Tune in now for a great conversation on brain function! Dr. Russell J. Kort is a 1999 graduate of the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He has been serving patients for more than a decade and truly enjoys helping his patients maintain a healthy lifestyle. After more than 500 classroom hours Dr. Kort is working on obtaining both a Diplomate in Chiropractic Functional Neurology as well as a Fellow in Traumatic Brain Injuries. Continuing to learn; continuing to serve. Growing up in Colorado, Dr. Kort experienced chiropractic for the first time after a ski racing crash left him with a severely sprained neck. Although he was only seven years old, he knew after his first adjustment that chiropractic was his destiny. Continuing to ski race for 12 years there were many chiropractic visits in his childhood. Maybe this is why Dr. Kort feels it is so important to take care of our children athletes. Dr. Kort’s mantra is: “It is easier to build a healthy child than repair an injured adult.” Dr. Kort enjoys spending time with his family and loves the outdoors. Favorite activities are camping, snow skiing, cycling, hiking, or leading scouts. He loves to travel and is always eager to go exploring with his kids.
