2:12
thank you, that's society. We've got the privilege
2:14
of talking to Dee tonight. Dee's a listener
2:16
from the great state of Oregon and he
2:18
has a few encounters to share. But how's
2:20
it going tonight, Dee? It's
2:23
going real good, Jeremiah. Awesome.
2:25
I'm excited to hear, I've
2:28
heard a little bit about what you've experienced,
2:30
but I'm going to go ahead and give
2:33
it right over to you and feel free
2:35
to share what you'd like about what you
2:37
experienced. Sure.
2:39
Well, I'd like
2:42
to start out and give a little background. I
2:44
grew up in Eastern
2:46
Oregon and I was
2:48
out in the woods a lot. My grandpa
2:51
was a logger and he buy
2:53
a hundred and fished with him and he took
2:55
me everywhere. I was out in the woods. And
2:59
with the experiences I had there, you know,
3:02
at that time, very little
3:04
known about Bigfoot,
3:06
but never experienced anything. I've
3:11
been around bears, cougars, you
3:13
name it. I've had cougars within five feet of
3:16
me. I've heard them scream. Bears
3:18
have been even closer. So
3:22
going into the
3:24
story, I wanted to bring
3:27
the same thing to my kids. Since I had
3:30
my son and I took him everywhere with me.
3:32
We were out in the woods a lot getting
3:34
wood. We were hunting, fishing. And
3:38
this one time, him and
3:41
I were
3:43
going to head out hunting. My
3:46
brother, oldest brother was going to bring
3:48
his fifth wheel up in the woods. And
3:50
we were going to use it. Well, my
3:52
son and I decided to go early.
3:56
So we went a day early
3:58
and we were just going to wait for my brother. Now,
4:00
I've been out in the woods before.
4:02
I've camped, I've dry camped, I've had
4:04
tents, I've slept in pickups and everything
4:06
else. So it
4:10
was nothing unusual if
4:12
Brother didn't show up or just stay out in
4:14
the woods. Well,
4:16
we got up there, started getting
4:19
dark. We were up
4:21
above Vlala. And
4:24
I told him, you know, let's
4:26
stop, let's build us a fire and
4:29
get something to eat. And
4:32
at the time, my son was pretty
4:34
close to 10 years old. He hadn't
4:37
quite, he was nine years and a month
4:39
to go. And
4:44
so we sat down, we found
4:47
a spot, it was a wide road. And
4:50
we pulled up in this clearing and we just kind
4:52
of parked and lit
4:54
us a fire and got out some stuff
4:58
to eat. We were eaten and
5:00
the forest, now what was weird,
5:03
when we were there, we had our fire going,
5:05
but it was just completely quiet the minute the
5:07
sun went down. Not
5:10
a sound. And
5:12
to me, that was strange because
5:14
I hadn't encountered much of
5:17
anything like that. So you hear something,
5:20
crickets or something, you just hear something,
5:22
it's just not that
5:24
quiet. So
5:27
we ate and we were talking and you
5:29
know, the son kept asking me, his uncle David
5:32
is going to show up and I said, well,
5:34
he'll show up when he gets here. It's no
5:36
big deal. And
5:39
we talked for a couple hours just
5:41
by the fire, chatting. Well
5:44
about 9 30 at a distance. Now
5:47
if I had to guess, I'd hate
5:50
to guess because there's lots of draws
5:52
around there and canyons and something can
5:54
sound far away and it's
5:57
not far away or you hear it and it
5:59
sounds like it's close, but it's far away.
6:02
It's just the way that the sound echoes
6:04
through those draws. And
6:08
we heard something, a scream. And I'll tell
6:10
you, once I heard a big screen, you
6:12
know, I said, that was it. That
6:14
was it. Yes. Oh
6:18
my goodness. Loud, but far away.
6:21
My son looks up at me with his big
6:23
eyes. He says, dad, what is
6:26
that? Ah,
6:28
so don't worry about it. Just, I
6:30
don't know, animal holler. No big deal.
6:33
Now, if you kind of looked inside of me,
6:36
you would have seen me going, Oh man, what
6:38
is that? This is, this
6:40
is awesome and scary at the same time.
6:43
Cause you don't know what it is. I mean, it's
6:46
pure darkness around us. So
6:50
he kind of, he kind of says, Oh, I
6:53
said, this far away. Anyway, don't worry about it. No
6:56
big deal. So we
6:58
were, we were talking some more and
7:01
it was pretty close. And
7:04
the reason I know the times is I was waiting
7:06
for my brother. So I kept looking up my watch,
7:09
but about a half hour to an hour
7:11
later, somewhere in there, another
7:13
screen came and
7:16
it was just absolutely positive.
