Bread and ButterA collaboration between Farm School and students at Portland State University
Bread and Butter is the result of a ten week Farm School course offered at Portland State University through the Chiron Studies program. The course revived the educational approach and collaborative processes pioneered by the Foxfire book series in rural Georgia in the 1960s. Students examined their communities and then interviewed nine local workers and documented what they found through a podcast series and publication.
