Let's pick up where we left off last week; Don't choose religion, man's opinions. but choose real Christianity, God's word. Faith has been replaced with man's philosophy. It is governed by the mind of the flesh instead of the faith producing inspiration of God's word. 2 Timothy 3:16 in the World English Bible reads, 16 Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness. How come you went to church and left feeling like you didn't profit from the service. That is because somebody gave you a man's opinion and not God's word. You should be inspired every time you go to church. But some minister stripped the Bible of what could profit you and instruct you in righteousness. Religious philosophy is a way of thinking. But Jesus is the way. They attempt to make the Bible say something that it does not. You must be careful because if you start believing this, you will lose the power that belongs to you as a follower of Christ. It is just like when they create food in a lab. If you start eating that kind of food, you forget what real food tastes like. And you will become sick. Don't let anybody change with the word of God plainly stated. Remember, Jesus is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6). John 16:13 in the World English Bible reads, 13 However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming. The question is how do you prosper in the Christian Life? Answer: by doing exactly what the Bible says and not what man says. Because if you keep swallowing what man says when the real comes, you will say that's of the devil. Just seek, and you will find (Matthew 7:7). Religion never transforms you, it conforms you. It's basis is experience and sense knowledge. Romans 12:2 in the World English Bible reads, 2 Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. The problem with the Church is they have become keepers of aquariums not Fishers of Men. The Church is worried about not saying anything too strong to offend the people but we are losing the world in the process. Aquariums are beautiful but actually they are prisons, ask the fish. By watering down the word of God the Church has imprisoned His people. You have to ask yourself what does the word of God say? If you make up your mind to go by what the Bible says instead of what man says, you can break free from the prison that Church has placed you in. Religion will never transform you. You must produce, be fruitful. You must multiply, always increase. And then subdue. Control your environment or it will control you. Religion will conform you to institutional living. It will say things like I know God said that but. Or God just wanted to take the baby home. These are religious statements not real Christianity. In John 11:39, Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days (WEB).” Martha's statement was an intellectual one because in verse 25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life (WEB). She did not believe that Jesus would raise him from the dead. Sometimes when we are so religious the truth sounds Illogical. Remember, Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2, WEB). You can live out the Biblical text because Religious Christianity can never rise higher than its source. So make your source the Bible, Real Christianity. So, please share this podcast with others.
