Despite Tvindy’s unshakeable optimism, it’s time to face the unavoidable fact that Bob’s Yer Uncle! won’t be coming back. Jana and I are both genuinely touched that there are still a few of you checking the rss feed, and it is for your benefit that we’re giving an official adieu.

Having two children means that we have very little spare time, and even when we do we don’t often have it at the same time or in an environment quiet enough to record. As a result, podcasting just isn’t feasible.

I’ve decided to create my own personal blog, where I can post some rants and pontifications of the kind I used to contribute to Bob’s Yer Uncle! with less need for time and quiet, so if you’re interested in more of that kind of thing you can find it here. I know it’s not quite the same thing and it’s lacking Jana’s winsome voice, but it seems to be the best I can manage for now.

I’ll be taking down the website in a week or so. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported the show during its run - we love you all.
