Show Notes:

• Start off with some photos. Discuss with them
• The key here is listening to what they’re saying
• Ask the right questions. What’s their skin like, how much makeup do they wear on a normal basis, how much coverage do they want, do they prefer matte or dewy finish?
• Now I’m gonna lose a lot of you when I say this next sentence BUT sometimes clients aren’t prepared with photos and this process STILL works!
• Take it SLOW!
• Once you’ve almost completed the look, no liner, no lashes, you can show them the mirror and get feedback and give them options for moving forward (we can add or take away)
• The reason why you WAIT until they’re almost complete is because a lot of times it’s hard for them to visualize what the rest of the makeup would look like
• Lastly when it comes to eyelashes, they can make or break the style. Eyelashes come in all shapes and sizes and can have positive or negative effects on the eyes. Be sure to select the right style for the makeup look, the clients eye shape and to compliment their natural lashes.
• After you’re completely done and you show them the mirror, always ask if there’s anything else they’d like, any adjustments they would like to make.