7:18
The same screen is the big foot
7:21
ones I've heard. And
7:23
I was just, and
7:26
he looked at me this time and he says,
7:28
dad, this is scaring me. I
7:31
said, don't worry about it. We're fine. I
7:33
mean, there's nothing out here going to get us. And
7:36
of course inside I was saying,
7:39
let's get closer. And
7:43
my first thought was, let's get
7:45
out of there. You know, I just,
7:47
something inside me just didn't want to stay.
7:50
And I thought now we got
7:53
to, gotta, we just gotta stay here
7:55
because I want to meet
7:58
my brother up there. And
8:01
it was 1130 because I looked
8:03
up my watch. It was 1130. And
8:08
that thing was right across
8:10
the road and it screamed.
8:14
And right now, even talking about it,
8:16
I get chills up my back. It
8:19
was horrendous. And
8:23
my son jumped out up and
8:25
he almost started crying. He
8:28
wanted to get in the truck. I says, well,
8:30
let's get in the truck and we'll drive down
8:32
to town. And you could hear
8:34
it rustling in the brush
8:36
a little bit, not real loud,
8:39
but rustling. But
8:41
that screen, I like
8:43
I said, I've been around cougar screens and
8:46
never ever have I had chills up
8:49
my spine like that. And
8:51
it was so loud. So
8:54
we got in the truck and
8:57
I started up the truck and
9:01
we made a loop
9:03
around to get turned around to go out
9:05
the road. Well,
9:09
the trees weren't that far away from the road. If I
9:11
had to say is about 50 yards,
9:14
but we turned around and
9:17
when our headlights came across that there was
9:19
hands and the top of a head. Looking
9:23
through a couple of the trees. It
9:27
was just, I
9:29
stopped for a second. Look, just cause I'm, I'm
9:32
not seeing this. Am I? And my son just
9:34
looked at me and says, dad, let's get out
9:36
of here. That thing's huge. He,
9:39
you saw the hands and
9:42
they had two trees split apart, two
9:44
smaller trees. They were pretty close to
9:49
when I stood under them. Cause we went up
9:51
the next day. But we, I stood under rivers
9:53
about, I was not even halfway.
9:55
So they were probably 10, 10 to 11.
10:00
feet tall, he had them spread apart, was
10:02
looking through them. And
10:04
then when we sat there for a few minutes,
10:07
the hands went back and the trees
10:09
were swaying and we got
10:11
out of there. And at
10:15
first I wanted to stay. I wanted to
10:17
see more, but then I thought for the
10:19
safety of my son, that's, you know, I
10:21
got to protect the kids more than anything.
10:24
And when it comes to wild animals, you don't really
10:26
know what they're going to do. Uh,
10:29
I don't trust
10:31
them. Don't trust wild animals whatsoever. Cause
10:34
they could be really good,
10:36
but then they can turn on you. So
10:39
anyway, we, he saw
10:41
that my son
10:43
had tears in his eyes cause he,
10:46
he was just, yeah,
10:48
I think he was going into shock myself.
10:52
And I, we got down to town and
10:55
down into the town and pulled off somewhere.
10:57
And you know, neither one
10:59
of us slept that night to wake up
11:01
the next morning to go hunt and then
11:05
my brother finally made it up and
11:07
we went back up in the woods
11:09
where we were camped and
11:12
like I said, I walked across the road and
11:15
stood by those trees that
11:18
were right next to the road
11:20
and I was a midget
11:22
to those trees. And
11:24
when I looked, I looked up to see how
11:26
high they were and the thing had to be
11:28
nine to 10 feet tall, if not a little
11:30
taller and
11:33
started scouring for tracks. And
11:37
there's, there
11:40
was the ground was real
11:42
hard, but the tall grass, the
11:45
only thing you could see was the pathway to
11:48
where it came in. And
11:50
I, I took
11:53
my son with me and
11:55
we tracked it. We
11:58
tracked the door. walking as far
12:00
as we could. And I'm no amateur tracking.
12:03
I'm not an expert, but I've tracked a
12:05
lot of game. And
12:08
we actually followed
12:10
it to where it went up over the hill
12:12
and then went down into this draw. And
12:17
we never found there was
12:19
never a good track. Like
12:22
I said, the ground was pretty hard, but
12:24
you can see the grass being laid over. And
12:28
the only reason I say I know
12:30
it was, it was a big foot
12:32
was because a grass
12:35
that was laid over was
12:37
huge compared to my foot.
