Again, enjoy this teaser. It's.

1:01

A good one. There's. A break in the

1:03

tree so I could see these grassy areas like

1:05

kind of went and steps and I just made

1:07

a note to myself hey. I'll come

1:09

back tomorrow. Hit it early, get down there

1:12

and c. L get down there

1:14

before even daylight and you know. Lay

1:17

up somewhere. But I

1:19

decided today on the fall this game trail

1:21

and I turned. Had

1:23

only gonna few steps and

1:25

I hear these five distinct.

1:28

Knox. And

1:30

the best way I could describe I'm it's like

1:33

if you spell that out in a comic book.

1:35

Th. Okay fuck. Just.

1:39

Five. Evenly spaced.

1:41

Fuck fuck. And.

1:44

It. Was coming directly from.

1:47

One. Of those the what I could. Tell.

1:50

It first probably the furthest

1:52

clearing somewhere down there. And.

1:55

I remember stopping in. Looking.

1:58

And going. one someone doing down

2:01

there beating on a tree? There's no people

2:03

up here. This is horrible

2:05

terrain that we haven't seen anybody in a

2:08

couple days and

2:10

I just thought okay, yeah whatever

2:12

that's weird. I don't know. Sound

2:14

carries but sure you

2:17

know sounds like it was about 250-300 yards down slope and I thought I don't

2:23

know what to do but you know

2:25

times daylight's burning I'm gonna leave and

2:28

so I was. I was just gonna keep falling the

2:30

trail and then I hear

2:32

two more. Fuck, fuck and they're

2:35

from the same relative

2:37

position so I

2:40

was like okay you know what I

2:42

haven't seen anything this sounds weird let's

2:44

go see what's going on and

2:47

at this point I kind

2:49

of I was just

2:51

thinking if these are people what would

2:53

they be doing down there? This doesn't

2:55

sound like someone cutting wood it just

2:58

sounds like someone taking a big you

3:01

know a big chunk of wood and just whacking it

3:03

on a tree. I'm like this doesn't

3:05

make any sense but alright

3:08

let's go find out what it is. I'm bored so

3:10

I start going down the slope and like I

3:12

said it would

3:14

go in steps so slope down and then hit

3:17

a little bit of grass in that

3:19

first little patch I actually saw elk

3:22

sign it was a little bit old

3:24

but it was there and I

3:28

stopped because I'm trying

3:30

to listen for additional

3:32

sounds I'm looking down

3:34

there to see if there's movement and

3:38

it's just still absolutely still calm

3:40

day the only day up there

3:42

that was even remotely like that

3:44

hardly even a blade

3:47

of grass was moving and

3:49

I went through that same thought process

3:51

like what the heck is this you

3:54

know I should probably just turn around

3:56

go back up slope probably

4:00

five minutes went by some looking and listening,

4:02

you know, and then whack, I hear

4:06

it again. So now

4:08

I'm like, okay, now I have to go figure out

4:10

what's doing this. So

4:14

my brain switched from this might be

4:16

a person down there doing who knows

4:18

what to I don't know

4:20

what type of animal, you know, I've hunted

4:22

in the Pacific Northwest my whole life. What

4:26

animal could do that? But

4:28

I thought that's the only thing that makes sense

4:30

at this point, I can't imagine a person somehow

4:33

getting up on

4:35

this mountain, not be

4:37

invisible to us on the only road which

4:39

we were at the terminal point of that

4:41

road. And what would they be

4:44

doing down there doing something like that? It

4:46

just didn't make sense. So I'm going

4:48

through animals, maybe a bear's messing

4:50

with a log, maybe something's kicking

4:52

a tree, whatever I'm going to

4:54

find out. So I start

4:56

walking down again. And I'm

4:59

stopping frequently, I had kind of

5:01

gone into stocking mode. So I'm

5:04

walking very quietly, you

5:07

know, try not to even break

5:09

the crust on the snow, that little skiff

5:11

of snow too much. And

5:13

listening, listening, I hear

5:16

nothing, the wind's not blowing, I

5:18

started thinking, maybe it's a tree

5:20

that's bumping into another tree, but

5:22

I would stop and look and a

5:25

slight breeze, maybe five mile

5:27

an hour breeze would come

5:29

up. But hardly enough

5:32

to even wiggle, like I said, grass. So

5:35

okay, that's weird. That's not it. But

5:38

I'm not hearing anything. So I'm like, I once

5:40

again, maybe I should just turn around, forget

5:43

this happened and, you know,

5:45

come back tomorrow. And then I

5:47

get another single knock. So

5:50

okay, well, whatever it is, it's still down

5:52

there doing whatever it's doing. I'm

5:54

gonna keep going. And

5:57

this repeats itself again. And

6:01

I get a third knock. And

6:04

I'm repeating the same process.

6:06

I started

6:09

moving so quietly and slowly because

6:11

I wanted, I started getting this

6:13

weird feeling that these knocks were

6:16

only coming when I was

6:19

stopped. And that didn't make any

6:21

sense, but I wasn't

6:23

hearing them while I was walking.

6:25

And once again, this whole distance was

6:27

about 250, maybe 300 yards. And

6:32

this whole time me closing on where I thought

6:34

the sound was coming from ended up being about

6:36

50 minutes. So you

6:38

can see that I wasn't

6:40

rushing and bashing through trees and

6:42

obscuring any sound. I'm listening. And

6:47

I never heard that sound until I

6:50

had been stopped for minutes. And

6:54

then I would get a single sound and that

6:56

would keep me going. And

7:02

by the time I had gotten

7:04

the fourth knock and it once again,

7:06

just repeat itself like that whole pattern.

