“My mom was a multiple myeloma patient, she died a couple of years ago. Blood donations not only improved the quality of my mom’s life during her time with cancer, it also gave our family the gift of having our mom for 4 more years. That doesn’t sound like a lot but when you know you have an incurable cancer 4 more years of Christmases, birthdays, anniversaries, family dinners and having your grandmother there for your graduation is the greatest gift any family could receive. We are forever grateful to all those people who donated blood and gave my mom those 4 years.”
