The world coming to an end seems to be the talk of the town these days. We used to think animation would be an ideal means of escapism, but Thaddeus and Pally seemed to find apocalyptic themes everywhere they turn.

First, they watch the world come to an end, and beloved DC characters struggle to survive in the latest WB animation Justice League Dark: The Apokolips War. After that, they tried to lighten the mood with Justin Roiland's new animated Sci-Fi comedy Solar Opposites. But even there, they were confronted by a devastated planet, and a Mad Max microcosm. While our two hosts learn they process their emotions, (and lack thereof in Thaddeus's case), they try to keep up their spirits in these dark times.