12:42
I tried to show my son, I
12:44
said, see, you put your foot down.
12:46
And he says, well, yeah, but yours is
12:48
only half of what that one is. I
12:51
said, that's what I'm saying. I know what
12:53
we saw. And I know what we
12:55
were following. And
12:58
we tracked it down as far as I
13:00
wanted to go because it got real thick
13:04
and steep. And
13:06
you could, you could see through the
13:08
brush where the grass was, where it was laid
13:10
down, and you could see it where it went
13:12
down into the draw. Well,
13:15
the biggest thing about this was
13:18
number one, I wasn't looking for big foot.
13:20
And number two is it was the least
13:23
expected thing I would ever see.
13:26
There was
13:30
we weren't, we weren't, I
13:32
wasn't prepared to see it. As
13:35
far as like we're out hunting big foot,
13:37
we were out deer hunting are going to
13:39
be deer hunting the next day or two.
13:41
But and
13:44
I think that's what surprised me
13:46
the most. And in the
13:48
area that we saw it in, what was
13:50
it doing there? There's, there's
13:52
so many people out in the woods
13:54
at that time. And it was
13:58
just just a stranger. currents
14:02
and I know that he'll never forget it. And
14:04
that's, that's exactly never forget
14:07
it. That was the
14:09
hands. I saw
14:12
the fingers. I didn't see thumbs. I
14:14
just saw the fingers, hold the trees
14:16
back and looking through them. And
14:20
the hands were just huge were dark
14:22
colored, but had wrinkles
14:25
on the knuckles. Just like a
14:27
human and the top of the head
14:30
was covered with hair. It
14:32
was just hairy in it. Oh,
14:36
and the thing was just, I
14:39
can't imagine how tall it was because it, it
14:41
had to be 10, 11 feet tall. And
14:45
I was just, I was shook up, I think
14:47
just as much as my son, but I wasn't
14:49
showing him. I didn't want it.
14:52
I didn't want him scared of the woods is
14:54
the main thing. And that's
14:56
the last thing I wanted him to, to be scared
14:58
to go out in the woods. But,
15:02
uh, we, we followed it.
15:04
I looked for tracks, couldn't find anything,
15:06
uh, nothing tracked where you could
15:09
do any, any casts or anything.
15:12
But it had a big stride. Now this
15:14
is, like I said, with the grass laid
15:16
over, it
15:18
was just
15:21
almost three strides of bind, which
15:24
my stride is exactly three feet.
15:28
And so his stride was about
15:30
six foot, five foot, six foot
15:32
strides. And,
15:36
uh, that was,
15:38
that was always saw that whole time we
15:40
were up there. Cause I was hoping to
15:43
see it again, but never did. So
15:45
we're in Northeast Oregon
15:48
and did you say North
15:50
of Wallowa? Wallowa,
15:53
Wallowa, the city of Wallowa.
15:55
Yeah. Is this
15:57
like a wildlife area or a state? Parker?
16:02
No, there's a lot of federal force
16:04
service up there and it
16:06
used to be a lot of
16:08
it owned by Boise Cascade but
16:11
I think they sold it to
16:13
a land company Hancock or something but
16:16
it's it's mainly you know public
16:22
anybody in the public can get up in it yeah.

17:27

What You submitted an damn if the
18:04
out of a fair question as well
18:06
they can submit the question. Does chance
18:08
of my use it? So The Sky,
18:10
the patron ah he's got a question
18:12
and. It's it's a
18:14
good ones. What was your relation?
18:18
To the concept of Big Foot were
18:20
you a big for believer before this
18:22
event happens. I think I'd
18:24
put a curse word. I.
18:27
Was and was it. Parker,
18:30
I've got an open mind
18:32
or is dead. And
18:35
I first remember my grandpa how
18:37
they had any. Some
18:39
type of wildlife magazine where they
18:42
had there. Been
18:44
settled. From.
18:46
Mask cause I can't think of it now. Or.
18:49
They had a picture of for a
18:51
or Paris good ones film. About
18:54
beg for it. Why? Read the article
18:56
but it I look at program parsers I
18:58
grab a warrior. Growth rates are very low.
19:00
Pay for it. That's
19:02
all he said. But then. I.
19:04
Started learning more about it. As
19:07
I went along any the back then they didn't
19:09
have much on it was a few books out
19:11
there. And
19:14
of course it with a library. got a few
19:16
books. read about it. But.
