Schools have been among the most visible social victims of the pandemic, with their openings and closures being a point of national discussion and affecting almost every family on some level. In this episode, we speak to School Principal, Candi Dempster from Ryan Catholic College in Townsville, about the processes involved in trying to support students through unprecedented times. Candi is a relatively recent arrival from Charters Towers, though, so we also take the opportunity to explore some of the things that make life, support services, and resourcing different between cities and regional communities.
