my gosh, listening
15:00
to you guys on the show. Yeah. Listening
15:02
to you guys talk back and forth and parlay
15:05
these these high strangeness
15:07
theories and you guys were both so on top
15:09
of it and and poignant and in depth
15:11
into all this stuff. So so when you're going
15:13
out to these places, you're probably looking at
15:16
it from a fresh perspective
15:18
as well as just sort of telling the facts
15:21
of what happened. But coming at it from
15:23
this angle of like, you know, I heard
15:25
you guys are so open to all these ideas
15:27
that somehow this phenomenon connects,
15:30
especially back to old fairy lore and
15:32
and it could be happening today. And
15:35
and can you talk a little bit about
15:37
sort of, you know, that the perspective
15:39
you bring to these places you visit?
15:41
Yeah. Well, thanks for noticing that because I know that
15:44
you're you kind of nailed how I feel
15:46
or what excites me about these 40 topics,
15:49
because I I do see
15:52
so many patterns and motifs that
15:55
have repeated itself throughout
15:57
history. And then just even within
15:59
the phenomenon. You know like of of
16:02
paranormal and cryptozoology and ufology
16:05
I mean if you can take like lights for example like
16:08
orbs of light are seen in Conjunction
16:11
with all weird stuff right it's inside
16:13
of a house Well, it's a ghost if it's
16:15
in the air It's a UFO if you see
16:17
an orange orb when people see have a Bigfoot
16:19
sighting right? It's a big word
16:22
It's a platform of big it's a plasma
16:25
tummy ball Yeah, so I mean
16:27
like I think I I think there's
16:29
so many of these things that are like
16:31
You know even like with UFOs and big fight think Josh
16:33
and I probably talked about this but like, you know Bigfoot
16:37
is always seen crossing the road or
16:39
like, you know, like almost getting hit by a car
16:41
There's always these like apparitions by the
16:43
road There's so many cases especially
16:45
in the 50s 60s and 70s and 80s in
16:48
UFOs. They're in the middle of roads Yeah
16:51
so there's these kind of ancient motifs
16:53
like, you know means of travel like
16:55
I feel like The idea
16:57
of liminality kind of being between spaces
17:00
and like, you know A lot of this stuff is the stuff that
17:02
really turns me on so when I go out to a place
17:04
where Bigfoot was supposedly seen I'm
17:07
always looking for is a by a tributary not
17:09
just because of Deer
17:12
water and wildlife stuff but more
17:15
how does it relate to the greater? Phenomenon
17:19
because I do feel like UFOs
17:22
like where where Bigfoot is mostly seen
17:24
in eastern Nebraska.
17:25
It just so happens That is where all
17:28
the most of the other weird stuff is. Hmm
17:31
UFO cases Structured crafts
17:33
lights over the Missouri River wild
17:36
black Panthers being seen in the late 1800s I
17:38
mean like flying winged humanoids
17:41
all kinds of really wild stuff Steve I
17:43
feel a little embarrassed being you know, a sort
17:45
of from that area. Can you tell us like sort
17:48
of this? What the location topographically
17:51
it looks like for for for
17:53
Bigfoot in in what part of Nebraska
17:55
you said Eastern? Well,
17:58
it's like a forested area since they
18:01
are so like tippy top of Nebraska
18:04
on the eastern side all the way down
18:07
to the south runs the Missouri River, which is one
18:09
of the bigger rivers in America. And actually
18:11
Nebraska has I think the set
18:14
aside from Alaska, I think next to Texas,
18:16
the most miles of rivers going through it.
18:19
Wow. So you know, so in all
18:21
over these rivers, people like the Republican River people
18:24
talk about Bigfoot, the Platte River
18:26
people talk about Bigfoot. But a lot of the cases
18:28
I'm looking at are from the Missouri
18:30
River on eastern Nebraska. Gotcha. And
18:34
like you said, it is pretty forested
18:36
now in Nebraska, you know, it is definitely
18:39
like cornfields and farmland for
18:41
a great swath of it. But it does
18:43
have some diversity on its coastal lines
18:45
and stuff like that. So you know,
18:48
I mean, even today, there's, you
18:50
know, on the Omaha Indian reservation and
18:52
the Winnebago reservation, which is kind
18:54
of like in the northern part of the eastern Nebraska.
18:58
They supposedly have interactions with Bigfoot all
19:00
the time. Wow. Like, I think
19:02
Jeffrey Meldrum went out there and some other
19:05
people have been out there. But like they supposedly have
19:07
a not only Bigfoot, but a lot
19:09
of weird stuff. Right, right. I love
19:11
those, those Bigfoot habituation
19:13
cases where they're always the people are like, Oh,
19:16
I see him every day. Oh, he's always out my backyard
19:18
every day. And then a research will come in like, I
19:20
don't know, he was here yesterday. I
19:23
think you might have scared him off. And then the person's
19:25
like, Damn, oh, well, I mean, you've talked
19:27
to a lot of witnesses, I'm guessing, right, Bryce?
19:29
I mean, quite a what if you at this point? Yeah,
19:32
yeah, they're starting to pile up.
19:34
Yeah. Yeah. I mean, do you ever hear
19:36
some of these weirder aspects, you know, like,
19:38
that
19:39
are associated sometimes with Bigfoot?
19:42
You know, on occasion, people
19:45
will talk about like, how
19:47
track ends or, you
19:50
know, sort of that that quietness that
19:53
that sort of takes over a space
19:55
before an encounter happens. You
19:58
know, there are the sort of strange
20:01
clues and motifs
20:03
as you would say that do sort of show up in
20:06
these Bigfoot encounters with a lot of these
20:08
witnesses. Yeah. Yeah. It's interesting.
