*Trigger Warning*: Talk of pregnancy emergencies & premature birth. Parenting can be a challenging and overwhelming experience, and it is normal to have moments of doubt and uncertainty. It is important to remember that parenthood is a journey, and that it is okay to ask for help and support when needed.
The experience of being a stay-at-home mom can be particularly challenging, as it can be isolating and emotionally taxing. Prioritize self-care and to seek out resources and support systems that can help alleviate some of the stress and pressure.
My traumatic premature birth experience and newborn's extended stay in the NICU is a reminder of the resilience and strength of parents who face difficult and unexpected challenges. Acknowledging the emotional toll that these experiences can have and to seek out support and resources to help cope with the stress and trauma.
Overall, it is important to approach parenthood with empathy, understanding, and a willingness to seek out help and support when needed. By doing so, we can create a supportive and nurturing environment for ourselves and our children.(this episode was recorded previously before the name change) Grab your water, raw cone, herbal tea, or libations & let’s get into it!
