In this episode of the Bombshell Business Podcast Amber Hurdle interviews Bombshell Business Expert and Life Coach, Jaime Gordon, about how to not let the holidays derail you from your annual vision. Her steps include:

1. Have a vision….apply it to the holiday season​. If you don’t have a vision, hammer one out.
2. Stop making stuff up: we make up rules that aren’t there.​ Who says you have to go to everything you are invited to? Who says you need a new outfit for holiday parties? Who says you need to give gifts/expensive gifts to people? Who says you have to send out a holiday card? Lights on your house?
3. Be willing to give some things up in order for your vision to come to fruition:​ Be willing to skip parties, or skip on foods not on the diet...or be willing to let some stuff slide to stay connected with the important things (like leaving the blinds undusted). Be ok to say “no” to some good stuff so you can say “yes” to the great stuff.
4. Ask yourself what resources can you tap into What requests can you make? (Get creative​!) Can you teach your kids to do their own laundry? Can you shop online? Can you get a cleaning service to help you out? Can you postpone the business trip until January? Can you use gift bags versus wrapping presents?
5. Offer yourself in the way you want to experience others. Consider intentionally being gracious, curious, intimate, loving, forgiving or whatever is the priority for you.

With these tips you can keep your holidays festive, meaningful, MUCH less stressful...and importantly in alignment with your vision for this year!