20:10
Oh, it's so interesting. Cool. What
20:12
are some of these favorite places that
20:15
you found? Is there a spot
20:17
that you've gone back to more than once
20:19
because you feel like something's going on here?
20:22
Well, I'm actually,
20:24
you know, I had it's funny.
20:27
I feel funny saying this because I'm like, don't
20:29
do it. This is when we get good stuff.
20:31
I'm really just a professional clown, but
20:34
I kind of like sought out this
20:37
guy who is a bow hunter in
20:39
eastern Nebraska. And he
20:41
had been bow. He's like, you know, third generation bow hunter.
20:43
And he had a very dramatic like
20:46
encounter with like, you know,
20:48
very dark colored Bigfoot creature. And
20:52
like really messed him up. He stopped bow hunting for a while.
20:55
And then I got, I finally gotten ahold
20:57
of him and he got back to me and I, you know, I said, Hey,
20:59
you know, I would love to talk to you about the story
21:02
or maybe like, you know, go out there with you
21:04
or whatever. And he was like, totally
21:06
cool, man. And then he like, called me back the next
21:08
day. He was like, you're trying to trick me. You're trying,
21:11
you're a comedian. He like looked me up on
21:13
drunk history and shit. So he thought
21:16
I was like trying to like punk him or something. So
21:19
then I had to convince him. I was like legit.
21:21
Anyways, he takes me out there. And
21:24
this guy first up is not trying to get famous. He's
21:26
not like posting on Facebook, clearly.
21:28
But he took me out to the place where he has
21:31
had these, he's been whooped out. He said, after
21:33
we saw this creature, been blessed
21:35
charged, he said. But he
21:38
took me out to this area and there were like,
21:41
I mean, I feel weird saying it, these pretty dramatic
21:44
stick structures. Okay,
21:46
like X giant logs.
21:48
I mean, like so much so to where he would
21:50
have had to do so much work and
21:53
have buddies help him with like ropes and pulleys to
21:55
just do this for me alone. Right,
21:57
right. So, you know, what do you do
22:00
with all this stuff, you know, I kind of feel like
22:03
I believe that he believes what he's telling me
22:05
for sure. You know, I don't think he
22:07
had two guns on him when I'm not a big gun
22:09
guy. I was like, Oh God, what's happening? What am I doing?
22:12
This guy's a stranger. I'm in a cornfield. And
22:15
it doesn't sound like he likes comedians. No,
22:17
he does. I was really questioning my life decisions
22:20
at that point. But you know, interesting. And
22:22
so I follow up with him probably every
22:24
three months. And I'm like, Hey, man, anything
22:26
when you've been out hunting, he's like, Yeah, I got bluff charge,
22:29
dude. I'm like, Whoa, okay. Wow.
22:32
I feel like these tree
22:34
structures don't necessarily
22:36
always translate to the screen. I
22:40
love big. I love Expedition Bigfoot.
22:42
And I always love it when you guys come across those
22:45
on the show, Bryce. But for
22:47
for two, I'm talking to two guys that have seen these
22:50
before. What makes them so impressive?
22:53
Steve, what about the ones in Nebraska? I'll
22:56
tell you what. Just looking
22:58
at, I quickly realized this
23:00
was something that if I wanted to, granted,
23:04
I'm not an engineer, I don't have a lot of like, technical
23:06
ingenuity, but I'm a pretty big dude.
23:09
I'm like six, four, you know, 260. Like, and
23:11
while I'm not like a bodybuilder, like, I
23:14
look at these structures, like, there's no way
23:16
I could do this by myself. And then I think to myself,
23:18
like, if I had another, a strong buddy
23:20
with me, could we do it? I'm like,
23:22
maybe, but I kind of doubt it, you
23:24
know, like, and also the time
23:27
it would have taken to do this because
23:30
a lot of these pictures, there would be like a
23:32
hundred sticks made that looked like almost
23:34
like a little like lean to. And
23:37
I actually talked to the farmer who owns this
23:39
land. He owns thousands of acres, right? And
23:43
he said, one, he's never seen a big
23:45
foot on his property. But he also said that
23:47
area where you guys were, I've never been
23:49
there. I own a thousand acres. There's
23:52
a lot of parts of my property I never see. Like,
23:55
you can't walk all that. But another thing he
23:58
did, he was like, well, I never saw a big foot on his property. bigfoot
24:00
but I have seen the purple lights. I'm like what
24:02
do you mean? Purple lights my man my man and
24:04
he goes well you know I'm uh my you
24:07
know grandfather owned this land and my dad did
24:09
now I have it and they always told me about the purple lights
24:12
and I see him too. I'm like what do you I'm you know.
24:14
Oh interesting. So I thought that was interesting. Purple
24:17
lights in the sky from the
24:19
woods where they said they would well
24:21
he actually just kind of pointed when he said they kind of floated
24:23
over like a hill. There was like a hill part where
24:26
we're staying. It's like they would just kind of float over the hill and
24:28
float over the hill and then go away. It
24:30
seems like such a like
24:32
a local phenomenon right like the purple
24:34
lights of that certain area like uh like yeah
24:37
you're right. So wild.
24:39
It is wild and like that and that's the thing like
24:41
that part of Missouri River which is you know if you go like 15
24:44
miles east that's right where the
24:46
Missouri River is. And
24:49
that's kind of the area where people have been seeing lights
24:51
seeing wild men and you
24:53
know all kinds of crazy
24:55
weird I love this Steve because
24:57
you're kind of becoming a budding
25:00
tenny in Nebraska how
25:02
John tenny's always looking at Michigan
25:06
folklore and Michigan stuff going on
25:08
there. Yeah. Like have you found
25:11
any history of purple lights
25:13
in that area? Only other
25:16
people. So there's this researcher
25:19
he's kind of quasi-famous in the UFO
25:21
world I would say his name is Ray Beaucher
25:24
and Nick Redford wrote a book called Final Events and
25:26
Ray is kind of the protagonist of that but
25:29
also the whole I don't know if you've ever heard the Bentwaters case
25:31
in England the UFO case where the
25:34
military saw this craft land who knows if
25:36
it's real or not. Anyway he kind of broke
25:38
that story. Long story short. Bentwater case.
