Black Women In Radio(BWIR) celebrates its collaboration with their international sisters in media. Born out of the need to create digital safe spaces for Black women, Black Dope Mums leads a powerful movement of global reach.

The Dope Black Mums Podcast is a ‘keeping it real’ weekly podcast fronted by five dope black mums who rarely agree on anything. Giving insight into their experience of modern-day motherhood - with top tips, inspirational guests, insightful topics, eye-opening honesty, and lots of laughter. 

The podcast episodes stream on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and all major streaming platforms.

Meet Carina White!
Carina is Head of Business & Partnerships, BCOMs (The Black Collective of Media in Sport) Board Member, School Governor, Dope Black Mums Podcaster and also a freelance Brand Specialist. Carina is an accomplished public and panel speaker and is regularly booked to participate in events surrounding sport, diversity and other topics.

Carina started her career in football over ten years ago when she worked at a football agency. She was responsible for player contract negotiation, player PR, crisis management and media training for athlete clients.

Carina went on to join a sports management company from media agency MediaCom, and brought with her a wealth of experience in Media, Advertising and Marketing, Event Management and PR.

Listed as The Voice Newspaper’s One to Watch for 2020 and also nominated for a We Are The City Rising Star award, Carina is making her mark within the industry.

Black Women In Radio (BWIR) LLC.  is the first organization to push minority female broadcasters forward in a way that celebrates them as the significant contributors to society that they are. We are here to celebrate our diversity and tell our stories like only we can.
