This is one of our absolute favorite history podcasts! We have learned so much through this show about people not often covered in history class. We highly recommend this podcast to anyone who wants to learn more about black history.

Binging the first couple episodes of this podcast and it is already an experience I will cherish for a long time. As a white male I have MUCH to learn, and recognize I know nothing. Eyeopening, thought provoking, intelligent and guided by the smooth wonderful voice of King Kurus to take you along on a journey through time. So far most episodes have focused around individuals themselves, how they impacted the world around them and history itself. Many are presented in "bite-size" pieces (20min or less), and are sprinkled with sound bites and well placed SFX to pull you into a full immersion experience. I'm a huge history lover and I am excited to learn more about the history of black people, seek to understand and celebrate the diversity of our world. Thank you so much for a great podcast!