25:40
Ray has been Ray has been
25:43
the probably the biggest you
25:45
know like collector of Nebraska high
25:48
strangeness stories going back to like
25:50
the 60s and so he lived
25:52
in that area and so he's been kind of like in a weird
25:55
way like a guy who
25:57
hit me to a lot of the stuff I wasn't fighting
25:59
on the internet. He's like look here and they
26:01
would send me all these old newspaper clips. Oh,
26:04
wow. Love that crazy I did not
26:06
did not get that on Google So it's
26:08
one of those things to where kind of like I've realized
26:11
how limiting the internet is in terms
26:13
of doing research Yeah, he gives you
26:15
like a little flop that you can't
26:17
use. He's like, here you go kid Well,
26:24
that's that's also like think about
26:26
all of I mean microfiche is one thing But
26:29
like think about all the data that's stored on
26:31
like VHS tapes or floppy
26:33
disks price I mean you joke like
26:36
think of it. There could be evidence out there
26:38
Oh are so much lost speaking that we
26:40
can't access anymore because
26:43
we have no way to get to it Yeah,
26:46
and no one cares to upload the stuff. So I
26:48
think I feel like people think
26:50
like if you have a subscription to newspapers
26:52
comm which I do which is a great resource
26:54
to Look into stuff. It's
26:57
just they don't have everything You know what
26:59
I'm saying? And like the best
27:02
resources I found at least in Nebraska
27:04
in Iowa where I kind of peek around to is
27:06
calling historical societies I'm small towns
27:09
and librarians. Yeah, I have so
27:11
many librarians like work kind of working with
27:13
me Yeah, I love a lot of emote like oh, I
27:15
found this, you know, like, you
27:17
know crop circle case from 1987 I'm
27:20
like, wow nice. Yeah Yeah,
27:22
that's the way to do it how how
27:26
close are you to getting
27:28
a trench coat and Maybe
27:30
start dressing in like 1960s suits
27:32
when you go out brother is
27:35
I'm dangerously close like You
27:38
know like I actually like, you know if
27:40
I if if I could do anything in
27:42
our world It would just it would just be to wake
27:44
up every morning and like go do boots
27:47
on the ground research I think you're on your way. Oh, man,
27:50
it doesn't pay No, it doesn't
27:53
but you're on your way there poverty,
27:56
bro So
28:01
I know we got it. We got to move on here and
28:03
this I'm asking a deadly question,
28:05
but just cuz I'm curious because you're
28:08
You're a man of imagination
28:10
and you're a man who's passionate about the subject
28:13
if you had to give sort of a two-minute
28:15
pitch on what you think is The
28:19
phenomenon what would it what would
28:21
it be the phenomenon of
28:23
Bigfoot or everything? Bigfoot UFOs
28:25
goes how it's like what is what's happening
28:28
out there? At least in your mind
28:30
at this point in time. Maybe today you're like, I
28:32
don't know But you know if
28:34
you could give your elevator pitch of like what's really
28:37
going on out there what you think it is Oh my
28:39
god, this is gonna get into some dorm
28:41
room bong hit territory. But here we go.
28:43
I sort of see this
28:47
stuff, you know kind of as co-created
28:51
by us In like in
28:53
that doesn't necessarily mean I don't believe in
28:55
like the nuts and bolts possibility of
28:58
UFOs in Bigfoot I'm not discounting
29:00
that at all, but I think There
29:03
is something that requires
29:05
our co-creation with a lot of this stuff
29:08
And I think maybe it may not even
29:10
be like another Intelligence
29:13
how we think of like, you know non-human
29:15
intelligence, but it may be a piece of technology
29:17
that is Running in concert
29:20
with the earth and it just projects different
29:22
things Where we are evolutionary,
29:24
you know, if it's you know, the 1600s
29:26
in Ireland, well, it's gonna be fairies and
29:30
You know if it's you know in the Ho Chi
29:32
Minh dynasty era what's gonna be flying
29:34
shields in the sky? Mm-hmm, and if it's
29:36
in the 20th century in the 1940s would
29:38
work, you know thinking about going to space It's gonna
29:41
be aliens from you know another planet and
29:44
now it's interesting because a lot of this stuff is
29:46
it's kind of over Dimensional but what
29:48
does that even mean? You know, are there even we don't even
29:50
know through further dimensions. That's a theory The
29:53
thing is like I think it's the greatest mystery
29:56
in the world and I think part
29:59
of the phenomenon It's teaching us and showing
30:01
us
30:02
stuff from maybe mythology
30:05
and folklore.
30:06
Yeah. I think there's a real reality to it. The
30:08
way I'm describing it is terrible because it sounds
30:10
like, no, I mean, that goes
30:12
a lot of stuff that we've also talked about here. Yeah.
30:15
No, no, no. I'm getting in some Carl Jungian
30:17
type of, you know, kind of areas, but that's how
30:19
I feel about it. I think it's sort of a, yeah,
30:23
I think it's kind of an amalgamation of our collective
30:25
unconscious that is physical
30:28
and non-physical at the same time. Yeah. I
30:30
like, I like you said
30:33
on a recent episode that it may have
30:35
been the one with a Kutchin about,
30:37
you know, this seems to be an instrument to keep
30:40
us thinking and evolving and
30:42
imagining what the possibilities are
30:45
out there and keep questioning reality.