19:18
Good through a way I looked at it was.
19:21
You. Know I got an open mind.
19:24
But. Until I see about gonna believe
19:27
it. For. Way. I
19:31
thought. I believe it.
19:33
So. I wasn't a fall believer,
19:35
but I was it. A tolls
19:37
get the either. And that
19:39
makes sense. Yeah, know that. it definitely
19:41
doesn't. This wasn't like you in your
19:43
son were like okay we're gone a
19:45
big so high, like you were just
19:47
trying to go out and enjoy nature
19:49
and just just happened to happen. And
19:53
that for all, think about it. And that's
19:55
why I think sometimes when. With.
19:57
Anybody, whether it be nearing that. He
19:59
also. I think when we go out
20:01
looking for Bigfoot, I
20:03
don't think you're gonna, I've not seen
20:05
one go out there looking for it. All
20:08
might have happened when I'm not
20:11
out there Bigfoot hunting. I'm just
20:14
out in the woods enjoying some
20:16
time. And
20:19
that's the thing that got me the
20:21
most because this wooded area I'm talking
20:23
about, I
20:26
started hunting and getting wood with my
20:28
grandpa when I was eight years old.
20:33
And I'd been through
20:35
all those woods with him. He logged them all.
20:37
So he took me everywhere up in there, all
20:40
over. There wasn't a bit
20:43
of that country I didn't see. And
20:47
I figured, well, it's too close to a town.
20:50
It's probably 30 miles
20:52
to the nearest town out of the
20:55
woods, but it's kind of close
20:57
to town. So you'd never see a Bigfoot out
20:59
here. That
21:01
was kind of my shot growing up. And
21:05
my visit started hunting at eight years old with
21:07
my grandpa and he put me out on walks
21:09
and said, walk down this hill and I'll meet
21:12
you down at the road, you know, type thing
21:14
where nowadays I
21:16
wouldn't let my kids do it because I'd be
21:18
too scared to get lost. But
21:23
it was not the perfect setting to
21:25
go find Bigfoot. We weren't 30 miles
21:27
or 40 miles back in the wilderness
21:30
where nobody goes. This
21:34
is where people are, which
21:37
really had me amazed at the
21:40
chance I had to see it. Oh,
21:47
absolutely. Man, I think
21:49
there's a chance your grandpa probably
21:51
saw something at one
21:53
time or another. I just have a feeling,
21:55
but I've got, you know, I'm just kind
21:58
of guessing. I'm
22:01
thinking he started logging out
22:03
in those woods in 1930 and got
22:05
his own logging company in
22:10
1941 and sold out in 1969. I
22:15
believe he was doing what I was doing to
22:18
myself. And I think he
22:21
was wanting to not make me
22:23
scared to go out in the woods. He
22:27
knew if I told him, yeah, you're a big foot
22:29
out there, they're big, you never
22:31
know what's going to happen, blah, blah, blah. You
22:34
know, eight years old or so, I would have been scared
22:36
to go out in the woods. I
22:39
was scared to death. Yeah.
22:43
He probably was doing something like
22:45
that. Yeah, I could
22:47
definitely see that. But what
22:49
year again was this that you and your
22:52
son had the experience? It
22:54
was 1997. Okay. Thinking
22:58
back to when you saw the
23:01
head and the fingers, did
23:04
you get a chance to
23:06
see like what kind of the shape
23:08
of the head was at all? Or do you
23:10
remember anything that you saw about the
23:12
head for details? The
23:15
head part I saw
23:17
was just covered with hair.
23:19
If I remember right, it had a little bit
23:21
of a cone shape, but it
23:23
wasn't prominent. You know, it wasn't like
23:25
a pyramid sitting on somebody's head, but
23:29
it was raised a little bit. But
23:33
like I said, with the hands, I
23:35
was concentrating on the hands because
23:38
I could see them just clear as day. I
23:41
mean, they were wrapped around the
23:43
tree pulling these two small trees apart.
23:45
I know it was looking over him,
23:48
but I just caught it when I came around
23:50
with the lights and stopped to where he had
23:52
enough time to put it up over his face.
23:56
But yeah, I didn't really, I
23:59
saw the hair. At what point maybe a
24:01
code say but I was looking at the hands because
24:03
they were just. Ride out
24:05
there the open. Wireless.
24:09
Screams the you said you've heard.
24:12
This. Is the her the screen Armed guards
24:14
are those Can you describe? You know
24:16
there's a few different you know we
24:18
hear the big foot sounds on the
24:20
different types of media. There's different types
24:22
is is there any way you can
24:24
kind of described maybe? what type of
24:26
screamers like? How of high oh how
24:28
older And he says that. Ah,
24:32
Ground turn recurring. It.
