Where we are seated together in a circle, around a warm fire at the beach, with the sound of lapping water in the distance. And our collective intention is to share, teach, and help other Conscious Women Entrepreneurs just like you, transform by sharing stories that include both laughter and sorrow about our life and business.

Episode #22: Melissa Weaver

imageBio:  In August of 2013, Melissa Weaver was diagnosed with breast cancer, and life as she knew it changed forever. She does not define her life by cancer. Instead, her purpose and identity lie in the idea that she has chosen, amongst the rubble and loss, to build a more purposeful life and become a source of inspiration for others.

Melissa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has committed her work to helping others, including the facilitation of grief support groups, an inspirational speaker for TMI consulting, and adjunct faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University. She also enjoys providing volunteer work for national non-profits.

Find her online at Reconstructed Living.

Key Questions for You to Ponder:

  1. Is there a time in your life that you experienced a loss of innocence?
  2. What door do you need to close so other doors can open in your life and business?
  3. When have you experienced being in the here and now and be present?
  4. Are you allowing yourself the opportunity to feel?
  5. What experiences, not things, are you collecting in your life and business?
  6. What represents you and your business?