30:47
And that's something that we've definitely talked about on the
30:49
show. Mm-hmm. Well, I also loved how you
30:52
said the paranormal,
30:52
just, you know, being involved in the paranormal
30:55
and, and looking into this stuff has, has
30:57
a way of enchanting your life and infusing
31:00
magic into one's life. And I, and
31:02
I just love that idea because life
31:04
can feel so dull, but when you accept the
31:07
mystery that some of these things are offering
31:09
to us, it does add this enchantment
31:11
to your life. It can feel magical at
31:13
moments when it can otherwise not,
31:16
you know, I love that. Yeah, I, I, I
31:18
totally agree. Thank you, man. And I do
31:20
feel strongly that way because
31:22
I recently heard a friend of mine named
31:24
Ren Collier recently was just saying in a
31:27
piece he wrote that the
31:29
future is wack, man, or like, you
31:31
know, the world is so crazy that if
31:34
you don't program your own life, they're
31:36
going to program, someone's going to program one for
31:38
you. And that kind of scared me when I read it. And
31:41
I want to live like a pretty positive life
31:43
and be like good to my friends and family, but
31:45
I also want to chase mystery because
31:48
chasing mystery is how
31:50
you end up being coming a better reader, a better
31:52
researcher, a better person.
31:55
You kind of get out of your comfort zone. Like, even
31:57
though I live in Omaha, Nebraska, it's still like a city,
31:59
you know. There's like a million people here. If
32:02
I didn't like this stuff, I wouldn't go out to like rural
32:05
small towns. And when you go out to rural small
32:07
towns, like, you know, being a city boy my
32:09
whole life, you really see another side
32:11
of human beings, you know? And like, even
32:13
though we have a lot, I mean, I don't know, I'm saying really hippy
32:16
dippy here, but. No. I do think,
32:19
enchanting your life is a way to have an adventurous
32:21
life and to chase mystery. And I think
32:23
what could be a more positive thing to
32:25
do? I think that's beautiful.
32:28
That's a great moment to take a quick
32:30
pause and we'll be right back with more Steve Berg.
32:33
Word up. And more enchantment. Yes.
32:37
Let's talk about cold
32:39
turkey. Oh boy. It may be
32:41
great on sandwiches, but there's a better
32:44
way to break your bad habits. We're
32:46
not talking about going to see Yuri Geller
32:48
and get your mind bent like
32:50
some cheap spoon. No,
32:53
we're talking about our sponsor Fume. And
32:56
they look at the problem in a different way. Not
32:58
everything in a bad habit is wrong. Okay.
33:01
Can we finally admit that? So
33:03
instead of drastic uncomfortable
33:05
changes, why not just remove the
33:07
bad part from your bad
33:10
habit? Fume is an innovative
33:13
award-winning flavored air device
33:15
that does just that. Instead
33:17
of vapor, Fume uses flavored air. Instead
33:19
of electronics, Fume is completely
33:22
natural. And instead of harmful
33:24
chemicals, Fume uses delicious
33:26
flavors. You get it. You
33:29
get it. Instead of bad, Fume
33:32
is good. It's a habit you're free
33:34
to enjoy and makes replacing your bad
33:36
habit easy. Your Fume comes with an adjustable
33:39
airflow dial and it's designed with movable
33:41
parts and magnets for fidgeting,
33:43
giving your fingers a lot to do, which is helpful
33:46
for de-stressing and anxiety while
33:48
breaking your habit. I'm gonna let you guys in on
33:50
a little secret. Your
33:53
boy, Michael, he used to be a bad boy. He
33:55
had some bad habits. And boy,
33:58
oh boy, I wish that... Fume
34:00
had been around during my bad
34:02
habit era. The
34:04
taste is delicious, it's more flavorful
34:07
than you might think. It's very fresh.
34:10
It reminds me of a nice chamomile
34:13
tea. The feel of
34:15
the device is it's well weighted,
34:18
it's perfectly balanced, it's very fun to fidget
34:20
with. If you got a finger
34:22
fixation or an oral fixation,
34:25
the Fume flavored Air Device
34:28
is
34:28
the way to go. You feel
34:30
cool using it.
34:33
Stopping is something we all put off because
34:35
it's hard, but switching to Fume is
34:37
easy, enjoyable and even fun. Fume
34:41
has served over 150,000 customers and has

36:20
Okay, Steve, you're not getting out of here without
36:22
playing a game that we play with all of
36:24
our guests. You
36:56
know, you're an actor, you need a little motivation to be together.
37:00
Alright, you're
37:02
in a warehouse, they've yanked the black hood off
37:04
of your head. Oh god, no! They've surrounded
37:07
you, and now they're... And
37:09
now they want to know what you think. Okay, I love
37:11
this. Alright, here we go, this is a game we call Bullshit
37:14
or Believe It.
37:16
Steve Berg, on your mark, get
37:19
set,
37:20
ghosts. Believe it.
37:23
Bigfoot. Believe it. UFOs.
37:26
Vampires. Don't believe bullshit.
37:29
Werewolves.
37:31
Bullshit. Is that the same thing as Dog
37:33
Man?
37:34
No. Okay, them as one? No? Okay,
37:37
I'm gonna say... So
37:39
I'm gonna say bullshit to the poor girls. Okay, hold
37:41
on, quit, keep stalling, I pulled up the wrong
37:43
list and I don't know why I did this, hold on. No,
37:46
no, no. This is the
37:48
first time I've ruined my own game. No, that's
37:50
okay, we'll fill this space. I was doing
37:53
the zombie Bigfoot list. The difference between,
37:55
I think, a werewolf and Dog Man is that
37:57
werewolf starts as a man and turns into a
37:59
werewolf.