24:35
It kind of mehmet some
24:37
of those herbs. A couple
24:40
sounds on. I
24:42
like of finding Bigfoot that
24:44
they had can serve. That
24:47
we're. We're. Really
24:50
close aka. Dot.
24:52
Exact. but it was the
24:54
low tar earth. It
24:56
was. Higher than
24:58
lower than card a lower hi again
25:00
it was is kind of a. But.
25:04
It was good direction. That.
25:07
Good. Kill be cause usually Kyle,
25:10
you know Dell Dell how was
25:12
a few seconds. This.
25:15
Seemed like it was for about. Eight
25:17
to ten seconds And it was. It
25:19
was a loud scream. Loud.
25:22
And it didn't. And it wasn't like a cougar
25:24
screaming at her. And I've heard
25:27
them putting a times and was
25:29
nothing even close to the to
25:31
sort of a call of progress
25:33
too short of a call the
25:35
Mass this. All
25:39
I know is when it got across
25:41
the road next grade every hair on
25:43
my body stood up. It didn't say
25:45
to you but you are physically city
25:47
and. I'm just. Here
25:50
that screen.close. It
25:54
was awesome. It now I think it's awesome. Back
25:56
then I was scared to death but. Your
26:01
son is around thirty five right now.
26:03
I think if I do the math,
26:06
How did this affect him later in life
26:08
as an adult? If it did, You
26:12
know why it houses. Ah,
26:14
he does burst craft survival
26:17
things will go out. The
26:19
words. With is
26:21
nice and. And
26:24
of has it sometimes and just stay
26:26
for three or four days. Out the
26:28
words years Living off the landed? What's
26:30
there? To
26:33
the eight it didn't get sacked him. In
26:36
a way. In. Fact: I take
26:38
it made at the other way. Now
26:40
he's not afraid. And
26:43
he wants to fight it. Tight
26:45
brick. So.
26:48
It actually get good instead a
26:50
bad. That. Is
26:53
extremely interesting so add add that guess
26:55
he's probably out in Oregon doing his
26:57
thing. Bus crashed in out there. Yeah.
27:01
He he was a nurse southern Port
27:03
Organ. South
27:06
where he is he. he's actually I'd
27:08
actually you though thou it. I never
27:10
thought of it that way, but it's
27:12
kind of with the opposite way he's
27:14
He's not afraid of anything he just
27:16
he just wants to see it again.
27:18
He does files. I see it as
27:21
see it as Isis. Yeah, we all
27:23
will hopefully someday again. Both.
27:26
Sets: Really, really interesting.
27:30
If he ever does have any encounters, you
27:32
know a guy. keep me in mind for
27:34
sure. So.
27:42
Now. I. Will
27:44
I'll let you continue. with
27:47
what happened was next with solicitors or
27:50
pry like okay what happens next. How
27:53
nurses this was? This was awesome.
27:56
I mean is all that. It's
27:58
the seal occasions I've had. Burger.
28:02
It this is. This was incredible and
28:04
I was thrilled. About.
28:07
Now. Jump forward to two
28:10
thousand Seven. We
28:13
were. We the
28:15
size of a wife wanted to take
28:17
up some hadid slide tucker after, go
28:19
higher and. So
28:22
we get up their kids your
28:24
talents. As get all caps
28:26
said as and we have a.
28:29
We. Have a cab and ten. It's
28:32
ten by twelve as it's seven
28:34
and a half feet tall so
28:36
it is still that will stand
28:38
up at her chance. Everything. Sources
28:41
heard I had the dogs, so he
28:43
had. Think five dogs are
28:45
desperate for dogs at that time. And
28:48
they were for two hours. Believe it or
28:50
not, And. We
28:53
were. We got up there the
28:55
first night and. Eliza.
28:58
Said it it was again. Quiet.
29:02
Loses to force was too quiet
29:04
know coyotes don't doubt that. Kind
29:07
of strange, but oh well, we
29:09
just was. well underway. The
29:12
first night was since it's nothing.
29:16
Doesn't happen. Second, I
29:18
nothing happens. And.
29:20
Then the third guy. It. Was
29:22
quiet again. And.
29:26
We got then. Put. The
29:28
fire cut down with dinner. He
29:31
decided that well, stone go to bed.
