Bob McLain
Bob McLain started in radio as a part time weekend DJ at WEAM in Washington,DC at age 15 while in high school, and he’s been at WORD since June of2006. Bob has worked at many legendary Top 40 stations in the “GoldenAge” of rock and roll, the 60’s and 70’s. Markets include New YorkCity, Washington, DC, Dallas, Memphis, Sacramento, San Francisco, Phoenix andmore. In addition, Bob worked in TV for 20 years as a sportscaster,weathercaster and news anchor. Bob enjoys talking with people aboutsignificant issues every day. He doesn’t talk down to listeners andwelcomes callers with differing views. He allows people time to have theirsay.
