David A. Gethers is a dynamic and energetic Life Transformation Specialist. In 2013 after spending 15 years in prison, David, with only a high school diploma, got out of prison with a plan to transform his life. He did just that! He entered collage at Governors State University, in University Park IL. 

In 2014, he would go on to become the Vice-President of the Student Senate and graduate Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication in 2016. David also went to Olivet Nazarene University, in Bourbonnais, II where he earned his Masters Degree in Leadership in 2019. Davis is the founder of The 2Gethers Foundation and the CEO of Defy The Odds, INC. 

David delivers transformational messages of empowerment, encouragement and hope to diverse audiences with workshops on Decision Making, Dealing with Adversity, and Blue Print 2 Success. David leaves his audience with his exceptional charge: live with impact, live with intention, live with integrity.