29:35
And it was supposed to rain that
29:37
night. So we
29:39
took a tarp. And
29:42
waited over half the
29:44
tabs. On the
29:46
backside and. Half
29:48
way over the front so that we
29:50
can still get outta. The.
29:55
Front of the can't without Best went
29:57
to tarp. well
30:00
The wind blew the tarp off
30:03
the tent, of course, and this was later.
30:06
I was getting ready for bed, so I said,
30:08
oh well, if it rains, I guess we'll hope
30:10
the tent's waterproof, whatever. I'm tired.
30:14
But we were sitting there, and I was
30:16
getting ready for bed. And
30:20
on the tarp, you
30:23
heard a footstep, and
30:26
the tarp crinkled. And
30:29
then crinkled again, and
30:32
I'm going, I
30:34
looked at my visage, it would be real quiet. Something
30:38
out there. She
30:40
goes, oh, it's probably someone just messing around.
30:42
It's the cows, because there were some cows
30:45
around camp. And I said,
30:48
if a cow was stepping on that tarp, you'd
30:50
hear all four legs, you'd hear all
30:52
four feet. I've
30:54
been working on a cow ranch for a
30:56
while. You can
30:58
hear cows coming. I know their steps.
31:01
This is not a cow. So,
31:05
just sat real quiet, and
31:07
it kept coming around. It
31:10
kept coming around the side of the tent, real slow.
31:13
But you could hear it, and she, well, I said, this
31:15
is a bear, and I said, no, it's not a bear.
31:18
This is something else.
31:22
So, I just sat there. And as
31:26
I was listening, it
31:29
made its way around to the front of the
31:31
tent, which was kind of strange. And I thought,
31:33
well, my first thought was,
31:36
maybe someone's out there messing with us. And
31:40
I just stayed there and watched.
31:45
I did have a shotgun
31:48
in the tent with me, and I thought, well, I'll
31:51
just wait and see what's going on.
31:55
And it Kind of was
31:57
like those creep shows, like Baby's. What's
32:00
gonna happen? That's what's going on because you couldn't
32:02
walk all the way around on the front of
32:04
the tears. Said.
32:07
All the signs. Up
32:10
on. Care. Of the top of
32:12
the to.far from the shade or probably.
32:16
Maybe six to eight inches from the center.
32:19
You. Serious thing. Girl scratching
32:21
the cat. Like.
32:24
They're filled with it and you could see.
32:27
The. Singer of True. You know, not through
32:29
the chat but the way that out folds
32:31
You know what Chance does. nylon. And.
32:34
It was scratched the tears. Like
32:37
feel and subs are substance.
32:41
And I like supervisor since well
32:43
and also the ads or are
32:45
they go rak the shotgun and
32:48
I heard it run off. So.
32:52
Why sizzle subsidies mehsud Isis? You saw
32:54
that and she goes, Yeah, I did.

34:43
was in a seizure. was because we've seen
34:45

34:48
That was a Allah says he owes
34:50
I'll pixel. So
34:52
the next morning. Though. We were
34:54
that are. We went out thought that
34:57
morning but came back early. And
35:00
of course how it works for
35:02
tracks as. I
35:04
did find salute. It was dusty
35:07
where we're at. I did see
35:09
some does Spurred attracted early days
35:11
out. Nothing. But baby a
35:13
heel track for being feel pretty part
35:15
of the heel. So.
35:17
That about okay. I've
35:20
I've gotta try this. I
35:22
went over to the tears. And.
35:26
Is that was somebody sager. They
35:28
had to be pretty tall. Cause
35:32
I both inside. nine. Fired.
35:35
Sand. And I couldn't
35:37
even hardly. Reach. Up over the
35:39
wow I could just reach over the heads of the
35:42
tent. Okay, that's far for the help
35:44
of the six ten foot. Cancelled
35:46
it like that. Cat is. And
35:49
it was reed halfway over six seven
35:51
for the high. Six.
35:53
Foot over. As.
