Host Vondale Singleton sits down with Christopher Crater, a Chicago Native rooted in serving his city.   Christopher is a graduate of Mississippi Valley State University with a BA in Communication and a graduate from Arkansas State University with a Masters Degree in Communication Studies. Christopher is currently a part of the Public Engagement Team at the Obama Foundation as the Community Engagement Associate. 

Christopher helps lead the community engagement efforts around bringing the Obama Presidential Center to Chicago’s Southside. Most recently, Christopher served as Director of Community Programs for Urban Prep Academies.

With more than 6 years of urban education experience as both a teacher and administrator on Chicago’s West and Southside. Christopher has worked closely with several Chicago violence prevention programs around the advancement of African American males.