37:59
Wolf as the full moon at night
38:02
and a dog man We don't we don't we don't even
38:04
know if they ever were human even though
38:06
sometimes they are reported seeing Wearing
38:09
some type of like clothes or pelt or
38:11
something whatever they're wearing We don't know if they were ever
38:14
the lore as they were never human that we just know
38:16
them to be these dog like
38:18
canine Cryptids
38:21
you absolutely you nailed it you nailed it. That's
38:23
exactly what the difference is and they're you're right.
38:25
You're right I mean they are different deals. All
38:28
right, I'm back in was a man
38:30
that's watch I Don't
38:35
know enough I'll say bullshit hairy
38:37
alien UFO knots Believe
38:40
it the beast of Galvadon Believe
38:42
it goat man. Believe it Momo
38:45
believe it the yowie believe it
38:47
the Jersey devil Fuck
38:51
believe it mystery big cats Believe
38:54
it Sasquatch believe it Bigfoot
38:57
bodies were recovered after the eruption of Mount Saint
38:59
Helens I want to believe it by think
39:01
bullshit Bigfoot creatures have penetrated the
39:03
subterranean infrastructure of Edwards Air Force
39:05
Base You
39:09
could outsmart a werewolf bullshit
39:13
interdimensional Sasquatch Believe
39:15
it telepathic Sasquatch believe
39:17
it invisible Sasquatch believe it Bigfoot
39:20
looks blurry in every photo because he is blurry
39:23
Finally in our original timeline the famous Bears
39:25
family last name was spelled Berenstain not
39:28
Berenstain a Bullshit
39:31
man, it was Berenstain Well
39:36
done that one is weird though, right
39:38
I mean, what were you guys on the Berenstain? I'm
39:41
a Berenstain since day one
39:43
because I have a specific memory questioning
39:46
this being like as I was
39:49
learning to read and I looked at
39:51
the title of the book and I Asked my
39:53
mom. I was like wait Why are they
39:55
called the Berenstain Bears, but it's spelled
39:58
this way and she's like, that's just how they spell spell
40:00
their name. Okay. Okay. That's
40:02
interesting. I bet you, I mean like that's, that's
40:04
probably what it is. We all called it that, but
40:06
it was spelled. Yeah. And we couldn't
40:09
read at the time. We were too young,
40:11
most of us. Did you just,
40:13
you just destroyed the Mandela
40:16
effect for me. I was in that timeline
40:18
to begin with. And I'm
40:20
from the ultimate time.
40:23
That's likely. Um,
40:26
yeah, you think those bodies amount to St. Helens
40:29
probably didn't, didn't happen. Right. I would love
40:31
that to be true, but it's just, I, other
40:33
side from a story, I just don't know
40:36
how, it's a great story. It seems
40:38
like one of those 90, early 90s internet. Like,
40:41
yeah, like message board forums. I remember
40:44
hearing about it and go, dude, really? Yeah.
40:46
That's some early, that's some like 90s, early
40:49
90s coast to coast fodder for me. Yeah.
40:52
That's exactly where it probably came from. Yeah. That
40:54
is back again. That's when, that's
40:56
an example of when conspiracy theories were fun.
40:59
Yes. You're totally right. Yeah. All right.
41:01
Well, it's time for this week's story of high strangeness.
41:04
I'm going to pass the, uh, proverbial baton
41:06
over to your other host, Bryce Johnson.
41:08
Bryce, what do you got for us tonight? Great. Love
41:10
it. Can't wait.
41:11
Well, it's happening for UFOs,
41:14
but can it happen
41:16
for Bigfoot and his buddies? I'm
41:18
talking of course about Bigfoot
41:20
disclosure. Yeah.
41:23
Sure. Everyone knows about UFO
41:25
disclosure, which they call just, well,
41:27
regular old disclosure, uh,
41:30
which we're seeing play out before our very
41:32
eyes sort of, but what
41:34
about the idea that the government knows
41:37
more than they're letting on about
41:39
our gigantic, we walked right into this one. Yes,
41:41
you did. Upright walking furry
41:44
friends of the forest. Bigfoot prompting
41:46
us as a society to rally the cry.
41:49
Show us that big fee. Come
41:51
on, Mike. Give me a rally cry. Steve, you too.
41:54
Cool. Come on. Show us. I
41:56
want to see some big
41:57
feet. We are American.
41:59
and we deserve the truth. I paid taxes
42:02
and I want to know what is going on with all
42:04
those big faith. There's children walking in that forest.
42:06
I've been bluff-charged six times
42:08
on my property and I've seen purple lights.
42:11
Well there you go. Well before
42:14
the bombshell New York Times article,
42:16
glowing auras and black money, the Pentagon's
42:19
mysterious UFO program broke
42:21
in December of 2017, UFOs
42:24
were still pretty much fringe.
42:26
I mean if I told you back then that all the
42:28
major news media outlets
42:29
and even our own government
42:32
would be taking the UFO topic very
42:34
seriously, you probably would have laughed
42:36
in my face. But it happened.
42:39
It's happening. But
42:41
you could hold, but could that hold
42:43
true for Bigfoot as well? Perhaps
42:46
one day on the front page of the New York Times,
42:49
there will read a headline that says, Walking
42:51
Giants in Black Money, the Pentagon's
42:54
Mysterious Bigfoot Program. So
42:57
let's examine what it would take
42:59
for Bigfoot to go mainstream
43:02
like UFOs have recently. So
43:04
we can finally
43:05
get us some of that long-awaited, highly
43:08
anticipated, sweet, sweet
43:11
Bigfoot disclosure. Let's
43:13
go.