35:57
I. say i grabbed stare to nice
36:00
now you get in the tent you look up so
36:02
I took a stick put it down
36:04
on there and moved it she goes that's not even close
36:06
to what it was and
36:08
so I tried different things to see you know if
36:11
I was to be at best with and
36:14
I couldn't I
36:18
couldn't do the same thing that that
36:20
we saw and
36:23
I told her I says you know this is
36:28
the same thing that
36:30
happened before the forest was quiet for
36:33
those three or four days the forest was just
36:35
dead quiet at night Bill
36:38
Kaios no nothing and
36:42
it's the same area and I
36:47
just come to the conclusion that that
36:51
it just happens when you least expect it because
36:55
that thinks what was the last
36:57
thing on my mind while we were up there but
37:00
what I heard it walk around that tent I
37:03
mean it's almost you you
37:07
could feel it but
37:09
you couldn't see it and you could hear it
37:11
and just the steps the
37:13
steps it was I like
37:15
it was sneaking up because
37:18
you could just hear it hit that thing
37:20
and to reach over across the top of
37:22
that tent there's no
37:24
way there's no way anybody could
37:26
have done that without falling
37:28
in on the tent even if they were standing
37:31
on something but
37:35
that was the that was the
37:37
second experience in the same
37:39
area just ten years later
37:41
D that is that is wild
37:44
good so after that
37:48
was that enough so you're like
37:50
I'm not going back there anymore
37:52
or is it a thing where
37:54
I might go back there again
37:56
someday no it came to the point
38:00
where it was, I'm going back there again. I
38:05
got excited that time. I got excited. I
38:07
just, I had the dogs and the wife
38:09
with me, but I was, I was
38:12
like, I'm not crazy. Okay. You
38:14
know, that was kind of my thing. It was like
38:17
in my own brain. It was, I'm not crazy. There
38:20
is actually something up here and it's
38:22
big foot. And
38:26
I want to see it again. Would
38:31
you go back there again for a third time?
38:34
Oh yeah. Oh yeah. To
38:37
have one more experience. I
38:41
think it would be worth it now. Do
38:43
I want to keep my distance? Yeah. I really,
38:45
I really don't want to come face to face
38:47
with her. You know, I mean, I
38:50
do and I don't. Like I
38:53
said, it's, it's an animal. You don't know what
38:55
might happen. I
38:59
like the distance, but I
39:02
am not afraid. I'm
39:05
more curious than afraid to see it again. I want
39:07
to see more of it. People
39:09
that have actually seen their faces,
39:12
that type of thing. I
39:15
I'd love to experience that part, but
39:20
it hasn't made me scared to go in, in the
39:22
woods at all. It's made
39:24
me more curious. Absolutely.
39:29
Would you be able to mark on a map,
39:31
the general area where this
39:33
happened? I feel like there's, there's gotta
39:35
be other people that have experienced stuff
39:37
in the same area. Oh
39:41
yeah. Yeah, I can't,
39:43
I mark it on the map and
39:45
send it to you. I
39:47
just, I have a feeling that would be, that
39:50
would be great. Scott's a
39:52
good guy. He's got a very similar way of
39:54
thinking as I do. So we're, we
39:56
both have the same question. Do you know if
39:58
there's been stories of. other
40:01
sightings or activity in that
40:03
area either prior to you
40:05
camping there afterwards? You
40:09
know I haven't heard of much activity
40:11
but I'll tell you people over there
40:13
really don't talk about it. If
40:23
they would people think they're crazy. It's the
40:25
old way of thinking. I think it's just
40:28
like my grandpa was. I mean
40:31
you know they just don't talk about those
40:33
things. You know you guys
40:35
are crazy blah blah blah. I
40:39
do know of a couple of
40:41
reports back then that happened
40:45
in the Minam Canyon which
40:47
is where those reports
40:50
took place that I could find
40:52
out or understand where they were
40:54
at was probably I don't
40:57
know maybe
41:01
50 to 20 miles away. So
41:06
I mean it's not
41:09
an outreach of them
41:11
moving that far. And
41:14
I'm kind of on the I don't know
41:16
my theory if I could say it is
41:20
that I think they move around.
41:22
I think they almost a small migration
41:24
not a I don't think they're going
41:26
from Alaska to California. I don't really
41:29
think you go that far but
41:31
I think they have their high ground and then
41:33
they have their low ground and
41:36
travel with the food. I
41:39
really believe and where
41:41
we camped at is kind
41:43
of the mid-range between high
41:46
and low. And
41:50
I kind of wondered if it wasn't
41:52
it was around in October early October
41:55
and I
41:59
almost I just wondered if they weren't starting to
42:02
move down from their high ranges. And
42:04
it was just kind of a migration
42:07
path. You know,
42:09
my theory. Were both
42:12
times in October? Yeah.
42:16
Yep. Because
42:19
I, I hunted in those woods, but also
42:21
by sudden I went up there and did
42:24
some hiking, we'd go up
42:26
there and just do some scouting around, just hike.
