The Person Who Hurt Me the Most: My Abuse Story
So, I'm going to trigger warning this episode for RAPE/SEXUAL ABUSE, GASLIGHTING, and MENTAL/EMOTIONAL ABUSE.In this season 1 finale, I talk about something I've hinted at in various episodes. I'll be honest, I was afraid of bringing this story to light simply because while I haven't had communication with certain parties over the past year, of retaliation. While I realistically don't think they would, I also didn't think they'd do half the shit they did to me. Gas lighters will always find a way to make you the bad guy, even if you are in fact the victim/survivor. So, call me Chun-Li, I guess.I'm speaking my truth, and this wasn't easy. It's something I wanted to do for a while, but I was just afraid. I am still healing. I will continue to heal. It is a continual process, and if you follow any of my other work you'll see me reference this situation repeatedly. Thank you everyone who has supported this venture. Season 2 production starts soon, and I'm hoping will debut in early 2019. I love this, and all of you for supporting me both here and on patreon (where I will be uploading an essay of my thoughts later). And, if you're reading this (you know who you are)--Go to hell, man. You will never be forgiven, and I will never stop spreading my truth. May those who are close to you realize the monster you truly are and save themselves, but that's not my job. Yes, that was melodramatic. And yes, I don't give a fuck. Thank you everyone. I love you all so much.Brittany J.Support the show

Policing Confidence.
No one is naturally born confident. If someone is, they probably work on it hard DAILY. On top of that, the world needs to stop dictating how someone should be confident.Support the show