43:14
The way I see it, one of the first
43:17
things Bigfoot would need in order for
43:19
the people to demand Bigfoot disclosure
43:22
would be some type of large-scale
43:24
secret government cover-up. A
43:27
cover-up that the
43:29
public is well aware of and highly
43:31
suspicious about. The UFOs
43:33
have one, and it's a big one, you
43:36
guessed it, the Roswell incident, where
43:38
in July of 47, a flying saucer from
43:41
outer space crashed somewhere in the New Mexican
43:44
desert where it was discovered by
43:46
a
43:46
rancher and covertly retrieved
43:48
by the local Army Air Force and
43:50
taken back to the nearby base. The
43:53
event was reported to the Roswell Daily
43:55
Record, which splashed a front page headline
43:57
that read, RAAF captures
43:59
a
43:59
flying saucer on ranch in Roswell
44:02
region.
44:03
However, that original story was
44:05
officially retracted by Uncle
44:07
Sam the next day by explaining
44:09
to the general public that all those intelligence
44:12
officers simply made a boo-boo
44:14
by mistaking the weather balloon for
44:17
a piloted alien spacecraft.
44:19
Whoopsies! And with that,
44:22
a cover-up conspiracy legend
44:24
was born.
44:26
What does Bigfoot have? Nothing as
44:28
good as that. I'll tell you that much. You
44:30
guys already touched on it. The closest
44:32
Bigfoot has- I had no clue we were going here tonight.
44:35
I had no idea. You stepped right into
44:37
it. The closest Bigfoot has to
44:40
a government cover-up conspiracy that
44:42
I can think of is the one
44:44
about Bigfoot bodies removed
44:47
after Mount St. Helens eruption
44:49
in 1980. That's right.
44:51
The theory goes that after the
44:53
sudden eruption of Mount St. Helens,
44:56
one of North America's largest dormant
44:58
volcanoes on May 18th, 1980, the state
45:00
of Washington declared a
45:03
state of emergency and mobilized
45:06
government and civilian agencies to
45:08
coordinate efforts in order to respond to the
45:10
eruption's immediate and long-term impacts.
45:13
And while at least the human population
45:15
had an early warning resulting
45:17
in only 57 losses of life,
45:20
the wildlife in the area suffered devastation
45:22
and loss as well as the over 250 square
45:25
miles that were
45:27
obliterated by the volcanic blast
45:30
and subsequent lava field. Well,
45:33
while during the cleanup, multiple reports
45:35
came in from civilians as well as
45:38
government individuals who claimed
45:40
to have come across what can only be described
45:42
as dead Bigfoot bodies, which
45:45
were subsequently reported to the government
45:47
authorities and resulted in an immediate
45:50
covert body recovery and
45:52
cover-up operation. inside
46:00
a cargo net? Yes please.
46:03
But unlike the crash at Roswell, the
46:06
evidence was marginal at best
46:08
and it certainly didn't capture America's
46:11
attention like Roswell did. So
46:13
what else would Bigfoot need to get some street
46:16
cred? How about a secret
46:18
government program? That's
46:21
right for Bigfoot to get some serious credibility
46:23
in the streets, we would have to uncover
46:26
some type of good evidence for the existence
46:28
of a secret government program looking
46:31
into the validity of the Bigfoot phenomenon.
46:33
In the New York Times article
46:36
we learned that 22 million dollars over
46:38
five years would be allocated to study
46:40
and investigate the UFO UAP
46:43
phenomenon at a place called Skinwalker
46:45
Ranch somewhere in the northeastern
46:47
desert of Utah. Late Senators
46:49
Ted Stevens, a Republican from Alaska
46:51
and Daniel Anui, a Democrat
46:53
from Hawaii along with Senate Majority Leader
46:56
Harry Reid from Nevada approved
46:58
a secretive UFO study program
47:01
called ATIP or the Advanced
47:04
Aerospace Threat Identification
47:06
Program which was tasked with learning
47:08
as much as possible about the potential
47:10
threats that UFOs pose to our national
47:13
security and so ATIP was
47:15
born. But Bigfoot
47:17
doesn't have any kind of secretive government
47:20
study program like that at least
47:22
that we know of although rumors are
47:24
abound. I even myself
47:27
have explored some tempting leads on my
47:29
show Expedition Bigfoot where I spoke
47:31
with individuals who told me firsthand that
47:33
there are US intelligence agencies
47:36
who know about the existence of these creatures
47:39
and are doing everything in their power to capture
47:41
and study one in order to exploit
47:43
it for defense purposes. But
47:46
we don't have any concrete proof
47:47
of that, nothing even close. Not
47:50
like we do at the ATIP program which we
47:52
know existed thanks to the hard
47:54
work of good investigative journalism. The
47:57
closest we ever came to finding out
47:59
is that the US government had taken an interest
48:01
in Bigfoot was when in the 1970s,
48:04
the FBI examined some hair samples
48:06
that were believed to be from an unknown primate,
48:09
possibly Bigfoot.
48:11
The hair samples were submitted for analysis by
48:13
various individuals and organizations interested
48:16
in cryptozoology. The results
48:19
of the FBI analysis conducted by
48:21
the FBI's Hair and Fiber Unit concluded
48:23
that the hair samples were from known
48:26
animals, such as bears and other common
48:28
wildlife, rather than from an unknown
48:30
primate. So, no help there.
48:34
And come to think of it, you know what else would be a really smart
48:36
PR move for Bigfoot?