42:28
And never had,
42:31
never saw anything, never
42:33
had any interaction,
42:36
never felt anything. Cause sometimes if you get
42:38
out in the woods enough, you
42:42
kind of feel things. Uh,
42:44
you're all like, yeah, maybe we shouldn't go
42:46
down there. Or you just, you got a
42:48
gut feeling that maybe that's
42:51
not good place to go. Uh,
42:54
we hiked all over up there.
42:56
Never, I never got that feeling
42:58
of something's there or something, you
43:00
know, watching us or anything, but
43:05
that's what kind of amazed me. Cause I'd been
43:07
in the woods and been around those woods so
43:09
much and then have both
43:12
these things happened in
43:14
the same place. It
43:16
was, it was kind of, uh, shocking.
43:20
Cause the,
43:22
the, the
43:25
last thought in my mind, I'd
43:27
ever be able to have those
43:29
experiences that close
43:33
to where I was living. I was living in Legrand
43:36
at the time, but now
43:39
it's in my area. I don't have
43:41
to read books about it being in
43:43
Washington, California, and place else it's
43:46
right up there. And of course, as
43:49
my son got older, we'd go looking for
43:51
it, but we'd never, never
43:53
found anything. Oh,
43:56
so that, that is very interesting. So the
43:58
times that you weren't. looking,
44:02
but the times that you were,
44:05
that's very interesting. That's
44:09
why I've told some people that I've talked
44:11
to, they say, well, I want to find
44:13
Bigfoot, let's go Bigfoot. And I says, you'll
44:15
never find it. I
44:18
says, you need to go
44:20
into the places, not
44:22
expecting it, and not be
44:24
prepared for it. And I said, that's
44:26
when you see it. That's when it
44:29
all happens. And
44:33
that's what's happened every time. And
44:35
I saw now when I go out in the woods, I
44:39
hide the cameras and everything. So I'm not expected
44:41
to see Bigfoot, but I'm sure going to get
44:43
a picture of it this time. Yeah,
44:47
you see, you're good to go. You have
44:50
a camera with you and maybe even
44:52
audio recorder, who knows? Yeah.
44:55
Yeah, audio recorder. And
44:57
then what was it about? I
45:01
guess it's been 10 years, finally got night
45:03
vision. And so, and
45:06
that's been real handy. So
45:10
I'm not the richest feller.
45:12
I can't afford all
45:15
the fancy toys they have for Bigfoot
45:17
hunting. So yeah,
45:20
sub day, sub day I'll have them.
45:24
Well, it has been really,
45:26
really interesting chat about
45:29
an area I haven't really talked to
45:31
a lot of people about. So it'll
45:33
be interesting to see what comes of
45:35
this interview. And
45:39
you have, we talked a little bit earlier
45:41
today that you agreed
45:44
to stay on a little bit longer.
45:46
And I'm going to talk about some
45:48
other subjects for the Patreon,
45:53
kind of like an after show and
45:55
it's kind of non Bigfoot related subjects,
45:57
but it'll get interesting. It's kind
45:59
of a new. that I'm trying
46:01
out. So yeah,
46:03
we will chat about that, but I just want
46:05
to say thank you so much for
46:08
coming on. If you enjoyed this
46:10
episode and wish there was more to hear from Dee,
46:12
well guess what, there is. I'm
46:15
doing strange days for some
46:17
episodes now if the interviewee is up for
46:19
it, and what that is, is I ask
46:21
them all sorts of questions about weird stuff
46:23
that's happened in their life that is not
46:26
related to Bigfoot. Sometimes
46:28
this gets extremely intense, so
46:30
it is not for the faint of heart, and
46:33
it is available for
46:36
members of the podcast. You can become a
46:38
member of the podcast
46:40
by going to patreon.com/the Bigfoot
46:42
Society, or going over to the
46:44
YouTube channel member and clicking the join
46:47
button under the second tier,
46:49
which is the Bigfoot Posse tier. If
46:52
you're wanting to get the full
46:54
Bigfoot Society member experience, I would
46:56
recommend joining over on Patreon
46:58
as our community over there is pretty
47:00
wild, and it's a good
47:02
time, and we have ways of hanging
47:04
out and just getting to
47:07
know each other better. So definitely check
47:09
out Patreon, but YouTube is there as
47:11
well for those who aren't able to
47:13
make the jump across platforms. Please
47:17
take a minute to help out the
47:19
show by subscribing on YouTube, making
47:22
sure you hit the bell so you don't
47:24
miss any notifications, and share the episode on

YouTube with a friend. Also, if
47:28
you're listening to us on a podcast,
47:31
thank you so much, make sure that you're

47:38
sharing the show wherever you can. If
