In about 3 hours, we are going to go to the demolished library where Alice was taken. And we're going to end this. I am posting this in case you don't ever hear from us again. If we don't make it, do me a favour. Make sure this isn't the end of
Tell returns to Alice's dorm room to try to track down the elusive essay: the final fragment we need before we can, supposedly, open this door through which Alice was taken.
We know - or heavily suspect - that this short play called 'A Concealed Poet' is supposed to somehow point to or contain the third 'fragment' we're looking for. The Letter grid gave us the name of an essay, the USB key got us to a Scottish folk
We're back to work in our new reality, with surprising updates and sinister possibilities.
Posting from a crappy motel room. Not sure when I'll be able to post again.
With a lot of assists from the Instagram community, we've cracked into Alice's USB key!
Sorry if I've seemed out of it for the past few days. This episode should handily explain why, but we're back now.
I've finished transcribing the rest of the coded messages Alice left in her Bullet Journal, with the help of some listeners who are much smarter than me. Now we need to figure out what they all mean when you put them together.

Tell has a theory that wraps up everything we've learned with a bow, but doesn't necessarily bode well for our brains. We get on the phone with someone who helps us understand the square kufic Alice was drawing in her journal, and we get to hea
I always knew that some day National Treasure would save my life.
Our investigation and the haul we got from Alice's room have provided no easy answers, and things are complicated by the issues we're both having with our memories and the fact that we're having recurrent nightmares. But we do have some theorie
A voicemail from Tell and all of a sudden I guess I'm back on the case...
I'm presenting this episode chronologically as it happened because I'm not sure how else to do it. I might be taking a bit of a break, we'll see. Things are just too weird and too unnerving right now to say.
I delve into some of the more outlandish theories I've heard about the recording of episode 2, and get to flex my sleuth muscles a little bit to explain how I figured out what room number was Alice's and how her shared dorm was laid out.Music b
The race is on to figure out how to access Alice's dorm room before the contents are dumped. As you'll hear, my initial efforts met with some very strange, and very frustrating results. But after hitting a roadblock, it's time to time call in s
To my surprise and delight, I've been getting some feedback about the podcast in my email! I've decided that as long as I keep getting messages, I'll use the week in between episodes to answer some of them. Thanks to everyone who has written in