48:38
Some Bigfoot congressional hearings
48:41
could really turn the heat up. In
48:43
July of this year, some truly
48:45
unbelievable things were said at a
48:48
congressional hearing on UFOs
48:50
when retired major David Grouche,
48:53
who went from being part of the Pentagon's UAP
48:55
task force to becoming a whistleblower,
48:58
told the House Oversight Committee's National
49:00
Security Subcommittee that he
49:02
had been denied access to some government
49:05
UFO programs, but that he knows
49:07
the, quote, exact
49:08
locations of UAPs
49:11
in US possession. He also said
49:13
that the US recovered non-human,
49:16
quote, unquote, biologics from the
49:18
crash site. Non-human biologics
49:21
from a crash site? Now, that's something
49:23
that grabbed not only headlines across
49:26
the nation, but everyone's attention
49:28
as well. I mean, Bigfoot hasn't
49:30
grabbed a headline like that in a long
49:32
time, let alone had the
49:34
House Oversight Committee's National Security
49:37
Subcommittee's attention. Well,
49:40
well played, UFOs, well
49:43
played. And finally,
49:46
for your gym crush not to giggle, when
49:48
you bring up your belief in Bigfoot because
49:50
the government is finally taking it seriously,
49:53
Bigfoot would need to have, what,
49:56
any guesses, gentlemen?
50:01
Steve? A body? Well,
50:04
that would be a great start. That
50:07
would be good. But
50:09
you know what he would need first is
50:12
a task force. That's right,
50:15
perhaps more than any other gesture
50:17
to the American public to say
50:19
that yes, we take UFO
50:21
seriously was for the Department of Defense
50:24
to establish a UAP task
50:26
force, the Unidentified Aerial
50:29
Phenomena Task Force, a U.S.
50:31
government effort dedicated to investigating
50:33
reports of unidentified aerial
50:35
phenomena or simply UFOs. The
50:38
task force was established to better
50:40
understand and assess the reports
50:42
which involve sightings of objects in the sky
50:45
that exhibit flight characteristics or behaviors
50:47
that cannot be readily explained. And
50:50
even though the UAP task force's work is primarily
50:52
focused on assessing potential national
50:55
security implications of these sightings
50:58
and not really specifically focused on the
51:00
broader question of the origin
51:02
of extraterrestrial life associated
51:04
with these crafts. Still, it's a damn
51:06
good start. Unfortunately
51:08
for Bigfoot, it looks like he's
51:11
going to have to wait for his cool shoulder patch
51:13
from the Department of Interior because there
51:15
is no officially sanctioned government body
51:18
or group officially looking into
51:20
Bigfoot
51:21
that we know of. So why
51:24
has it been different for UFOs than it has
51:26
for Bigfoot? Both have purportedly
51:28
been around for centuries, if not thousands
51:30
of years. Both have been reported
51:33
not only here in America, but all over
51:35
the world.
51:36
Both are reported in the hundreds, if not thousands
51:39
on a yearly basis and
51:41
both are seen and experienced by credible
51:43
individuals as well as trained observers
51:46
in the military and law enforcement.
51:48
And both have left behind puzzling
51:51
and confounding evidence. The
51:53
similarities are more common than you might think.
51:55
So what gives? Well,
51:58
here's what I think.
51:59
I think the main reason
52:02
that UFOs are experiencing a
52:04
renaissance, so to speak, whereas Bigfoot
52:07
is still considered by most to be purely
52:09
fictional or mythological, is
52:11
because we are in the technological
52:14
age. We are moved by information
52:17
at a paralyzing speed. We
52:20
as a species are itching
52:22
to leave Earth's placenta and
52:24
it's the UFO that represents our
52:26
departure or birth to
52:29
keep the metaphor going.
52:29
Bigfoot represents
52:32
our past, a return to
52:34
nature. And although there are a large
52:36
number of people and groups who rebuke metropolitan
52:39
life and technological advances and
52:41
who are in fact living in a symbiotic relationship
52:44
with nature, they're the minority to be
52:46
sure. The vast majority of our
52:48
civilization sees nature as something
52:51
to be conquered, overcome, a
52:53
place to gain and acquire vast resources.
52:56
But I think where they both get it wrong
52:59
is that in order to fulfill mankind's
53:01
destiny amongst the stars and
53:04
to explore other galaxies and spread
53:06
our galactic seeds, so to speak, we're
53:08
going to need both technologies. The
53:11
technology of the future that
53:13
the UFO seems to hold and its
53:15
ability to conquer time and space,
53:18
which appear to be mere hindrances for these
53:20
craft that can change shape and density
53:23
and travel back and forth between time
53:25
and side to side between space. But
53:28
we also need the technology of the
53:30
past, which is the ability
53:32
to move between worlds as well.
53:35
Not time and space like UFOs,
53:38
but between the material world and
53:40
the spirit world like Bigfoot
53:43
does, to be able to walk between
53:45
both worlds at ease and commune
53:47
with nature as well as your ancestors
53:50
while still living. In other words,
53:52
to live in a society where the
53:54
general consensus is that we are spiritual
53:57
beings living a material
53:59
existence.
53:59
And this is what Bigfoot represents.
54:03
I'm of the opinion that we need to
54:05
marry the two as they are both
54:07
equally important to our ever evolving
54:09
species. We as humans
54:12
need to be technologically advanced
54:15
and spiritually advanced. This
54:18
is the alchemical dance that's
54:21
going to be required in order to
54:23
achieve our metamorphosis, shed
54:25
our chrysalis and take our rightful
54:28
place amongst the stars.
54:30
At least that's what I think.
