There’s not one set background required to make it in the boardroom. In fact, directors come from an incredibly diverse pool of ethnic, cultural, and career backgrounds. Today, we examine a director hailing from a military background and in what ways he leveraged his experiences.
In today’s episode, we explore the life of Michael Montelongo who began his career by attending a military academy and growing at a rapid rate, advancing through military ranks and serving the country proudly for 20 years. He quickly advanced to Harvard Business School and then served as the CFO for the Air Force for several years. Now he’s serving on over eight boards and we’re so excited for him to share his knowledge and experience with us. We dive into this and more, on today’s episode of Boardroom Bound.
