As summer comes to a close and the school year begins, teachers are beginning their back to school prep. This includes gathering lesson ideas, pulling out song collections, and a Target run or two (or three or four….).

The end of summer or beginning of the school year is a great time to focus on planning. However, there’s never a bad time to think carefully and creatively about your goals for your students, and how best to implement them.