54:33
So for now I'll just keep holding my breath
54:35
till I get some of that sweet sweet
54:38
Bigfoot disclosure. What
54:40
do you guys think? Will Bigfoot ever
54:43
get the same kind of mainstream
54:45
respect UFOs are seeing
54:47
today? I
54:52
just first off want to say I thought that
54:54
was absolutely beautiful and I
54:56
think you're onto something. I
54:58
think you might have just, I think you are sniffing around
55:01
man. That is gorgeous. Thank
55:03
you. Truly, I mean like you know,
55:05
and it was really, that was, that moved me and
55:08
made me think. I
55:11
don't think they will simply because
55:15
what it seems like Congress in the
55:17
whole hubbub with like the UFO disclosure
55:19
thing is like national security, national
55:21
security. Now if there comes a time where Bigfoot
55:23
is posing a threat on national security, then
55:26
there's going to be a clamoring for
55:28
Bigfoot disclosure. But I
55:30
think what a, like
55:32
just to the spiritual side that you were so eloquently
55:35
laying down on us. I
55:37
think, you know, while
55:40
we live in a very polarized, you know, country,
55:43
very like split, Bigfoot
55:45
could be the great uniter because I feel like people
55:47
on the right, they love Bigfoot people
55:49
on the left. I think they like Bigfoot
55:52
too. Well, you know, here's the
55:54
thing. I
56:01
think everyone likes the idea of Bigfoot, right?
56:03
Like at least, I mean, like if you don't, then
56:05
like, I'm sorry, you're boring.
56:08
But it could be this great
56:10
thing to where like, maybe
56:12
putting like a real deal effort,
56:16
like a real effort into trying
56:19
to locate and study the
56:22
Bigfoot phenomenon is worthy. I mean, like
56:24
all jokes aside, I think what
56:27
would that mean for us? Especially if like, if
56:29
they find, you know, they discover a Bigfoot and it is
56:31
just a flesh and blood kind of missing link animal.
56:34
Well, that's great. It's huge,
56:36
man. I think that would be like such a positive
56:38
thing for the world
56:40
really. We have a new gorilla. I
56:43
mean, that's neat. I'm sorry.
56:46
It happens more often than people think. I
56:48
think just off the coast of Mexico, they discovered
56:51
a new species of whale recently. So,
56:54
you know, it happens more often than people
56:56
think. These giant species
56:58
are still being discovered on planet earth.
57:01
Absolutely, man. And if Bigfoot,
57:03
like, let's say it turns out to be
57:05
Bigfoot, it's like a high, strange, weird, you
57:08
know, non-human entity from the astral
57:10
plane. Well, that probably
57:12
is a better way to understand the UFO phenomenon
57:15
than actually like, you know, talking
57:17
to F-14 pilots who saw some, you
57:20
know, I'm so skeptical
57:22
of everything that comes out of the military's mouth
57:24
in terms of that stuff. They have an agenda,
57:27
but witnesses, you know,
57:29
they always throw away like, you know, Joe
57:32
Bucks had like a UFO landing in his backyard. I'm
57:34
almost more interested in Joe Bucks' case
57:37
than someone from the Air Force,
57:39
to be honest. But I do think, like, let's
57:41
say they did look into Bigfoot and they noticed
57:43
some of the weirdness, some of the high, strange aspects,
57:47
that could be a better tell of what the
57:49
UFO phenomenon is than the way they're studying it
57:51
now. So, to be honest, I
57:53
think it's a worthy cause, my man. I
57:55
think, you convinced me. All
57:58
right. Dave, I... I literally couldn't
58:00
say it better myself. So I'm
58:02
just gonna hitch my little wagon to yours
58:06
and say, same. Yeah, I
58:08
mean, you took the words out of my mouth, especially
58:10
with the like, I have a feeling if they start
58:13
digging into the UFO stuff truly,
58:15
deeply enough, they will start studying
58:17
Bigfoot. But I do think
58:20
it's a matter of national security.
58:23
It's an animal that might be running around in
58:25
the woods versus things
58:27
that are in our airspace. And
58:30
unless there's some sort of secret
58:33
program that either Russia
58:36
or China has to like, genetically
58:38
design primates to
58:40
spy on us, they're
58:43
not really gonna pay too much. They're not gonna put their
58:45
resources into it.
58:48
I think they're looking at what is flying over
58:51
and could possibly be observing our
58:53
weapons capabilities. And that's why the UFO stuff
58:56
gets so much attention. And maybe more
58:58
witnesses too at the end of the day. There might be
59:00
just more UFO witnesses out there than
59:03
Bigfoot, you know? Cause all you gotta
59:05
do is look up to see a UFO. Right. What
59:08
I would say, and if I may put on a conspiratorial
59:11
hat, let's suppose
59:13
there is something to Bigfoot,
59:15
right? Let's just like, not a doubt
59:17
in the mind, we all know there's something to Bigfoot. Let's just say that,
59:19
for example, if that is
59:22
true, I would be pretty
59:24
certain that the
59:27
government or military or national
59:30
park system has
59:32
more data than we do. Oh
59:35
sure. Yeah, yeah. Right. So
59:37
if there is something to Bigfoot, you would think there would
59:39
be more data actually, you know, like
59:42
in the government. And if there is something to Bigfoot,
59:45
why would they not be interested in studying that? And
59:47
so like the thing is like, even
59:50
like you mentioned John Tenney earlier, like let's say
59:52
John Tenney told you the best, the
59:55
most surefire place to experience like
59:58
a ghost or something paranormal. Well,
1:00:00
why would the government not be interested
1:00:02
in
1:00:03
the paranormal 100%? So I think
1:00:05
I think they've been studying this stuff You
1:00:08
know for as long as there's been a military
1:00:10
and along as long as there's been a government hundred
1:00:13
I mean I think spiritualism and all this
1:00:15
stuff.
1:00:16
I think has been taken a lot more seriously than
1:00:18
we'll probably ever know. Mmm Well
1:00:20
put love it.
1:00:21
Yep, maybe maybe find
1:00:24
out maybe we'll find out before we die
1:00:26
