BRICKS CITY host The Real Charlemagne meets with Lisa Johnson and Melissa Murphy about their upcoming school supply give away in Jacksonville NC. We discuss why they are hosting the event and the purpose behind their giving back to their community.

Lisa Johnson LPN from Long Island NY currently residing in North Carolina. I started out in Healthcare at the age of 19 and eventually became and LPN in 2001. I became a member of Lambda Psi Nu Sorority Inc. on October 3, 2019. Lambda Psi Nu Sorority is the 1st and only nursing sorority owned and operated by Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses. After becoming a member I decided that North Carolina should have a voice for the LPN'S in our state so in June of 2020, the NC Beta Chapter became official with me as President. I later became the secretary of the national executive board of Lambda Psi Nu Sorority Inc.


Melissa Murphy Bio

A mother to 4 beautiful children, De’Shaun, Sheriyah, Michael and Anaysia. She believes that family is her first ministry. Her life is a life of servitude. Working in the medical field over the years starting off as a medical assistant and has diligently worked her way up to become a nurse, her slogan is “I am a nurse called for his purpose”. A nursepreneur of multiple businesses: StrongTower Enterprises, Murphy Notary and Services and Blessed Assurance Homecare just to name a few.