7:10

I was now getting down off

7:12

the slope and into level ground

7:14

towards that grassy area. And

7:16

now, you know, I'm probably 50, 60

7:20

yards out from

7:22

this grassy area. And

7:24

at the end of it was

7:26

basically a wall of young trees

7:29

of different height. And

7:32

as I got, I

7:35

heard that last single fourth knock,

7:38

it really sounded to me like

7:40

it was coming from somewhere behind

7:42

that screen of trees. So,

7:45

okay, well, it's totally obscured from me.

7:48

I mean, what's behind there is obscured.

7:50

So I'm like, all right,

7:52

well, I guess I'm going to have to go right

7:54

up to it and figure out what this is somehow.

8:00

I'm level, I'm walking,

8:03

and to my right there's

8:06

this little, I

8:09

describe it as a long half pipe in

8:11

the ground. It's just, if

8:13

it was run off, boy it cut a

8:16

nice smooth little um,

8:18

gulch there, but I

8:21

knew that in order to get in this

8:23

clearing I would have to cross that, and

8:25

once I crossed that, all the trees that

8:27

I thought I was using as cover, there

8:29

was intermittent freeze that I was trying

8:32

to move behind a little bit because

8:35

my thinking is, oh I'm gonna sneak up

8:38

on some animal doing something weird, so let's

8:40

be quiet and see

8:42

what what it's doing and how it's making that sound. And

8:46

so I'm getting closer,

8:50

and when I reach the edge

8:52

of that little dip in the ground I

8:54

stop and go, okay, once

8:57

you cross this you are now

8:59

in the clearing and you're out

9:01

in the wide open, so if

9:03

something's back there it can possibly

9:06

see you, so I'm I'm

9:09

just kind of like, okay, getting ready,

9:11

you know, I had my rifle to

9:14

my nut up, but get

9:16

a little ready, so butt stock in

9:18

my shoulder, muzzle down

9:20

towards the ground, and

9:23

I take a deep breath, I'm like, all right, here we go,

9:26

and right as I'm about

9:28

to do that comes, I

9:31

can only describe it like a slow rate

9:33

of fire machine gun, but it's the the

9:36

the deep wood knocks just, boom,

9:39

boom, boom, boom, is fast, I mean like

9:42

a machine gun, and

9:44

but loud, deep,

9:47

not like a stick cracking against a

9:49

tree, but the same deep thick

9:52

sounding knocks, but just like rapid

9:55

fire, and

9:57

I just was like, what the What

10:00

is going on here? And

10:02

I'm like, okay, well, and

10:05

I remember saying this in my

10:07

head, I'm like, well, it's definitely behind

10:09

those trees because that's where that sound

10:11

came from. And

10:13

so I'm like, all right, oh

10:16

boy. And I'm getting a little nervous because

10:18

I'm like, I can't see

10:20

into those trees. So maybe I

10:22

should kind of skirt out into this

10:24

clearing and work my way

10:26

around. The trees kind of went in a, imagine

10:30

a capital J and I was below

10:32

the foot of the J and

10:35

the trees kind of arced around.

10:38

And I thought, okay, I'll loop around. So, and

10:40

just keep some distance

10:42

from these trees in case some animal comes

10:44

barreling out at me. So

10:47

take a deep breath, get the

10:49

rifle steady, once you get

10:51

not pointing it, those

10:55

rules of gun safety, I've been handling guns since

10:57

I was four. I didn't have a target. I

10:59

didn't know what was back there. I'm

11:01

not gonna point my firearm at anything. Take

11:06

a deep breath and I step out into the

11:08

open and it

11:10

was like, I made

11:12

it maybe two, three steps. And

11:16

this thing, I

11:19

tried describing it to someone else it

11:23

was like having a bomb go off right in front of

11:25

me. This thing, I don't know what

11:29

the hell it was swinging, but

11:34

it must've been picked up a small tree

11:36

and just the force

11:38

and violence behind this was just a

11:40

kaboom. I

11:43

mean, it just smashed into, I

11:46

don't know. It

11:48

floored me. I mean, I literally, if

11:51

someone could have caught me on video, I just

11:54

stumbled backwards, Almost

11:56

tripped and fell over. I've got all my gear

11:58

on my back, my rifle. Swann, Yen

12:01

and I just staggered back

12:03

in stock. And.

12:07

I look up. And.

12:12

It. All

12:16

in all I could see was. The.

12:20

The chest up, Sauna.

14:07

podcast no matter

14:09

what. But I need your help to get there.

14:12

I figured it out and we

14:15

need approximately 700 more people

14:18

in the Patreon in order to

14:20

reach our goal of going full-time,

14:23

actually able to go to places and

14:27

people that have been having Bigfoot

14:30

activity, interview them face-to-face, check

14:32

it out for myself, all that good stuff. If

14:35

you guys can, guys, this

14:38

is the time. If

14:54

much the final level. You

14:59

15:01

become a supporting member, please share

15:04

this episode everywhere you

15:06

can. Share it with anyone

15:08

who's into Bigfoot encounters and

15:11

that means a world to me as

15:13

well. Thank you all for listening

15:16

and we'll see you next time. Svena's

15:23

Bigfoot journey is

15:28

made possible through donations

15:32

from the

15:54

South Africa Film

15:57

Foundation I

16:06

can get on here and we can tell our stories. Maybe

16:08

there's somebody else out there listening that's too

16:10

afraid to tell their story. Maybe

16:13

this will give them the courage to come out.

16:15

And now I feel so bad about it. Who

16:17

cares what anybody thinks? I know what I saw.

16:20

I know what's out there. That's

16:22

all I care about. Please let

16:27

people know.

16:39

Please

16:41

let them know if you ever see

16:43

one of these things, you need

16:46

to tell. Because if you don't,

16:48

then shame on you. You know? Shame

16:50

on you.
